How do I add images to the home page photo slider on Kalium?
Hi
To add slider images, you need to create a slider in Revolution Slider via Admin panel, then create new page, add Revolution slider element and select the slider you have created.
Also in Visual Composer you have some other sliders, but revolution slider is more advanced and allows you to create nice sliders.

Hello, I’m using slider revolution as home page with a vimeo link in it. I have a problem here, the play button keeps showing every time I move the mouse. Is it possible to hide the play button completely, I would prefer to keep the video looping without the pause option.

I updated my client’s Kalium theme yesterday (along with all the plugins that needed updating) and doing so wiped the style sheet clean. This is TERRIBLE. How can I gain access to the old stylesheet???

If you’ve updated via Envato Toolkit, there must be a backup file created in wp-content/ folder. Otherwise if you have updated it manually there are no chances to bring the old style back.
But, please make sure you have updated to the very latest version of Kalium, it should not break any style, it contains only fixes and new features.

Hi! I’ve purchased your theme, it looks great. But how do I create a layout (Big image on top) like in the ‘Main’ example. Is it created with Revolution slider? Or an edited Blog / Portfolio post?
And a second question: Is it possible to edit the portfolio template page with Visual Editor (To add a header image, or slider). It seems it doesn’t respond to any added item.
And another question is: how exactly can I edit the color for the rollover-state inside the masonry portfolio grid? I cant find the setting for the tag-text (hover) color. Many thanks!

I’m using the ‘standard menu’ and trying it with a revolution slider. But the two items are stacked. How can I set the slider behind (aligned to top, full width) the menu buttons?
One more question, regarding the alignment / stacking: On mobile, the carousel (Revolution slider), seems to disappear (it slides upward). Any ways of fixing this? I cant find the settings. Many many thanks!

Hi. Updated to 1.5.2 received vc_map_get_attributes() fatal error. Updated all plugins except for WPBakery Visual Composer showing Update package not available.

Please update Visual Composer to the latest version in order to not get that error, so to update it go to Appearance > Install Plugins and click update to visual composer. You will no longer see that error.

Any tips on how to take this theme out of dev mode? (theme options setting does not disable devmode even though the setting is saved) Looks like some but or inconsistency between theme updates. Maybe it’s just me? =)

When you click save changes do you see those changes being saved in admin area? If so, then you should be using some caching plugin that shows you old content of your site, you need to clear cache of wordpress site (if you use a caching plugin)

Hi, I have 2 local test installation with demo content for ‘Shop’ and another with demo content from ‘Agency’. With both installation there are issues with the menu. I have an horizontal menu, which starts showing from 769px width, and the hamburger icon menu that shows untill width 991px. So between 769px and 991 px width the websites have 2 menus: main horizontal menu + hamburger icon menu. Any solution here? Thanks in advanced.

2. The height of the footer changes automatically when you add/remove elements from it, you can change the padding of top/bottom and that will affect in the footer height too.
3. If you’re familiar with CSS then you can do this easily, just write your custom styling codes into the Custom CSS area which will overwrite the main style, if you’re new to this then you can give us your site URL and we will give you the style needed for these, you just need to paste them.

5. This is not supported, the audio post is because the blog has it’s own post types and the Audio is one of them.

7. When creating a new Revolution slider in the slider settings you have the “Full Screen” option, make sure you tick that and it will turn on the Full Screen option.
8. I didn’t understand this question, do you want when you click over the slide to trigger the next slider or how?

1— The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins
you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure
Then don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.
2— Layer Slider don’t allow us to give customers our license number, so on each premium plugin such as Visual Composer, Revolution Slider and Layer Slider update we release a new update to our theme with the latest version of that plugin included, and customers don’t need to worry about that.
You never need to buy any premium plugins that comes with our theme
P.S: If your Layer Slider don’t update then please delete it from the plugins section, and then install it again.

I have some cuestions for you
1:Is there any possibility of having a static menu on top of the pages or change the sticky menu to be loaded in the load event of the page? For instance, in http://borjagimeno.com/index.php/portfolio/escuela/ I would like to have the sticky menu displayed on page load to prevent the overlap menu-images.
2:Could be an image used as background for the sticky menu editing the css file?
3:I would like to have two different portfolios with the same items in both of them but sorted by different categories. I used taxonomies to filter and it works fine but I need to show the taxonomies so the user can filter by his preference. Just the same way the categories are displayed. The cuestion is: What file/s would i need to change to do that? Any idea to make it easier? Thanks in advance and sorry for my english.

I just updated my page to Kalium 1.5.2 and some interaction with the thumbnails don’t work anymore. see http://paintedbynature.ch/neuseeland-europa-pano-diashow/ this page is created with VC 4.7 – when inserting the same revolution slider in a page without VC then the clicks on the thumbnails work. see http://paintedbynature.ch/testslider/Is the new update gonna fix that issue?

I just updated to Kalium 1.6 and all the newest Plugins. The issue persists. And I think it is rather a VC/Kalium issue. The revolutionslider works well as you can see here: http://paintedbynature.ch/testslider/ This page is created without VC.
But all my pages are created with VC and there the thumbnails are not clickable anymore. See here: http://paintedbynature.ch/neuseeland-europa-pano-diashow/ Any idea?
