I tried using the purchase code to register and it won’t work for me.

Hi there

Please check our help file on how to register your product -> https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/getting-started/how-to-register-your-purchase/ – and be sure to have followed the instructions carefully.

In addition to that, if you are certain your Themeforest purchase code and username are correct, please try by regenerating your Themeforest API key -> https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/getting-started/generate-themeforest-api/

If that still does not help for some reason, please create a support ticket using the link below and we will check into this for you

Submitting a ticket would be great if the support team didn’t have bankers hours. Seems like the only way to get any(timely) help out of the Theme-Fusion team is to comment on here.

I thought that Avada would be an easy-to-use actionable theme but it’s not the case at all. I’m at this moment burning so much hours trying to learn how to use it. I’d like to get refund.

Hello,

I’m sorry for the frustrating experience. If you’d like to get a quickstart for the website you’re building, you can import one of the demos and get a head start. This way, you’ll simply have to edit the content and replace it with your own set of text and images. Give https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/demo-content-info/import-xml-file/ a read. :)

You can also contact our support any time at http://theme-fusion.com/support/ for any of your how-to questions and we will be happy to help.

If you don’t change your mind, you can request a refund by contacting Envato Support at https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us as they deal with distribution and payments.

Thanks!

I have tried 3 times to create a ticket in your support system – https://theme-fusion.com/support/, and every time my ticket dissapears. It´s really not much help. Please provide me with an email or check your system. I need to get in touch with support

Well, it seems my tickets has been created after all, but I cannot see them in my ticket history under my profile. Very strange..

Hello,

Your ticket was replied to 3 hours ago with only one remaining in the queue. It will be replied to ASAP.

Hello,

You can setup a wordpress multisite by following the instructions available here: https://theme-fusion.com/avada-multisite-setup/ and import each demo in a separate file.

For demo import instructions, please read our documentation https://theme-fusion.com/support/documentation/avada-documentation/

Is it possible to make a system of filters for categories such as blog posts for the portfolio?

Hello,

Unfortunately, this is not possible right now and will require major customizations to add filter support to blog categories.

Thanks!

Hi

I’ve got a few queries on the functionality of the Google Maps element: 1) Can you have different text coming up in the map marker bubble than the address location? e.g. have a postcode as the address in the element but display text such as ‘Visit the museum’ in the text bubble on the map. 2) Can you enter specific long/lat values for the address to display precise location? Would this then be the text in the bubble on the map? 3) Can you disable the text bubble on the map from displaying? 4) Can the text bubble and/or the map marker have a link attached to it?

Thanks, Mark

Hello,

1. Yes, you can, use the Infobox Content field and read the description for it.

2. Yes, you can, read the description of the address field.

3. You cannot permanently disable the text bubble.

4. You can add a link inside the infobox content but not on the address pin.

Thanks!

Thank you. Note to self; must look through all the available options before I post to you! Sorry!

You’re most welcome.

Yes, please give descriptions a read and also refer to our documentation available at https://theme-fusion.com/support/documentation/avada-documentation/ :)

how to insert iframe code in footer

Hello,

You can use contact form 7 and an addon that integrates a newsletter service into contact form 7. After that, simply use the shortcode for contact form 7 in the footer.

Thanks!

Hi there

Please go ahead and try this extension for that purpose -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7-mailchimp-extension/

Thank you

Is it possible to make the texts in 2 text boxes to be of the same length?

E.g. Title: “ABC” Text: “DEFG”

Hello,

I’m sorry but I will need more info to help with your query. Can you give me an example with a screenshot?

Thanks!

Apologies! Here’s the link to the screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BytdxJ8BZGtSRUNaVTBrbFBxTEU/view?usp=sharing

Basically I’m trying to achieve 2 things within the page section:

1. Align the title height and text height so that they are of the same length 2. Reduce the gap between the text and the image – i’m currently using 2 columns (1/2 + 1/2). Is there a code that i can use to reduce the padding on just a size (in this either the right of the left column, or the left of the right column).

Kindly advise.

Many thanks for your help! Alvin

Hi Alvin,

1 will not be possible because that is custom text and even if you add letter spacing or size it down to match, it wont stay that way at all screen sizes.

2 can be done and depends on how you are setting it up. Please submit a ticket for us so our support team can assist you.

Incoming pre-purchase questions

to make headings

A couple of questions if you can answer whenever you’ll have some time available because I really like your theme:

1. I’m a WP beginner and I see that the application is really not that difficult to manage if you practice and with all the material available everywhere online. Do you confirm then that the Avada theme can be handle by a WP beginner in this way to achieve a modest intermediate level? I have already lost some serious cash with a dumb-ass developer:cry: and at this precise moment I have decided to take matters into my hands.

2. Can you please name the plugins not included once I purchase this theme and upload the demo for the Avada classic? Or if you have a list somewhere if you can share the link where I can see this matter? I really like the design but would like to know the extend of what I’ll get on the demo installed.

3. Do you confirm that polylang works OK with this theme? I already read on the online documentation that you have a forum for this feature.

