Unfortunately we haven’t tested WPML plugin with the theme, but based on feedback from theme users that have tried the plugin, we know that it works with WPML (basic compatibility) but it requires custom modifications on the code to make them 100% compatible. Considering that WPML is popular plugin, we always responded regarding this as the theme doesn’t support WPML and requires custom work to implement it. We don’t plan to include WPML support because we want to avoid dependency on another external plugin(at least in near future), sorry!

As an alternative we have made some tests using QTranslate X plugin and it should work fine with the theme, you can also try it.

Hi,

iOs devices use retina display so you could use a plugin to deliver 2x img thumbs. You could try a plugin like: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-retina-2x/

Be aware that haven’t tested it so I can’t guarantee it will also work but you can try it.

1. The theme doesn’t show post views for posts before you’ve installed and enabled the post views counter as the counter starts updating after you activate then theme and this feature. It’s a theme related feature and it doesn’t relate to jetpack’s stats module. In order to get the previous stats for your posts you woudl have to customize theme’s post views counter to retrieve and update jetpack’s post views meta, you would need to do that here: http://screencast.com/t/LLYIzH3c

We do not provide customization services so would have to turn to a freelancer for this changes.

In terms of speed we have made a page speed guide and covered the most important aspects that google notifies you of ( image optimization, js/css render blocking and more..) and based on which it classifies and grades your site’ regarding speed. The theme has been developed to be fast but it may still need configurations on this matters so test your site using google’s page speed insights testing tool and make sure you follow the guide instructions and methods then test your site again.

We can’t offer speed customization services at the moment so if you still need guidance on this or you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do the necessary customizations for you.

Theme’s header is set to fill the whole width of no background is set so in order to have it full width you just need to remove the background color and image you’ve set on your site: http://screencast.com/t/SKkNAFlPlchu then set a background color for the header: http://screencast.com/t/3TDyCXWQ It should display at full width, like this: http://screencast.com/t/ZhoVDnQIbUpp

For the footer there is no theme panel option to make it full width but once you remove the background image/color its width should also turn to full: http://screencast.com/t/pAhmW1Vfhc6

1. Unfortunately, if you haven’t did this already, you would have to test “Content/Affiliate Egg” and WP PRO Advertising System – All In One Ad Manager plugins yourself because since we haven’t tested any of those plugins with the theme I cannot provide a precise answer on this.

2. The theme has its own advertisement system implemented which handles adsense ad codes but if you would need to extend its functionality you would need an adv manager plugin. You can find more detailed informations on theme adv system here: http://forum.tagdiv.com/header-ad/

The theme doesn’t have an option to set a specific category for related articles block, there will appear the posts from the same category/tag with the current article as I guess you know. Hi,

What I can tell is that the smart sidebar(sticky) functionality is the same on both themes, this depends only about the widgets number you add in the sidebar. When you scroll down and you reach to the last widget from the sidebar, it becomes sticky and depends also by the monitor resolution how many widgets are visible. In the case when the sidebar is longer then windows size and when you scroll down the sidebar stick at the bottom, then if you scroll to up you will see all the sidebar and when the sidebar is over will stick on top until you get on top of the page.

Yes, there are options in Theme Panel > Theme Colors to change the color for each section of the site – http://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-colors-introduction/ For block title you can change the background color and text from each block’s settings – http://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/

Hi,

The theme doesn’t have this functionality, it works based of default wordpress functionality(you can test this on a default wordpress theme: categories > authors, tags > categories), just that we have more custom category templates. Also the author page is automatically created when the user is created and publish posts, all articles will appear on the author template, you can check on our demo – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/author/admin/

Regarding tagdiv blocks, you can filter posts also by tags, not only by categories, if you want this as there is an option to add the tag name there – http://screencast.com/t/PhX0TFR0
