Hi, I’m working on a quick project for a client. I’m almost done with it however. Suddenly menu item hover effect become a perminant thing. So a has bottom border now for some reason.
I found the code that causes it.

I’m still struggling with the issue. I deleted all the extra plugins. I reinstalled the theme after deleting it. This issue only happens on the main page. I change the front page to some other thing the actual main page was fine and new test page got that problem.
Let me know, if you can find the solution.
I had to alter the actual theme files. I hope you can find a solution or get rid of all that unnecessary class:pseudo on the next update.

So you have fixed this problem? I remember that an other user who created One-Page layout with Kalium had this issue, but he solved this by removing one third party plugin (plugin that don’t come with our theme), but unfortunately i can’t remember it’s username now.

I fixed it buy changing Kalium.css. However, every update I have to change that css file again which is defeating the purpose of having a child theme or custom CSS.

Thank you for this theme. I installed the demo content (agency) and I love it, it fits perfect with our concept.
I only have a few questions that I havent been able to figure out myself or find and answer in the discussion (comments). I hope you can help me with that.
1. I’ve installed the blog page as my homepage, is it possible to add a revolution slider above the blog posts? Or do I need to make a different page, I have tried that but then the design doesn’t show properly. This is the website regarding www.theviewconcepts.com
2. I read it is possible to change the hover icon (of the blog posts masonry). Now it is a static eye I would like to change in to binoculars (http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icon/binoculars/) . I read somewhere in the comments that I have to send a message to you so that so that you can give me a code to put in the custom css? Could you please do that
3. In the theme options section, blog settings it is possible to sort the posts by categorie but only in the sidebar (left/right). Is it possible to position the sidebar above the tiles/thumbnails. As it looks with the portfolio page (design/print etc).
4. My concepts (portfolio items) don’t link anymore (I changed the time so they would come in the right order so maybe that is the problem) could you please tell me how I can solve this? example; http://www.theviewconcepts.com/portfolio/de-kaaij/

That is happening because you image is very slow, and the featured image is planned to use only big images.
We currently don’t have a solution for the users who want to use very small images, but we will see if we can do something about this on the next updates.

I’m in need of a bit of assistance with some custom CSS, I can write CSS and I’ve managed to make most of the additions/changes I need to but I can’t seem to get the background that I’ve set for the footer to ‘fit to width’ or have ‘100%’ width.
Please can you amend the CSS so that the chosen image is set to full width?

1— That is happening because the last menu item has submenus, so if you leave the last menu without submenus it will appear correct.
I just wrote this as a bug on our to-do list and we will try to fix this on the next updates
2— You just need to declare google font from the Slider settings.

Here in the left you can see my page scroll, it is grey. And in the right you can see your demo page, where a page scroll is black and thin.

That scroller is not part of our theme, that scroller appears only when you live preview our demo, so if you press X button, close to “Get this theme” it will be removed.

First of all, it’s a really great theme you did, thank you! I have three issues/questions though
First thing, when I am creating a page, and then I want to add a picture, or add Media Grid, Wordpress propose to open the picture (or does it automatically with Media Grid) with “PrettyPhoto”... I do not want this lightbox, but want to have the same one that is used in the rest of my website, the one packed with your theme: Nivo Lightbox. How can I do that?
Second question, I am also using WooCommerce (and I started my website importing “Kalium Store” demo content. The problem is that with the products already existing or even with new products (simple products, grouped…), the “add to cart” button is simply not present. Even if I check the source code of the page, nothing is hidden, it is simply not here

1. In which page does prettyPhoto appear? If you are in product page, then what you need to do is go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products, then choose Display tab and in the end uncheck the Lightbox feature. This may help you with that. Otherwise send me the url of current page so I can see where is the issue.
2. Very strange about this! I need to test this in admin area so can you please email us your WP credentials.

Hmm this is so strange, it looks like you have problem with your font-icons loading.
I searched for any error from your console and i found this error:
Font from origin 'http://karenbrummund.com' has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://www.karenbrummund.com' is therefore not allowed access.
So i searched on google for this error and i found those two links, link 1 and link 2.
Can you please read them, we hope that you can find help from there. If you don’t find any help then please just write yo your hosting provider and we think that thy can fix your issue easily.

Thank you for the links. Neither process solved the problem. Does it have to do with the settings for an “absolute” header on the homepage? It is the only place I used that setting. And I did it in order to get the rev slider to show thru the menu.
Also, my host provider did re-check the domain and could not find a misconfiguration.
I don’t know if this information helps or not, but I was trying to find another way. So I put a button in the center of the rev slider that is set to only show up on a mobile. I cannot get it to show up on my phone. If I make the button visible on a desktop, then it works. This was just a temporary change because I would prefer to the mobile header to work correctly. thank you for working on this.

Hello thanks for the Theme I am liking it a lot. One question, when I am adding portfolio items and I choose different layout options (say Carousel) and I try to “Add New” to gallery it does nothing when I click the button. Help??

I think that you must choose your preferred layout first, then press update, and then options will appear.
When you change layout (after you have put projects on any other layout earlier) they can be deleted, or not show correctly. So we prefer you to choose your desired layout first, and then keep that layout.

Hello!
The theme is looking beautiful, I wondered if you could help me on a small detail though please. I’m using the Kalium Store template and have ‘Main image with thumbnails below’ selected for the product pages in the Shop Settings. Now, when I click on the thumbnails to change the main image, a lightbox pops up with the image as well as changing the main image, and I can’t see an option to switch this function off. Please can you help?

Sure I can do that. What I suggest you is, if you purchase a webfont you will need to upload them somewhere different than the path of theme because when its update you will loose changes, so lets say you upload your purchased font in
http://your-domain.com/fonts/font-name/Then there should be a .css file for example font.css, copy that in URL:
http://your-domain.com/fonts/font-name/font.cssThen go to Kalium > Theme Options > Typography
and set in in Custom Font (for both Primary and Headings) as shown here:

Another bug I’ve noticed. The mobile menu font’s are different than the default heading fonts I set in my theme options. I have Lato as my heading font. In the desktop nav it takes on Lato, but when you switch to mobile it uses the default body font which is Merriweather. Any way to set them both to use the same font easily without custom CSS? Also noticed that widgets weren’t showing up on my mobile nav like they were desktop. Is this intentional or a bug? http://take.ms/39OR7
