This is how we managed to do it:
Just add a new project first:
(don’t forget to add Featured Image of that project)
then when you go to www.yoursite.com/portfolio, your portfolios will appear there.

1 and 3) We don’t have this issue on our theme, and it should work to you too. Can you please disable all your third-party plugins (plugins that don’t come with our theme) one by one, and check if this problem is solved.

Hi,
The featured image on the Single Post page doesn’t seem to work after upgrade to the latest version of Kalium 1-8-2. I have turned off all plugins just to check any conflicts and that doesn’t solve the issue either.
I have the:
1) Featured image placement (single post) > Full Width – TICKED in Blog Theme Options.
2) Featured Image Placing > Full width – selected on the post page.
3) Post Featured image populated.

Update, I had to roll back to wp4.3.1 and select all the post page options for the single post page to work will full image. This doesn’t seem right.
Also the full page images look low quality when the originals look fine at full resolution. Is the full size image effect enlarging a thumbnail and not the original full hd image instead?

Hello, I report a problem on the filter categories that I’ve always had on all versions of the template arch kalium. Now I’m using version 1.8.5 is the problem remained.

With these steps, the filter categories stops working.
Currently I have solved the problem by reading your response in the comments:
downolad this file + change wiht original file
portfolio-listing.php -> wp-content / themes / kalium / tpls / kalium-custom.min.js -> wp-content / themes / kalium / assets / js /
Then in functions.php add this line of code at the end of file:
add_filter (‘portfolio_container_isotope_category_sort_by_js’, ‘__return_true’);
But these files are overwritten at each update of kalium and forced to reposition them manually. And ‘possible fix this bug?

1 and 3— To translate/rename theme strings, you can do this via Loco Translate plugin. If you don’t have this plugin, please install and activate it in your WordPress site.
1. Then go to Loco Translate > Manage Translations
2. Click “New Language” for the current active theme (if you didn’t created it yet, otherwise ignore this step). On the new language page, choose these options – click here http://d.pr/i/1ewoc
3. After that you will be redirected to the editing screen for theme translations. Before you continue make sure this is true – click here http://d.pr/i/18h0w

In the kalium.pot there is no entry for the above-named “All” caption for the filter options of the portfolios. The only “All” caption refers to something different. At least I saw to change there.

I am so sorry, there was a problem with the permissions of LocoTranslate, so the translations never turned into effect.
Just 2 further questions:
1. The person mentioned above, who is interested in your theme also needs a good calendar (it will be the website of a german party). Can you recommend a good one, who works well with Kalium? The most free calendars won’t work good enough with kalium or are not translateable.
2. Do you have a tutorial to create a image slider (with page links) as page header? I would like to create a pretty starting page.

Question number two is obsolete yet. Instead want to ask the following:
In the theme options I changed the header’s hight (absolute in pixels), but the website logo still stays at it’s original position and only the website moves more to the top. ( http://abload.de/img/screenbpznm.jpg )
What can I do now, to place the menu bar and the logo also more to the top or center it excactly between the slider and the upper end of the page?

That is your portfolio page, so when you go to www.yoursite.com/portfolio your portfolio will appear.
Then you can choose the style of your portfolio by going to your WordPress Dashboard > Laborator > Theme Options > Portfolio Settings.

Hello again,
I’ve run into an issue after updating Kalium to its latest version. Some of the layouts I’ve created with Visual Composer are completely skewed and not appearing as they should. I have attached some screenshots to show what I mean:
1) Images in columned-page grid appearing much larger than intended and extending past the site’s container width. Manually changing the image dimensions does not fix appear to make a difference – the image remains the same size.

2) Text columns in side-portfolio pages (specifically in the “Description” area in the screenshot) have decreased in width so that the descriptions are very long and narrow. The text column will often run straight off the page and will overlap onto footer and beyond.

My theme and plugins are updated to the latest version, however I see that I have Visual Composer Version 4.8.1 when the latest version is 4.9. Wordpress hasn’t prompted me to update the plugin and I’m not sure why. Any help with this matter will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for such a quick response! I’m using Kalium 1.8.5 and I’ve updated Visual Composer to Version 4.9, however my problem still persists. I’ve included my URL below. It’s mainly the Album Artwork page that’s giving me trouble (enlarged images and skewed layout when clicked).

Can you please disable Coming Soon mode?
P.S: Have you changed the layout type on this project once? Because that can bring some troubles when you finish that project with Zig-Zag portfolio type for example and then change it to another one.

I haven’t changed the layout type at all, especially since the update. The most I’ve done is remove/change the arrangement of some of the images on the page. Same goes for the side-portfolio page layouts. I hadn’t made any changes at all and somehow they’re messed up site-wide. Each side-portfolio is based on a template I made in Visual Composer, and I haven’t messed with that either.
All of my plugins are updated, I’m running the newest Kalium, so I’m not quite sure what’s up. Thanks for your help!

That is happening because we didn’t supported Single Project with Visual Composer before, and now we have introduced that feature.
So the old “hack” method that you have used now is broken.
But can you please tell us how that project was before the update and we will inspect the code to tell you which code is doing the mess.
