Hi, We have updated the theme but now there are some portfolio items that disappeared from the homepage also if they are still on the list on Wordpress. Also category filter still doesn’t work perfectly.

I found out that when I choose Normal pagination instead of Endless scroll on portfolio settings all the problems disappeared and works well. However i would prefer to use the scroll, hope you can fix it

First of all, WordPress handles everything with image processing. Our theme just defines the sizes of images, then its up to WordPress to crop and optimize them.

Our preferences were to make “retina” images, so each image has the size of 120% to 200% of the container they are hold. This makes images look clear on mobile devices. If your focus is not on mobile devices then you can set precise image width for cropping and this will create a “small” difference in file size.

The ones (sizes) presented in Kalium are our recommended images sizes to use with Kalium. If you wish to change specific size for a category they are used I can give you guidelines.

Can you confirm when Kalium 1.8 is released, please?

The LayerSlider WP plugin keeps asking for a purchase code. I tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling it, but the same still happens. Could it be because my theme isn’t the latest? Though I purchased 1.7.2 last night – the only version I have found – upon install, I am told to upgrade to 1.8.

Can you clarify?

When Kalium theme is activated Layer Slider should not require purchase code, and even if so just ignore it (hide the notification), because whenever new theme update is available the sliders and all other premium plugins will be updated within the theme.

Version 1.8 will be release this week.

These are features of another theme so to add these you must edit the theme files first and add the styling and after that you can manage somehow to add the code in the footer but I don’t know if it works because it is a feature not implemented in the theme.

Hi Art, thank you… When is the 1.8 coming out? Any chance of bottom sticky menu? We have bought other themes and spent hundreds of hours styling them and setting up the pages then an update comes and it is installed and all the setup has to be redone! is this how it will be with Kalium updates? and finally we need AJAX menus with a persistent header when content is loaded (no header refresh) i see your store does this, do all the headers do this (would the bottom header do this)? Basically we want a bottom AJAX persistent header with AJAX animations for loading content while the header is persistent on the page (this is common on other templates but oddly it rarely appears on themes that focus on ecommerce)... I really look forward to associating with you and your team and hope these issues are not too much!

We are working hard on it, we hope it will be released this week together with a lot of new features that come with it.

Regarding your question about updates, for this you need to use the Child Theme, so even when a new update is ready simply update the main theme while the child theme and the modifications remain the same.

The AJAX menu and the bottom sticky menu is a great idea but we will discuss it with the team when we will start to implement this, type of header.

1. I am sorry but this is not possible, you cannot use more than an e-mail to receive the e-mails.

2. I don’t know if it is possible but you can try getting a translation plugin such as Loco Translate and then scan all the theme strings.

3. You can edit that by going to Appearance > Widgets > Footer Widgets

1. I am not trying to send to 2 emails. Just tested by changing the receiver to different addresses. The email form isn’t going through at all.

There may be a problem with your mail server which is not sending e-mails.

Give this plugin a try, it fixes and sends the e-mails through PHP and not through the server.

The sticky menu will be displayed when you start scrolling and then it will be de-activated when scrolling back to top, you cannot keep it always sticky, maybe I didn’t understand your question right so if you could illustrate it somehow maybe I’ll find a solution.

Right now the Contact Form 7 plugin is not styled with the theme, we will include this fix in the upcoming update and it will include support form Ninja Forms too.

You can fix it temporary now by adding this to the Custom CSS:
