Hello, I am very interested in purchasing. But I wonder if I just buy the template, once installed, it will be identical, with all the features seen in the demo? without any extra plugin that costs extra value? I would like to install stayed the same as in the live preview will be? with Google Maps, the property index side of the map, etc?

Everything in demo is included with theme options or plugins included. Exception is the IDX menu – which explains that those pages are created to showcase how we created support for dsIDXpress plugin – and that’s paid separately plus has separate features.
The demo has to be setup to look like one of our demos – but we offer free support for demo setup if our help is not enough.

Thank you for the comment. Theme default currency can be changes to what you wish. But we have 1 currency default only.
We only have Stripe, PayPal or wire transfer. Any additional merchant would require custom development.

Thank you for the comment. We use only 1 search function for search except search type 2 which has different fields when used in other page than search results or half map.
You’d need to create 2 different search management areas and this is not something we could guide you to do because it’s a complex change.

I don’t know if this is something we can guide you to do since we never did this change. it’s very possible we can’t since it’s the kind of change we’d have to do to know all the steps. However, even if you change the design layout, search is still 1.

As more people in the comments were confronted with the problem’s of using sub-categories, we also are stuck with the only effectively working option you give us, that is to only use top-level categories (cause of the other drawbacks you explained here).
But we need to split all commercial/business properties from all consumer properties (like ‘homes’, ‘apartments’), and in the search, it looks like everything is piled up all the same in the dropdown, because we cant (effectively) use ‘hotels’/’offices’/’restaurants’ as subcategories for ‘Business properties’ and ‘houses’/’apartments’/’condos’ as subcategories for ‘Consumer properties’.
Since we now have to use all top-level categories, cant you at least setup the category dropdown in the search like this theme does it here. If you click on “Listing type” in the searchblock (on the map, left), you will see that there are clickable categories, but divided by unclickable sections-words in bold in the dropdown… like ‘education’ for example.
In its html code that almost looks like the ‘optgroup’ html code in html dropdowns like explained here: w3schools Optgroup
Such a divider would be a great solution for at least a better user-experience in search dropdowns.
Cant you at least take this into your theme-code?
So that toplevel categories might show in the dropdowns like this:
Consumer properties (unselectable)
- houses (63)
- apartments (35)
Business properties (unselectable)
- offices (56)
- hotels (2)
- industry (4)

I don’t know if the topic explained this clearly.
The only problem with sub-categories is that you have to make sure you attach only 1 category to each property.
You can show parent and child in dropdowns but you’d have to give up the count that shows next to each category as parent will show 0 properties while child will show the number of properties attached to category (wordpress feature).
Disabling parent category as in example makes sense – but that’s a totally different field example. I don’t know if that’s possible to implement with our theme.

Yes im aware of that (1 category per property)... the thing is that we don’t want to give up the count that shows next to each category. Which forces us to use top-level categories only… cause of the wrong count in parent-categories.
So, thats why im searching for at least something that can (at least) visually divide the commercial and consumer categories from each other.
there also must be a way to load only all commercial categories and show all on the map.. kind of a ‘commercial properties’ listing directory… but then we’d need to use parent-categories, and then the problem with the wrong count still exist, which makes that impossible.
Anyway..thats the problem.

Found POSSIBLE SOLUTION!! (?)
By the way, i’ve looked into wordpress and it says the way to have parent-categories load the right count (including all child-categories counts), is to use the ‘hierarchical’-parameter and(/or) the ‘pad_counts’-parameter!!! —> You can create different membership packages that will show in user dashboard. Each package can have a different expiration date.

His account will reset to Free Membership (if he used the free listings he can’t use again. And he will have to buy a package to submit. But he can still login.

And in search you can use that field to look for properties date bigger or date smaller than that date. But it’s 1 date per property.

I don’t know which version you have. You can copy the original code from the original theme you downloaded from theme forest (same page template). If you don’t have that original version – please open a ticket here – support.wpestate.org, tell me what original php template you wish and from what version and I will send it to you.

This implies creating something custom (API does auto import or export) and this tool would have to be built based on the technical documentation of the other website. It’s a very complex change. You’d need to work with a developer who has experience with the 3rd party technical documentation you wish to work with (to know if it’s possible in first instance).
—> In our theme clients use WP ALL IMPORT to import and xml orcvs feed. They have a free addon for WP Residence theme.
—> I know they have a beta export tool. You may be able to export an xml feed (didn’t test to know for sure). But if it works or not, this has to be tested.

We don’t have such an export system (XML link). As said above, this is the beta export plugin I know of https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-all-export/
It can export custom posts + custom fields. But I don’t know if it will work. Has to be tested. If you do the test and you wish to follow up with me on results, please let me know how it went.

Question 1: I have problem changing the border color of the menu. Regarding Question 2, My question is still not addressed. I already have the shortcode for the pricebox in place. When a registered user clicks on a “order now” button, it loads demo.site.com/package/gold and this is EMPTY, but I suppose the stripe payment components should be on the link’s page.

The actual payment link redirect is integrated only in our user dashboard. If you need to integrate the same behavior somewhere else – I don’t know if we can guide you to make this code yourself. For sure it’s not a link url, but an actual JS trigger implemented according to Stripe API.
I can ask my colleagues to give you the details of where we have now the implementation for the payment button link and hopefully you can use the info to modify the theme further.

So if a client searches by Manhattan and he gets to results page, featured properties based on this search criteria is listed first. 2. What happens with the listings after the membership expired? Will it be automatically deleted or ..?

I can tell you the function that does this in front end. If the plugin you use to import supports it and if you’re comfortable making wordpress changes to add this admin (but these may be overwritten during updates) you can try it. Unfortunately it’s the only way. —> Also this means you add the property to Agent Responsible and to User responsible in admin – edit property.

—> User can see these expired properties in user dashboard.
