Yes, sure you can use the Envato Toolkit but there is also an embedded auto updater in Theme Options. Osmosis is fully compatible with the WooCommerce 2.5, we took care of it in the last update as you can read in Osmosis Changelog.

Hi,
I’m having some issues on the contact page on a test site. It randomly changes the formatting and background colour if i move a row to another section of the page and also keeps creating a new row at the bottom of the page. If i make more than one change to the settings of a row it keeps losing the background colour.
It now also tries to open up my mail client when i select anywhere in the bottom row which could be on the background image or the contact form 7 in the right hand column and i can’t figure out why. I created a new row to make sure there were no links still associated with the row but this didn’t work. I moved the row up to the middle of the page so its was the bottom row and this seemed to stop it opening up a mail client to complete an email but also then lost the background colour to the 3 icon boxes. There seems to be something weird happening to this page and has taken me hours to try and resolve.

I’m about to install version 2.9.1 but just wanted to confirm that there aren’t any pending Osmosis updates that I should wait for since WooCommece 2.5 was just released on Jan. 18th.
Will the Osmosis WooCommerce templates still be compatible or will I get the “Your theme contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files.” message?

Even if you update the WooCommerce now, you will not have any major issues. However, Osmosis will be updated with the new VC version included as well as the WooCommerce compatibility in a couple of days (maybe earlier).

If it’s just going to be a few days I’ll hold off on updating to 2.9.1. No sense in updating and then updating again a few days later.

Hi,
I’m having some issues on the contact page for some reason i’m getting blank white spaces between the rows. I used the standard contact page for the interior demo and tried changed the background colour for the icon boxes and a white section appeared. I checked the paddings and margins and all look ok. I deleted the section and recreated it but still getting the issues and i’ve then created a new page and now i’ve got white sections between all rows and not just the one even though i’ve copied exactly the same settings from the original one.

Thanks for using Osmosis
There are 3 options in Row Settings > Section Options in order to handle the spaces in your rows. The first is to set the Bottom Margin to 0 of the first row if you need to collapse it with the following one, the Header Section to collapse the first row with the Header and the Footer Section to collapse the last row with the Footer. You can also read about these options on this article and check this screenshot.

thanks for the quick response. i’d already set the header and footer options but didn’t know about the 0 in the padding and that’s seemed to have resolved the issue

Hi There, great theme. Can you direct me to where I find the local files for the map pins. In the settings for the contact demo page the icons link back to your demo site but no content shows.

You can locate these under osmosis/images/markers. Have in mind that you can upload your own. Hope that helps

Could you please close the switcher in order to get the right URL? There is an option to upload your own marker in both map element and featured map. This marker is just the default one. Please open a ticket on our support forum if you need further help and more details

sorry i’ve checked through the theme options and i can’t figure out where to add the social media profiles to the header. I’ve selected which ones i want present under header options but it doesn’t allow me to set the link to the social media accounts there. I’ve then gone into the social media tab but it’s just a list of social media platforms again with no option to add accounts. please help. thanks

Hi I’m trying to embed a vimeo video on a page in portfolio but it does’t show the video screen just the code. I tested on another template and there is no problem so it must be the Osmosis issue. Does anything needs to be specially configured to embed to a page? Thanks

Firstly, this is something that deals with any theme which includes a 3rd party asset and not with Osmosis. So, when the Revolution slider comes bundled with a theme, you do not get support from the Themepunch team.