4. Does the theme comes with a child theme zip file or do I have to create it? Probably in the future I’m thinking to add changes that could involve coding and I have read here navigating in Envato to start working with the child theme from the beginning in this case for my project.

5. Is it possible to integrate to this theme a newsletter feature on the footer? Maybe using a plugin for this matter?

6. Is it possible to change the footer and place instead of recent posts, recent tweets and recent work and put the newsletter feature there along with the about us, FAQ, Privacy, etc.?

Many thanks in advance for the assistance.

Pablo

Hi Pablo!

1. Yes you get all the home pages. They are all built using our Fusion Builder (page builder) so you can copy content from one to another and make your own, or build one from scratch :)

2. Yes for sure, import the Classic Demo to get that setup.

3. Yes it will be imported with the Classic demo.

Thanks!

Bro, thanks again for your time. Just too many interesting features to play with and they’re all just right there on the screen. Hope I can really pull this thing through with my actual knowledge of WP. Let the Avada journey begin!!!

Welcome to Avada community. :) Good luck!

Hi,

Congrats for the theme. I buy it 2 times, Dont used for ecommerce but i love it! Now i need another theme for a online shop that’s going to have more then 4000 products.

1. its possible the sidebar shop page and category shop page to have filters products? Ex. filter by “color”, “size”, “price”, .......

2. Can avada manage with so many products? If it does, is there an avada theme shop with so many products that i can see?

Thanks!

Tiago

Hello!

Yes there is a filter widget in Woocommerce that you can use in Avada.

Yes the amount of products shouldn’t be a problem. The thing is that the products are database driven and handled by WordPress mostly. So technically products work similar to posts, and there are sites out there with 10th of thousands of posts. We showcase the shop on our classic live demo (http://theme-fusion.com/avada), but of course only with a few products as it is only a demo.

ThemeFusion Team

Hi,

Is it possible to vertically align text in a fusion builder text element please?

Thanks,

Ian

Hello!

Vertical alignment (centering) can only be done inside of column shortcodes at the moment. You can set the centering param and then all content in the colummn will be vertically centered.

I hope that helps.

ThemeFusion Team

Good Afternoon,

First of all thank you for creating such a great theme. We are on our 37th license and plan on purchasing many more. Today we are using the Lifestyle Demo and for some reason when we change the copywrite text in the footer section of the Theme Options where we always do it is not changing form the Avada Theme by Theme Fusion text as it usually does. Is there somewhere else that this has to be changed in the Life Style Demo?

Nevermind, we just found the setting in the footer widget area.

Great that you found it and it works for you :)

Hi! I have a long main menu with 12-13 menu items. If the screen or the browser window is not wide enough to display all the menu items the menu will have 2-3 rows with logo and menu items which looks bad. Also when sticky menu appears instead of the menu with more rows it collapses and the menu items are not on the right place ( please see my site: http://www.tandemugras.hu ). I reproduced the same problem on iPad mini in landscape, however there is no such problem in portrait as the mobile menu icon comes up instead of the long main menu. Could you please let me know which css do I need to add or change, or what else do I need to do in order to make the main menu switch to the mobile version earlier as soon as the screen or the browser window is not wide enough to show the whole main menu in one row? Thanks in advance!

Hello!

If you are on Avada 3.8.7, you can find this option in Theme Options > Header: http://d.pr/i/H6w4 It lets you define when the site becomes responsive. In our next update we will give you even more flexibility, which will let you tackle exactly your problem nicely.

ThemeFusion Team

Thanks for the help. I had an older version, so I did not know about that… It is a great option!

Hello,

Glad you were able to find a solution.

Thanks :)

Great theme! I just purchased it, but I was wondering: I’ve seen a lot of request for blog filtering with your response as it being a possible add going back at least a year. Have you started to develop this feature?

Hello!

No this has not been added. Too much other stuff we desperately wanted to add during the last year :) But we hope you will enjoy Avada nevertheless :)

ThemeFusion Team

Hi, can I use a shortcode (or any other method) to show the Portfolio categories on the sidebar? Just the categories, and not the whole “Recent Works” Portfolio.

Thank you!

Hello!

Currently this is not an option. But there are plugins in the official WordPress repository for custom post type widgets, which will allow you to show the cats of any post type.

heay guys. my site is online now. i also registered it on google and generated a google maps api key. where do i enter the google api key? i red i have to register my maps to google for legal reasons.

thx, sebas

Hello!

This will just depend on the number of map requests on your site. By default google maps is free and API calls don’t need to be registered. If there is too much traffic on your site the unregistered API calls just won’t work for a certain amount of time, and then you can register (and pay) for more traffic servic But that is all.

ThemeFusion Team

Just to make sure.. So I can have a menu that differs if you’d go to different pages or sections of the website? I would love to combine work and fun on my website, but I would like users to choose whether they would like to go to the ‘work’ section, and thus get a specific menu that matches that… or to the fun section, and get a specific menu matching that. I also might want to add in a shop section (again with a matching menu). Would that be possible?

Hello!

You can have a different menu per page. You can easily create WordPress menus and assign any of them to a page via a simple dropdown in the page options.

We hope you decide to join the largest theme community out there :)
