Hello, We purchased and installed the Theme a few days ago to update an old legacy version (non-responsive). I like that the responsive version uploads as a separate theme. Upon reviewing the new striking responsive theme, we have some problems showing in the nav bars and slider, but more problematically, the act of reviewing the theme causes sidebar and footer widgets to vanish even though responsive is never activated, but just reviewed. I had to restore a backup, as the work involved in building these out from scratch would be substantial. Can you advise as to how we might upgrade to responsive without rebuilding widgets and re-styling thematic elements in slider and nav? Thanks!
HI
Please go to the support forum and creat a thread and provide more details. But be advised that the preview function will not work for a complex theme.
In a situation wherein one wants to confirm functionality (which likely is not an issue give some 15K+ users managed to transition successfully) one is best to export the site into a new development bed, and undertake the full switch in the test bed.
For further assistance please post at the support forum.

Hi, Your theme is great and I am excited to buy and use this, but before installing this theme, I have a question.
can I make a grid layout like http://hamyarwp.com/tutorials ?
Awaiting your reply.
thanks again
Hi John
Thank you for inquiring into Striking MultiFlex.
I believe that grid is accomplished using a plugin (it can be done with Essential Grid from Codecanyon but I think the use is from a competing plugin), but in any case I have to advise that Striking MultiFlex does not have that ability natively.

Thanks for years of detailed craftsmanship, customer support, and continued development. Wonderful!
Hi Mangoman
Your welcome!
Hi, I just noticed our slider isn’t working on an older version of Striking. I was just about to update to 4.4.1 and saw the slider is there but the images don’t appear. I assume it’s the standard NIVO slider that came with the package? It’s not Revolution. Any advice? THX!
Hi
The version of Striking would not matter in respect of the Nivo Slider – it has always worked and I don’t recall any significant bugs in it since theme release.
You don’t have a purchase id, so I cannot provide any further info here. Please register at the support forum using your valid purchase id, and we will see what we can do to assist you on this matter.

I will be building a real estate web site for my client and am interested in purchasing this theme. I’m curious if you know the theme’s compatibility with ihomefinder Optima Express plugin / IDX system. Do you have any example sites of customers using your theme and this plugin combination? Thanks.
Hi K-tizo:
I asked around on our support team, and none of us have heard of any theme users querying us on this plugin. So we cannot provide any guidance on whether it is compatible.
In the past we know some users who have used other idx plugins. The feedback we have received is that they usually even in the default wp they have some additional work to do, either customizing or having to insert some code into the header.php or other files.
I regret that is all I can advise.

Thank you. Would you happen to have a demo or lite version of the theme that would give me the opportunity to test it with Optima Express before buying?
Hi
Can you please send an email to tjf @ thethemebuilders. com
(without the spaces of course which are to deter bots) and provide me your skype contact so we can speak. Skype is free so if you don’t have a skype id, set one up!
Advise in the email your timezone and location as well.

I’am with dificult to enable the revslider. I already imported the demo content, inserted the purchase code, update the plugins… Can u help me please?
HI
Well, without knowing the error you are incurring I am not sure how we can help.
Did you visit the Rev Slider help documentation? Can you provide a url?
You can visit our support forum, we have a thread on the Rev Slider specifically noting common errors users encounter when using the Rev Slider – the slider has global settings that must be set first for example:
Revolution Slider Tips, Settings
I do suggest that you consider registering at the support forum. It is where we provide all support for Striking – the comment thread here at ThemeForest is monitored much less frequently and we don’t work on issues and solutions here.

I gave the 777 code for cache folder too.
Tks. This link fixed my problem. Rev Slider working great.
Hi Sementedesign
Good to hear. I am thinking it was that you needed to enable the global js libraries, one of the most common setup matters for the slider. But whatever it was, glad our tutorial got you on the path to success.

Hi Dear, I can take my money back? How can I do that? I’m so sorry but my employee bought the wrong theme.
Hi
Although buyin Striking MultiFlex can never be considered the wrong theme as it is one of the highest rated, and best supported themes for approaching 6 yrs, in fact we as developers have no control over any aspect of sales or refunds. You would have to contact Envato, but I will advise you now they generally do not refund – its stated right in their terms and conditions.

