Technical question for Avada and Payapl integration:
“PayPal is upgrading the certificate for www.paypal.com to SHA-256. This endpoint is also used by merchants using the Instant Payment Notification (IPN) product.
You’re receiving this notification because you’ve been identified as a merchant who has used IPN endpoints within the past year. If you have not made the necessary changes, we urge you to do so right away to avoid a disruption of your service!”
How do check these settings in the Avada theme?

Avada doesn’t use IPN by itself. Maybe you have installed some other plugin that does. You would have to check with the plugin vendor then.

Hello, Is it possible to remove the ‘Add to Cart – Details’ section that appear under the Woo Commerce Lists? I am using Woo’s Catalog Visibility plugin to remove all cart options, but the theme seems to be adding it back in. Thanks!

In woo-config.php in Avada/includes folder, please find
add_action( 'woocommerce_after_shop_loop_item', array( $this, 'avada_woocommerce_template_loop_add_to_cart' ), 10 );
Remove it, then the links should go away.

The cart icon and My account links have disappeared from the secondary menu above the header since the last update even though I am using v2 header and the following options are ticked in the theme options:
1. Show Woocommerce My Account Link in Secondary Menu 2. Check the box to show the Cart icon
However if I add a new top menu in the menu settings and add these pages to it, it displays, but duplicates them.

1 – The icon should not be offset like that, something is off. Check your custom CSS if you have any
2 – This can be done with custom CSS, we will be including an additional option to handle this soon

PHP can’t be added to the shortcodes directly in the builder, if that is what you are referring to as ‘modules’. The alternative would be to customize the theme’s code to add in your PHP or create custom templates as required

OK thanks. To elaborate I would like to add custom php code between two builder elements. How can I do this? Do I use a custom template and add the block php to this and if so can you provide an example on how to do it?

Unfortunately, this won’t be possible. You can try downloading a plugin to allow PHP tags within the content area and then use codeblock to insert the PHP tag but this is a huge security risk and don’t come recommended.
If you really want to use builder elements, you can insert the shortcode of the builder elements within the custom php page template using do_shortcode function.

Hello, is there a way I can create an FAQ page using tabs? i.e bring the FAQ module to a tab?

If you wanted to you could use the tabs as a type of FAQ setup, manually adding in each question as a tab title and answer as the tabbed content. As the tabs were not intended for this, you would need to keep an eye on the tab title and how the CSS and line heights stack up with the length of the text added

Hi, I’ve used Avada for two sites, and I’m about to purchase multiple licenses for future sites, however I can’t get a response from the support email about whether specific future improvements will happen. Be great if you can let me know, thanks.
1) Animation load speed: It would be great to have the option to control the load speed of animations, in the same way we have control over the animation speed itself. Every time I create a site with Avada, I have to hire a programmer to custom fix this. Currently in Avada they load too slowly, leaving white space visible for too long on page scroll – see this quick video I made for one of your support reps to show him the problem – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ey03TafrPSo&feature=youtu.be
2) Google maps with directions: Your google map currently does not offer directions. I have to use use Google generated code to embed a map with directions, but it would be awesome if the map could match the Avada theme, and include google directions option.
3) Masonry style portfolios and galleries. They are starting to look a little dated, and masonry style option would help this a lot.

Hi. i was planning to use this to showcase videos as I am a freelance videographer. Is there anyway to make the top image a playable video but that doesn’t play automatically? Instead a play button so you can link the box to a Vimeo video instead? Something like this http://www.robadamsfilms.com

Yes that is something you can do with our portfolio. You can add a video to every portfolio item and it will show on the archive page, with a play button.

Hi there, Could we expect in your next release some new features : - for the megamenu : background image, tabs, “featured image” appearing with the post without using a widget for this (e.g. in Sahifa) - ability to create sticky sidebars (idem) - ajax live search (similar to Google suggest) (idem) - no border between flipboxes - more elements to configure CF7 & Gravity Forms styling (margin, padding, text color, background color, button configuration…) - other styles for the search form (search form covering the menu as we can find e.g. in Salient - search form as a shortcode in Fusion Builder (as we alread have in Widgets). We could e;g; create beautiful forums, “search pages” for articles (especially for your next demo… I think I know the secret third plugin you spoke about for having already spoken with Mohammad Haris about the integration of this plugin, but hush! lol) - ability to add an infocard when we’re hovering the logo (e.g. Kallyas theme) - ability to add a photo / slider of photos in the Contact Info Widget Sorry to give references of other templates but that’s the best way to show what exactly I’m speaking about. I’m looking forward to seeing these improvements in your next release(s). You know how much I like your Theme and as anything we like we always expect the best. Thanks for this great job and all the upgrades already done in these last years. S

We always work hard to implement the most wanted features for our users, so we have to set priorities, but we are sure you understand that.

In the gradient_colors= param of the button shortcode you can use grba() values, where the last value is for opacity, ranging from 0 to 1.

Hi there,
I was wondering if it is possible to hide only certain columns within the full-width container as opposed to hiding the entire full-width container on mobile? I can hide the full-width container no problem and see the option for specific columns but it’s not working when inside of the container.

Hmm that should be working wether it is inside the full width container or not. Let me test this out and see, if it needs fixed we’ll add it to the upcoming update if possible.

Yes, it is coming in about 2 weeks (maybe little longer). This new 3.8.7 version will contain one main new demo, however it is a very special one because it adds additional design integration for one of the most popular 3rd party plugins on the planet We can’t give it away yet, but its coming soon!
