I bought two months ago the Kalium Theme. You posted a new update of this theme, and I have just download it. Could you tell me the step to follow to install this theme into my wordpress without loosing the work I have done on it please? I am using a child theme of Kalium. Do I have to install it with Filezilla?

Go to Admin Panel > Revolution Slider select the slider you use and click the wrench icon to go to Settings, when you get in the new page scroll down to the Custom JavaScript and delete everything in that field.

Hi,
everything works fine except when I change the colors at “Theme Styling” / “Custom Skin Builder”. It worked 2-3 times but now The changes didn’t show up on the page. Every other change I do works fine.

I see you’re using the Visual Composer inside the portfolio post type, the Visual Composer works only on pages and not in portfolios, blog posts or any other post type.

I am really getting to the end of my new website, there are just some CSS things left wich I couldn’t figure out by myself:

2. I created a footer in the theme options and put the following inside for the footer right text:

This brings up what you can see in my screenshot. So can I get rid of the gap between the link and the rest of the text?
3. This link in the footer has a green underlining on mouse over. The rest of my page hast the standard black underlining of the agency template. Could you help me to change this?
4. I have the footer activated to display. Now I would like to have the footer displayed on every page but NOT on the starting page. Is this possible?
5. I have the problem in Internet Explorer and in Edge that all the links like here:

are underlined properly by on mouse over, but if you take the curser away, the underlining gets huge up to the right page end. In Chrome, etc. it works awesome.

I am glad that you’ve put things close to the end. Here are my answers to your questions:
1. Add this Custom CSS to remove name and email underline:
.contact-form .col-sm-6 .form-group .placeholder {

2. For this, just apply this CSS:
.main-footer .footer-links .right-side a {

background-color: #000;
}
3. The above code will change it to black underline as well.
4. Yes that is possible with custom css as well, here apply this one:
body.home.page footer.main-footer {
display: none;
}
5. I am not sure about this one, because I don’t have Internet Explorer installed on my computer, but please give a try at this fix (custom CSS):
.portfolio-holder .thumb > a:after,
.portfolio-holder .thumb .hover-state.hover-style-white h3 a:after {
display: none;

2. You can try if this fixes it:

I updated Wordpress on my website and now I am having issues with my front page. The Revolution Slider doesn’t show up and the layout has been altered to overlap in all sorts of odd ways at the top.

You are using an old version of our theme (1.5.1) and the latest version for the moment is (1.5.2), please update theme first.
The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins
you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure
Then don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

Thanks for the quick reply! I used the Envato Toolkit and updated my theme and it gave me version 1.5.2, but I see the most recent version is 1.6. The Envato Toolkit is not giving me the option to update to 1.6.
What should I do?

You can try now to update to the latest version of the theme, we did a mistake and it was showing that the 1.6 version was available but it wasn’t, now you can update the theme and you will get this version which we uploaded yesterday evening (CET).

To create a portfolio page is really easy, first create a sample page you want to use it for portfolio and then set the Page Template to portfolio, create new portfolio items and it’s done, Kalium is the simplest and one of the easiest theme to use, you have the description for everything in the Theme Options.

After an update to the latest version of wordpress and update to the latest version of Kalium, Visual Composer cannot be updated. I get the message:”update not available” I used the invite toolkit. Found the API key. All seems to work fine. Just not Visual composer. Please tell me hoe to solve this.

Still unable to use visual composer and get error message when I try to update visual composer with your instructions.
It sends me to activation page and I get error message saying invalid purchase. My theme says visual composer is included and I don’t need to purchase this separately.

Right. Although the install plugins tab isn’t under Appearance rather it is under Plugins tab. I install and input the username, API key, and purchase code from themeforest Kadium and it doesn’t work. Only visual composer…
I get an error saying “invalid” license. My theme Kalium comes with visual composer but in the plugins it requests license credentials.

I have had this question before, and also have had this case happening in my site also, see here:
http://demo.kaliumtheme.com/main/masonry-portfolio/variant-3/The way Masonry algorithm works is called “packery” and packs the items based on gaps, by breaking the order in some cases. So the best way to add products would be to add masonry shortcode for each row, not single masonry for all the rows. That way you will add a row of items, then create new masonry element, add other elements and so on for each row. It is more painful but brings better results.

I have updated to 1.6 and i´ve noticed the masonry portfolio has been improved, finally I could fit the last row but I still having issues with sorting the items.The order in the backend is no corresponding with the frontend. No big deal, but keep in mind. Thanks for the support, shortly I will ask more questions about other aspects of the theme. Regards