Hi,
I have a client that is using Striking as their theme. I do have their license number as well. I just updated the theme rather smoothly, thanks to your detailed instructions, to v. 5.3.6. This is the Striking Premium theme.
I wanted to see if I understood what I was reading correctly on my client’s behalf. Are they okay continuing to use Striking Premium, or should they be planning on switching to the Striking MultiFlex version?
I will of course purchase the new version, etc. if it is necessary, but wanted to make sure if this is necessary. Their website is quite complicated, and I am not the original designer. I do, however, want to make sure that they are okay.
Thank you!
Hi Tina
They don’t need to purchase another license. If they either have the original Striking Portfolio theme in use (which is being maintained but is considered deprecated and so updates only occur via our api and currently is at ver 5.3.6), or if they had a development version of Striking MultiFlex, which we termed “Striking Responsive” and they would have received from us directly (via contacting us at the support forum), they can upgrade to MultiFlex free.
We have several threads on updating, at our support forum. If you have their license code, then you can scoot over to the forum, register, and post a thread indicating you posted here, and were told to cross post and provide more info such as the current url.
One of the support team will then reply.
Click on this link Updating to Responsive Instructions and Video to see our original MultiFlex release updating instructions and a video.

Thank you for this James! I’ll head over and see what I need to do.
Take care, Tina
Hey guys.. First let me congratulate you on the awesome success of you themes! Well done! Second, I saw that your theme is missing translations to various popular languages. I could provide you with professional translations at a fair price, since I have a lot of experience with wordpress, for Italian, French and Spanish. Please let me know if you’re interested.
Have a great weekend,
Cristian
Hi Christian
We have translations for 20 languages although some need updating for some newer strings that we have recently added to the theme. Thank you but we have support team members who speak all of the languages you noted, and a great many more, and thus your kind offer of assistance is not required.
Best of luck in your hunt for translation work amongst the authors, most typically get free translations from their users (or they offset with some custom design help) but you might find some takers from authors who don’t have a widespread customer base.

Hey James, thanks for the info and tips. As by pure chance, the first author I’ve contacted required translations and made it into a client. I guess they did not have such a big team as you have. Btw do you have a free spot in your support team? I’ve developed wordpress websites for a few years now and customized the heck of many themes to fit my clients’ needs, but recently business has been slow and I’m opened to other jobs as well. That’s why I’ve started hunting for translation clients since I speak those languages I might just put them to some good use.
Have a great Sunday, Cristian
You can trust kaptinlin when it comes to WordPress moving forward. The team tests out Striking with core updates and announces when it is “ok to go”.
The updater works great but if it does not, they have your back with instructions on manually updating the theme.
It is all very refreshing.
Hi How do I get my rev slider to get to the top behind the menu? So it looks like a transparent header. I tried the transparent header settings but it doesnt work.. tq
Hi StudioFix/tq
Sorry for the delay, we don’t check these comments for support messages often since our support forum is where we provide support.
Please go to the support forum (per the info noted in the Support Tab at the top of these comments) and post your question. One of the support team will assist you with your question.

Hi, a few questions I’d appreciate your response to:
When I try to import your demo content, I just get a never-ending loop and the wheel keeps spinning, I waited ten minutes, my server has ample space to take the theme, I’m using the latest WP 4.4 core.
Is is possible to change the width of the homepage sidebar?
Is it possible to use a background image for the sidebar?
Hi Tassie
Actually all of your questions have been covered in forum threads. We provide our theme support by way of our support forum only (this is noted in the Support Tab near the top of this page).
At the forum we have a header which indicates how to search it most effectively using google.
I suggest you utilize the support forum resource, and post threads if you need additional assistance.
I will advise on the width issue only with custom css but we recommend against that (this is also covered in the forum).
On the sidebar no, it is not – there is a very recent thread on this in fact, within the last 30 days if my memory is correct. In brief the dynamic nature of a sidebar does not allow for a background image in a responsive site. More is explained in the thread.

I have looked through the comments of all the people asking how to center the logo and I followed the steps to center it and it looks great on my computer, however it is messing up the mobile version – it is pushing it to the side on both the computer version (which is what we want) and on mobile (which messes it up).
How do I get the mobile site to ignore the custom css and use the screen.css?
code used:
#logo {
left: auto;
position: absolute;
right: 35%;
}
Hi DesignbyJA
Although I would normally ask you to post on the support forum which I believe you understand is where we supply our theme support I will also supply this information here for the general benefit of potential buyers and existing owners.
Striking MultiFlex has the following default logo positions (also described in the theme documentation Header & Navigation Options section):
a) in full width viewports the logo is left aligned in the header area, and roughly centered vertically b) in the viewport in which you have set your site to commence with mobile navigation (Advanced Panel/Header & Navigation admin tab) the logo centers automatically above the theme mobile navigation.
Thus it first is important to note the log centers automatically via theme coding (css).
Second, as a responsive theme by viewport, when specifying any positional css, one has to restrict that css by viewport otherwise it will have unintended consequences.
This is what is happening to you JA. Your custom css is implementing across all viewports as you did not specify a viewport in which you wish it to apply.
If you visit the support forum, and go to the well known Santa Hat thread which is in the Tutorials Category, we give a full outline on how to implement css by viewports. Undertake such css here.

