I’m sorry for bringing this up again and again, but the reason I bought this theme months ago was because you were going to included the Photography template in version 1.2 that was 6 months ago.. 1.7 is here 6 months later and still nothing. I wished you were more real about it :/

I am really sorry to disappoint you on this! We are trying every time to make Kalium better and better.
The reason behind this postponement was because of security issues on Kalium plugins, bugs and other critical fixes that made the theme more stable, this way we weren’t able to develop the photography feature.
We are hoping to release the photography site in the next month (first half), so if we don’t release that update, we will fully refund you.

I uploaded my custom logo but it is still showing the ARCH logo. Also, when I click on it or “home” it takes me to the preview pages.

I’m using the Full Background Menu and I would like to know if their is an easy way to add the word “Menu” in all letters to the right of the hamburger icon and to inherit it of all the hamburger icon specifications (click, position fixed…)(And if it’s possible, working on desktop, tablet and mobile).

Does anyone know how to make the individual blog posts display without the photo appearing as a big banner across the top of the page? I have set up my Kalium site to be super-minimal, without any banner photos on any pages — and the Kalium theme seems to allow that on all its layouts, except blog posts. Ideally, it would be great if I could have a blog post look like my portfolio post, with no banner, and with the heading and text on the left side of the page, and the image on the right side. Any ideas?

What I would like to do is make my blog posts look more like my portfolio posts. Here is a typical portfolio post on my site:

I am able to do this with all the different page layouts, except for my blog posts. Here is a link to a blog post on my site, with the default layout featuring a big, cropped image in a banner at the top (in other words, this layout is not what I want):

Is there a way to make the layout of my blog posts more like my portfolio posts — in other words: with no banner image at the top; with type on one side; and with a smaller, un-cropped image on the other side?

If you want to remove featured images on blog you can remove featured image or do it with CSS, just add the code below to Custom CSS

2— We use Font Awesome fonts.

Hi. I’ve created my site with your theme. All worked well. Also for Mobile I did some tweaks. All still worked well. Iv’e added a revolution slider, applied custom CSS, and all still worked well.
But now when I resize my browser window, or view the website on mobile (Chrome & Safari), a lot of CSS customisation is not visible (adjustment in: text color, alignment, font awesome icons, stuff like that). A day before everything was fine.
I’ve updated the theme, but I thought the update messed the whole thing up, so I’ve put back version 1.6.1. via FTP. But the problem still occurs. I’ve deleted the code from revolution slider, but still the problem occurs.
I’m out of ideas.
Anything else I’ve missed? Is there a CSS code I can add to (maybe every) rule?

Hi, the url is http://www.chrisvandiemen.nl/ I’ve made no adjustments in PHP, just added additional CSS (in the Custom CSS box, and in the custom CSS boxes of the Revolution Slider.)
I’ve made a text red on the about page (‘Chris’), for you to see. And if you resize the window, the text becomes grey. No rules of @media are applied on this text. Another place where you can see the difference is on the icons (normally a Font Awesome Heart, but I changed it into a star). Again, when resizing the window, or when viewed on mobile, the icon switches back to the main Kalium setting. @media CSS is applied on the footer, but again that code adjustment is not visible on smaller screens.
It looks like it skips the CSS code on smaller screens (1024 and below). Which is weird, because three days ago, everything worked fine. Do you need to see the added CSS code?

Hmm this is strange, it looks like you have forgot to close any { or } and you have put those CSS codes on the media element.

Hello, I have a problem installing it. There is no way to upload the zip file. I’ve already watch the tutorial of how to install, I follow the instructions but when I select the zip file and it begins to upload suddenly stops and say something like: “are you sure you want to do it? Please try again”. What can I do to solve it? Thanks
Most likely your web server is configured with PHP settings that are too low to allow the theme ZIP file to upload. Specifically, PHP is configured to a maximum file upload size limit at 8 megabytes or less. The theme ZIP is about 9.5 megabytes in size. Thus, the web server is rejecting the upload. WordPress is giving you a rather ambiguous message in response. This is not a theme fault or bug.
There two ways to solve this problem.
1— You can either get your web host to increase your PHP limits.
2—You can upload your theme via an FTP client.
Recommended PHP configuration limits are as follows:
max_execution_time 180
memory_limit 128M
post_max_size 32M
upload_max_filesize 32M

Hi,
i’ve upgrade from 1.5.2 to 1.7.2, but the featured image disappeared from all portfolio pages. Looking into the html, the divs and links are there, but with size 0, so is not displayed.
If I remove manually from chrome inspector the class “image-placeholder arel-1” from the span tag around the featured image it shows up.
I’ve reverted to 1.5.2 for now.
Any hint?

You don’t need to use any mobile plugin for the theme, it is responsive and works fine on any mobile device, as you see it is loading a complete different site in your mobile phone. Also we wont be able to give support for 3rd party plugins.
