In portfolio item you should assign Featured Image for each portfolio item in order for them to be displayed on the page.

Also do not forget to choose “Portfolio” page as page template for that page. Also there may be a specific post containing slug “portfolio” and this breaks the page in some cases.

The blog widget is showing fine, except for the unstyled so add this JavaScript in Theme Options > Footer , Custom JavaScript Field:

Arlind, Thank you for your help. I’ve tried adding widgetised sidebars, but there’s no room in Visual Composer to place it on the side of the page. Also, nothing is showing up.

I’ve tried adding featured images to blog posts, and they’re still not showing up.

Whenever I open a blog post, it takes me to a place that has the link structure MaxFoley.com/post-name. I’d like it to be .com/page-category/post-name.

Also, I’d like there to be a sidebar in blog posts themselves. There must be a way to set styles so that every post has it, without me needing to insert a Widgetized Sidebar every time.

As for my portfolio, I’ve tried what you suggested. However, featured images aren’t allowing the posts to be displayed. Carousels are also not showing up in portfolio items.

Is there a way in which we can discuss support in real time, on Skype or via phone? I’m having a lot of trouble making this theme respond in the way I’d like it to. Let me know.

It would be better if you could send us an e-mail with your login credentials and I would try to manage it somehow from the backend.

Try adding this to the Settings > Permalinks Custom Structure to make your URLs like that:

/%category%/%postname%/

There cannot be a sidebar on single posts, we don’t have this feature now but we are planning to add it in the upcoming updates.

That is happening because you have very long Logo (name).

To fix that just go to Custom CSS on the WP Dashboard and paste this code:

Firstly thank you for kind words, really pleased to hear them.

After checking your site and analyzing the current code on single post I’ve found out that the_content() is being called only once. So the plugin you are using may be called twice during post rendering.

You can ask the plugin developer to see if they have made a mistake on that. Because if you have put the shortcode only once in post, and its being shown two times, then the developer of Facebook comments must be notified. For your instance I suggest you to switch to any of default wordpress themes and see if this issue is happening. If the same thing is happnening with other theme them the plugin is responsible for that issue.

Sir the issue occurs on two distinct plugins (from diferent developers) “wp-fb-share-like-button” and “comments-from-facebook” – and before i’ve even considered asking for spport i’ve tested the plugins on the default wordpress themes but they do not act as on “Kalium” theme. Also to replicate the bug i’ve edited the Kalium functions.php and added to the end the following: function testme($content) { global $post;$original = $content;$content = “this-is-a-test”;$content .= $original;return $content;} add_filter( ‘the_content’, ‘testme’ ); and the it’s the same result, “this-is-a-test” is shown twice on pages that are have selected “Video” of “Audio” Format type, but on regular posts the string is printed only once. – only when choosing Quote, Image , Link, Gallery and Standard the add_filter( ‘the_content’ works properly (chiritamarian.ro/13-virtuti-ale-lui-benjamin-franklin)

Please advise.

I fixed it by disabling the Jetpack plugin, it was causing some problems with the theme scripts, which were blocking the images from showing.

What’s the problem with the menu, I checked it and it seems to be okay, it loads fine and the links all work.

ok but I would like to use 1- jetpack, but you are saying it does not work with your template together, is that right? and about 2- menus the one on the right top corner, and the links with in that i does not work, when you select Portfolio nothing shows, also 3- when you select to see the map the map does not work I place Frankfurt am Main coordinates 3 times but it never saves this.. so and plus non of the portfolio items I created are showing, should I have to create pages for them? 1. Currently there is no support for this plugin, it will cause many problems with the theme, we will try to fix this in the upcoming versions.

2. I just checked this again, in three different devices and it worked fine, the portfolio shows the portfolio items.

3. You will need to remove the extra characters like ° E from the latitude and longitude, then it will work fine, I fixed this for you now so you can see it.

Partially. The recent posts since I started using Kalium are ok, but the posts from before I started using Kalium, do NOT show in the stream, but DO show on the individual post…

You are using an old version of our theme (1.3.1) and the latest version for the moment is (1.7.2), please update theme first.

The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure

Then don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

I’ve searched thorugh theme files to find this script but didn’t found any part of this code incorporated in our theme.

I think that there is a plugin outputting this code for example “FancyBox for WordPress” may be active so deactivate it and see if it will not output that code anymore.

By default, WordPress jQuery works in noConflict() mode.

Don’t worry about your English, its very good though

1. If you are using JetPack plugin, then please download this file and replace it in this directory: kalium/inc/ folder. It will fix the issue with blog post featured images happening only when JetPack is active.

2. We are not allowed to provide LayerSlider purchase code, that is used only for updates. But each time when there is new version of Layer Slider or any other premium plugin available, we will release new version of the theme so you can update these plugins to their latest version via Appearance > Install Plugins (page).