I’m a little new to specifying the screen size so I was hoping you’d just lay out the code in here (especially for anyone in the future who has the same issue – I search the comments before I ever ask a question; 80% of the time I get the answer I need).
I tried a couple different min/max and decided removing the max width was the best method for me. This now looks correct on my computer and my iPhone; I will check it on my iPad this evening.
@media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
#logo {
left: auto;
position: absolute;
right: 30%;
}
}
Hi
Can you please use the support forum. Your css viewport rule wrapping the logo rule is correct. The logo rule would be tested by one of the support team.

Hi, fantastic theme! I am really impressed with all the functionality.
I would like to know how to change a few of the different woocommerce shop pages. In particular:
Shop / Any category page:
3 column layout instead of 4 – Large thumbnails that are 300 wide and 350 tall, with 10px of padding either side.
Individual Page:
Adding product title above image.
Image full width of content area, with optional height.
other image thumbs below the above.
Then Description and everything else below product image
Thank you in advance for your help, I really appreciate it!
Hi Camwebber
Thanks for the compliments on theme.
Can we please impose upon you to surf over to our support forum, register (takes 5 secs but you need your Themeforest Purchase code so have that handy) and post your questions. The instructions are in the Support Tab at the top of this page.
As well, post your questions separately – the forum is indexed and searchable by google, so posting each question “clean” allows users to search the forum to find answers.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I tried to sign up, but I no longer have access to my certificate code, due to the fact that I made the purchase a fair time ago.
What do you suggest?
Disregard – I found it
Great!
Hi, Our customer has a website built on your theme and he lost purchase code as someone else was buying/installing theme for them.
We can’t register on support forum without the code.
We have following problems after latest upgrade:
Themes images/galleries inserted via editor shortcode not working – they are loading but not working, and when you click on loading icon the popup works:
http://digitimer.com/products/clinical-neurophysiology/transcranial-cortical-stimulators-accessories/d185-multipulse-cortical-electrical-stimulator/The other issue is that serach result page – links to result pages at the bottom are not working, they are just not clickable.
http://digitimer.com/?s=stimulatorsee the bottom of the page and: 1 2 3 4 …>> Last>>
How can we get help with those issues?
Thanks
HI
In respect of the images, please go to the Striking Advanced Panel / Clear Cache setting. Toggle it to the ON position, and then save the panel.
Let us know if that resolves the image issue.
I think you have a plugin conflict in respect of the pagination not working.
Irrespective of how the theme copy was obtained, if the situation was that your client had the website developed by someone else who “supplied” the theme (whether legal or not and from what I can see it may not have been a legal copy) ThemeForest policy is that in a situation where a website owner, and their designer have parted company and it was the latter who supplied the software, the website owner would have to purchase the copy on their own here at the marketplace
So in the end, the client will have to purchase their own license. Given that this will be their only support channel, enables access to updates and we also offer various goodies and promotions from our support site from time to time I would strongly recommend to them that they purchase a license.

Thanks I will ask them to buy a copy of a theme.
Hi,
I uploaded the them, but the rev slider is not showing up in my Wordpress Dashboard. I have removed the theme, re downloaded and the then re-uploaded to themes and still don’t have it.
Can you help please.
Thanks Karen
Hi Karen
As a potentially quick solution, please go to the Slider Show panel, Slidershow General admin tab. One of the settings in this admin tab is to enable the Rev Slider plugin. Toggle it to “ON” and then save the panel.
After saving the panel, you must then refresh your browser (Ctrl + F5 together). Then check to see if the Rev Slider is showing in the wp dash menu. IF not then you will need to go to our support forum and post a thread requesting assistance. We provide all theme support via our Support Forum although perhaps this quick note on settings may resolve it. If it does please advise back so we know the matter is closed.
For any future matters we request you use the support forum, which is monitored all day.

Hi,
How can i change all the font s on the website to Open Sans?
Thanks
Gary
Hi Gary
As per my discussion immediately above with “madetobeunique” we provide our theme support by way of our dedicated support forum. This is also noted in the theme documentation, and the Support Tab above.
Had you gone to the forum, and followed the instructions in the forum header for searching solutions, a google search such as the following:
Kaptinlin Support change font to google font
would have given you immediate results, in fact one of the first results contains the answer, place the following in your General Panel/Css tab ->Custom CSS field:
body {font-family:”your google font”;}
btw, we recommend where possible a user utilize a fontface font rather then a google font. Google fonts impact site speed due to the external api call.
If this did not resolve your question, please post a new thread at the support forum. Make certain you correctly input the font name, or it will not work.

