I’ll use the Form plug-in called ‘Planso’. However, Error Occurs in this theme.

I’ve restructured the menu by adding a line and am now trying to bold the selected link for the menu. This is so as to make visible what page the viewer is on. It used to be marked by an underline.
I’m having troubles finding the right css. Any suggestions? I’ve tried a:active and it’s not working for some reason. Though other styling I tried for the links works, like on hover for example.

Great thank you. Earlier I added the following Custom CSS to lower the first image on the Side Portfolio.

It now seems to apply to some of the thumbnails, here’s an example.

There is this glitch of repeating certain portfolio items: http://www.salitkrac.com/?portfolio-category=graphic-designIt only happens on the Graphic Design page, before the glitch was happening to another 3 or so thumbnails. Now that that new items have been added, it’s changed what thumbnails the repetition happens.
When I remove all the Custom CSS it fixes the problems. I went through line by line to see what’s causing the problem but can’t find it. Any ideas?
Another question, when I added the line along the bottom of the menu/header, I temporarily removed the line underlining active links by lowering it to hide it. Any ideas on how to remove it properly?

You are using an old version of our theme (1.7.2) and the latest version for the moment is (1.8), please update theme first.
The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins
you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure
Then don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.,

We are constantly expanding portfolio item types with features.
At this point we are implementing two new types of portfolio items (next update v1.8):
“Lightbox” and “Visual Composer” portfolio item.
Lightbox – portfolio item will open portfolio item in Lightbox by just showing the featured image or a gallery of photos inside the portfolio item.
“Visual Composer” – portfolio item will take the advantage of visual composer to build the item layout inside page. So there will be a “freestyle” portfolio item design based on Visual Composer structure you create, this way by allowing you to create very unique portfolio pages.
The other features will be implemented in the upcoming versions.

The name of the fonts can be found in Laborator > Theme Options > Typography, the current font used in the main demo is Karla and can be found in Google Fonts.

Hello Laborator, thank you for building these beautyful Kalium theme.
I build my site under this url: http://www.raeumlichesdenken.com/wp/ and there are some little questions i want to ask you:
1. the browsertab display me the website title two times, i did delete the title then the tab displayed me the url one time, i typed the title again one time, the title is doubled again
2. at navigation between two pages in Safari, the logo disappears for a short time. It seems like the logo would loaded again.
3. i have changed the look and behaviour of the links globaly but in the footer the link react the old way
4. sorry for the last question: i can’t found a way to insert a blog into my site … the only possibility i’ve found is to create a new page and use the visual composer with the provided blog-item but i think that cannot be the right way, or?

You are using an old version of our theme (1.4.5) and the latest version for the moment is (1.7.2), please update theme first.

There is no blog template to set in the page, just create a simple page, name it “Blog” and publish it.
Go to Settings > Reading and set the Homepage to a page and the posts page to the Blog page you just created, this way the posts will be automatically added to that page.

We need again your help. On our website we have created a portfolio page where we present our projects (http://bfj.pt/wp/projetos/), now we have created another secondary portfolio page (http://bfj.pt/wp/projetos/lista-completa-de-projetos-2/outros/) where we intended to publish other different contents. The problem is the portfolio items are the same on both portolio pages, and when we add a new portfólio item it appears on both pages. How can we choose the contents for each one of the portfolios pages?

There is a possibility to create separate portfolio pages with different portfolio items (not the same).
To do this you must create manually a portfolio page, so to create it go to Pages > Add New, then choose “Portfolio Page” template and click Publish/Update button.
Then on Portfolio Settings metabox check Custom Query checkbox from General Settings. Then navigate to Custom Query tab shown immediately after you check this setting and select items you want to show, see this screenshot:

Hi, I bought the Kalium theme and I am quite satisfied. But I got a problem with Jetpack connected. Two portfolios are visible on my dashboard but the portfolio desappears on my website. I tried many thinks like enable or disable Custom Content Types in Jetpack, no result. So maybe there is a problem between the theme and jetpack. Does anybody ever faced this?
Yep, this is a bug that has appeared after the Jetpack plugin update.
We will fix this problem on the version 1.8 of Kalium
When the update it’s ready you will receive an email if you have enabled “Get notified by email if this item is updated” from your Downloads tab.

With regard to my earlier question about videos not displaying on the blog single post page the problem turned out being selecting ‘video’ on the format setting. If I select ‘standard’ all is fine. Have you experienced this behaviour?

The alignment of the footer is just like any other template, you can have a centered and a columned footer design but you can’t manage the columns by dividing them how you want. As I said earlier the only way to do this for now is to edit the theme files, Kalium is a theme which is always on-going with new features and projects so any suggestion is welcome, we will consider making the footer more customizable.

1. To insert a Vimeo/YouTube video go to the blog post and at the very beginning click Add Media, then on the left select Insert from URL, where you need to paste your video URL and insert it into the post.
2. Visual Composer is not supported in blog posts, portfolio items and other post type except the Pages.
3. Please give us a URL of your site and make sure you remove it from the coming soon mode (if enabled)

Hello I have purchased this item and am trying to upload it under my FTP account. It appears the Kalium File is going to take 4 hours to upload as it is 45mb in size. Is this correct or am I only to download a folder within the zip?

When you download files from themeforest you must extract them, there you will have kalium.zip file, upload that file (without extracting) because it takes a lot of time.
The path you need to upload is /wp-content/themes/
Then go to cPanel, open file manager and then head to /wp-content/themes/
See this screenshot:

The problem is just that I still have to scroll to the bottom of the page (past the first 10 items) and then wait for the next 10 portfolio items to load. Is there a way to avoid that interruption and just have all the portfolio items load immediately? So that scrolling down will be seemless?”

Hello everybody,
I think I found a small bug in the woocommerce implementation. The problem is as follows: Please have a look at your Kalium demo site (http://demo.kaliumtheme.com/shop/product/cast-iron-animals/). This is a grouped product. Please select some items and add them to the cart. When you after that proceed to the shopping cart page the thumbnails are much too big (you can compare it by adding a simple product to the shopping cart). This problem only occurs if you exclude the related child products from catalog visibility. Do you think you could find a solution for displaying the thumbnails at the same size as the other product thumbnails even if the child products are hidden? I hope I was clear enough! We are going to fix issues with videos, because we have updated VideoJS library that renders videos on portfolio and elsewhere on the theme.
The update v1.8 will be available later this week on early next week so it should fix your issues, so when you update the theme try again and see if issue is fixed. Actually v1.8 has a lot of features and will solve many issues of the theme.
When the update it’s ready you will receive an email if you have enabled “Get notified by email if this item is updated” from your Downloads tab.
