They can’t be imported on Demo Content.

The ones you want to display in your site are not available for users, these are just for the demo view to see what you can do with the theme and the users will get the result you have now, for other extra menus and features you will need to add them manually.

On visual composer assign a class to that row for example my-custom-row, then add this Custom CSS in that page (Page Options > Custom CSS):

wp-content/themes/kalium/assets/images/icons/map/cd-icon-location.svg

You can change the color there, or you can assign custom image marker, that would work best. Image markers can be set for each marker:

To make default portfolio page as homepage follow these steps:

1. Add new Page

2. Choose template “Portfolio Page”, add page title and save

3. Go to Settings > Reading and set the page you have created as Portfolio Page

This should work for you.

So the index page is currently http://nils-franke.com/ – which is as instructed as above, but i’d like to make one of the portfolio items the index page. i.e http://nils-franke.com/portfolio/to-and-from-vienna

I suggest you to delete the theme folder via FTP, go to wp-content/themes/ and delete folder named “kalium” there.

Then try to install again, and if it fails then upload theme files manually (extract kalium.zip and upload kalium/ folder in wp-content/themes/)

Kalium will be updated regularly, we will not stop making it better and better, you will see changelog what we have changed when we release the updates.

When the update it’s ready you will receive an email if you have enabled “Get notified by email if this item is updated” from your Downloads tab.
