Hi. Great theme, guys. Although I figuered out most things I need, I’m still wondering about few things. I would like to make a simple text logo for my site that uses the same font as the head menu in demo in travel version of the theme. What is the name of that font and how can I use that same font for the text logo? How can I change the size of text logo?

I have pasted custom css the way you suggested (changed the font size though) but there seems to be a problem. Before the page fully loads the old text logo font shows before it changes to the new cusatomized text logo. It’s very short time (maybe 0.1 of a second) but still it looks kinda weird … Why is this happening?

This delay happens because of cascading property of css, the default css is loading before your custom css to overwrite it. I suggest to do this change directly in the stylesheet file and this delay should not happen – http://screencast.com/t/VvUr5nLqVp0

Please make sure you use the latest version of the Speed Booster plugin provided with the theme 4.2 as the google fonts are moved to the bottom by default. If you don’t want to update the plugin you can try to use these ids:

I wanna use this for adding recipes. Do you have any suggestions or plugins for that. Also how can i view how many shares have been made to the social sharing sites. Can you please release an update which allows you to see how many shares have been made?
Also this theme isn’t supporting frontend editing via visual composer. Can you tell how to do that? And can you please include ultimate addons for the visual composer

Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have any template with recipe schema markup, but you can try to create a custom template with this kind of markup, please check this topic(this is not so easy if you don’t have php experience) – http://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/need-to-customize-the-single-post/ Also you can try to find a plugin but I cannot make any recommendations as we did not tested any plugin with this functionality, sorry!
The theme doesn’t have a count system for shares, you can try to find a plugin that has this option. I will add your suggestion on our list and the developers will consider it for future if many users will request it, but I cannot promise you anything as we have many feature requests on our list and we have to chose carefully which one get’s implemented next.
The frontend editor is disabled from the theme as it doesn’t work properly with tagdiv blocks, but you can enable it by removing/comment this code – http://screencast.com/t/ZnQOADVd The Visual Composer add-ons were not tested with the theme, sorry!

How can I update my Newspaper theme to the latest version. In themeforest I can see the update available, but how can I update it using wordpress theme update option. I dont want to loose my theme settings and menu options. Please help.

Please check this guide to update the theme(A,B,C) – http://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ We recommend to make a full backup of your current installation(wordpress and database) so you can revert in case that something goes wrong – https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups If you have custom modifications to the code, you will have to re-ad them as the theme files will be overwritten when you update the theme. Regarding the backend(theme settings) and wordpress settings, these should not be affected by the update.

The custom sign in/register widget is based on wordpress log in/register functionality so the theme doesn’t have an option to log in from a social network, sorry! Unfortunately no block was designed to get the post content you can use more tag, only module 15 was designed like this, but this module is not used on any block, you can set it only on loop templates as category, latest articles, blog.. – http://screencast.com/t/M5TM0X4I8l4 – http://screencast.com/t/cg0PwEBrKMT So only for this module you can control the content using more tag.
If you want to change the block functionality regarding excerpts you will need custom modifications to replace the get excerpt function so I suggest to hire someone to do this for you as you may need also css customizations and we are not available for custom services, sorry!

Hi there. I saw your demo in my friends website and this is the kind of theme I want. However, I have few questions. I want to add a few modules in the website. Will you instruct me or do it for me? Secondly, I wanna go for multisite and do I have to buy for each separately even though if I am using the same domain? Third, if I want to add a few fields for registration and social login, are you going to assist me? And finally, I am not so savvy with PHP or CSS, I want the excerpt to be displayed in most of the modules, will you assist me over that?

Yes, if you buy the theme you can download the latest version of the theme 6.6.4 and you can see here what the theme package includes – http://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/
Both themes share the same core so their functionality and performances are similar. The main differences are in designs/appearances and the content area width which slightly differs from one theme to another, newspaper’s grid width is 1068px while newsmag’s width is 1021px. Other differences are also appear regarding features, some of the blocks are present on one and missing on the other. We plan to constantly add new features to each theme.
