Hi, three questions – Can the subscribe feature be linked with ConverKit and can you decide on what pages it shows? For the archive page, it’s shown with no sidebar, is this the only option or can you also do sidebar?

You could export the subscriber list to 3rd party email marketing tools, such as Convertkit, Mailchimp, etc.
There is no specific option to display subscribe form to only show on certain pages, but it should be possible but would most likely require customization. You could use our service here: http://support.jegtheme.com/custom-change-service/

Unfortunately, no. But as I mentioned above, the subscriber list can be download/export and you could import it manually from Convertkit, Mailchimp, etc.

Thanks for your kind word! You could change the text with Loco Translate plugin. Once you install that plugin, simply go to Loco Translate -> Manage translations and translate “SUBSCRIBE” to other text you want. For detail you can read here: http://support.jegtheme.com/forums/topic/subscribe-2/
For the subscribe form this theme using built-in plugin, it should be possible with 3rd party Mailchimp plugin and it most likely require customization for integration.

I’m translating the Falive package as you explain in the link (and as I can see in the picture) but it seems that there is no change… Does it take time to change it? I’ve tried it with the buttons and the subscription form (changing the text below and clicking the Save button).
And this way, I’m changing the English version, but not making a new translation? When the translations are updated, will this new text I’m introducing be automatically changed?

No, it should update when you save it. Do you use any caching plugin such as W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache? If so, you need to clear cache.
If your site using English, just update the English translation and make sure you modified the “translation” field not the “source text”.

No, I don’t have WP Super Chache nor other extra pluguins. And now I see the translation is saved but it keeps showing the source text instead of the translation I changed yesterday. Don’t know what to do…
hi Gemma88, may i know how your setting during using translation with loco translate? your translation file, should reside in wp-content > themes > falive-themes > lang. if you put it on other place, it may not working correctly.

I have been trying for two days to install the Falive theme to my Wordpress site using ipage hosting. I have been on YouTube, called hosting support and followed other support posts re: the missing css stylesheet and cannot get the theme installed. Beyond frustrated and really wanted ot have my site started. Please HELP!

It seems you upload wrong file, please unzip the main .zip file (bundle file) from Themeforest and then you will find file named: falive-themes.zip. This is the main theme file that you should upload.

Hi, I’m interested in purchasing. Two questions:
1. Does the slider automatically populate from your recent posts or is this a second step? 2. For the feature images in the slider, the now trending, the blog posts, and the category page – does one image resize making it a seamless process? 3. I’m currently using the Genesis Framework with a child theme…. the only shortcode being used is a block quote feature. Will this carry over or do I have to go through each post and remove this code and add your code?

1. Yes, by default it display recent posts, but you also can filter with certain categories or tags.
2. Of course, you only need upload 1 image and it will automatically resized on all positions.
3. If the shortcode came along plugin (not theme), you just need to enable those plugin to be able use it on our theme, but it may display in different style.
4. It may require small tweaks for this, we will gladly help you for that.

Yes, both are built in features – no extra plugin required. For the subscriber you can place it at footer and sidebar only. To move it under slider/popular post it require little tweaks, and yes it is possible.

When I compress my screen or shrink it, the menu drop down box becomes unresponsive. when i hover over it, nothing drops down, making it impossible to navigate the site.

Actually on mobile menu you need to tap/click to open menu, there is no hover state on mobile device.

As previously mentioned tap or hover doesn’t cause any reaction on desktop or mobile. This correspondence has been going on for a week now and each time it takes a day to reply.

It quite hard for us to investigate it if we can’t see the issue, we already re-test it on our desktop and mobile devices and there is no issue like you mentioned.

So what should i do. the navigation doesn’t work for me, but you say it does? I have requested giving you my login so you can see for yourself. I requested this over a week ago. This is becoming an urgent issue as it has taken over a week to resolve and am still no closer as you keep saying the same thing which doesn’t help.

add_image_size( 'featured', 1080, 635, true );However, this will affect for all slider because this theme use the same image size for sliders. You also need to regenerate thumbnails after change the size.

Hi, I understand that the slider requires me to use a static page at the homepage default. But I am confused on how to add recent posts on the static page, just like the one on Falive. When I click on Settings>reading, there is no option to click on ‘recent posts’ in the posts page.
Also, how can I remove the sidebar, so that my website will look more centrally aligned on the fullwidth format?