Hi, can you please provide me the code so I can change the background color for the Leave a Reply box on my post pages? Right now the background color blends in too much making it harder to see. I’d like a nice white background so it stands out. I tried looking through your forum for answers, and posted a request quite some time ago for it, but haven’t seen any responses. So I’m hoping you can help me here. Just need the CSS code. Thanks! (eg. see the bottom of the page: http://survivingtheoregontrail.com/activities/practice-cursive-writing-work-sheet-extra-large-3/)
Hi
Hoping you posted at the support forum for help from the support team…. per our last advice to you in your prior comments here at TF.

Hi James, I’ve posted there before, with no response back. I’ve also searched the site for answers. I haven’t had much success there either.
Can you please provide me with a quick CSS code?
Hi,
I checked the support forum and your last (and only post) on Oct 12 was responded to the same day by Paul from the Support Team.
Checking it, I see it was on this topic, and he replied with some suggested CSS. I don’t see any followup from you in the thread:
http://kaptinlin.com/support/discussion/12471/background-color-for-leave-a-reply-field-area#Item_2advising whether it worked or not.
We normally do not provide any custom code other then on a paid basis as it is outside of the support provided free of charge, falling into design, not usage. But if you reply in that thread he or another team member will respond.
BTW, I went to the link above and I did not see any form or field in the page.
I am also wondering if the following thread might help you:
http://kaptinlin.com/support/discussion/11362/comments-background-color-css-code/p1which I found myself by following the very advice we give users in the forum header for searching the forum, in this case my google search was:
Kaptinlin Support comment form background color
I suggest you reply in the thread on the success of the code provided, with a link to a functioning field if it does not, and the team will respond.
Best Regards

You’re rather charming James, thank you for your courteous help and patience.
The link I provided seemed to attach the ) at the end of the link making it an error page… but if you take the ) off it would have shown you the correct page I was using for an example. I do appreciate you pointing out Paul’s response. I don’t know why I never received a confirmation of his response. How frustrating. Anyways, thank you for responding here. Paul seemed to provide me exactly what I needed and you made that pretty clear.
I have noted that you have a very fine template (I really like it a lot) – but YOUR personal customer service and frustrating documentation makes this theme frustrating and annoying. As a professional website designer I would be less likely to recommend it to my customers based on that alone.
Work on your communications approach and documentation and you nearly have a masterpiece.
Hi
I think it is the old forum software, it seems that sometimes it is sending out emails registering a reply, and sometimes it is not.
If what either Paul or the other thread does not contain the solution, just reply in your original forum thread, and we will respond almost certainly the same day.
Our personal customer service make the theme frustrating? That is a first! We operate an open dedicated forum which is itself still relatively unusual. To our best knowledge we are the only theme developers who provide live skype support when a user needs that extra bit of assistance or thinks they have a bug – I have over 4000 of our users in my skype list from the last 5 years – so I am not quite understanding how such personal service can be a negative.
The theme has the equivalent of 90 pages of written documentation built right into the various help fields. I actually have never seen any other theme which had so much help in most settings. Usually one gets 5 or 6 words, whereas we provide paragraphs on many settings.
We also have written documentation, although as the theme has progressed, it has become out of date for the newer features, we are aware of this shortcoming.
Our rating here at TF, very high at 4.75, is a reflection of 5 yrs of being really dedicated to supporting this theme. But users have to do their part by following the instructions on the indicated support channel. Everywhere, in the Item Details, the Support tab, the in theme documentation, the downloaded text files, all say the same thing – Support Forum!
As well, if you are a web designer, and are making repeated license buys, we do provide extra support. But you have to reach out to us at the support forum – usually with a forum mail message to one of the support team indicating your sites, licenses, and skype, and we will make direct contact with you.
My own skype has not been turned off since 2010! :))
Best Regards
Striking Team
James
I have used the striking theme for a content site and I have a client that would like to use for an e-commerce site. I see that you are wp-commerce and woo-commerce compatible, which do you recommend? or other e-commerce plugin
Hi Creationad
I would normally recommend woo. But can you send us an email with your skype id, and I will contact you by skype and we can discuss your needs and make certain we find the right fit: woo, wpecomm, EDD, etc.
Email kaptinlin as follows: lingcheng @ strikingmultiflex.com (remove the spaces) and he will forward it to me to contact you. I am part of the support team.
