Quick question though, two actually.
First, how can I show all of my portfolio posts on my front page (home) instead of a separate portfolio page.
And second, how can I change the hyperlink on all those portfolio pages at the bottom where it says ‘main portfolio’, I would like to direct that link back to my homepage.

Hi As your nice Studiofolio theme isn’t updated since 18 November 14 (so hard deal for you to place there the latest version of Revolution slider?), I see your new “baby” in order to buy instead of Studiofolio. Is the Uncode absolutly difference, need I repair all posts after change the Studiofolio to Uncode?

Do you include the rev slider imports somewhere?
Hi voltagenewmediainc! If you refer to the Slider Revolution demo sliders import you can import all the free ones by the Slider Revolution plugin itself from the “Add Slider Template” in SR first screen.

None of our demos are based on Slider Revolution. In all our demo we just use the native Content Block Slider, if you have any needs we can give you more info in our forum!

Hi. Great theme! I’m probably missing something but how do you customise the /portfolio default page to, say, three columns (currently it’s two). I can create custom portfolio pages but users might navigate to the /portfolio page so I need it to look as I want.

I have purchased and installed your theme and simply wanted to have a blog like this: http://www.undsgn.com/uncode/home/blog-masonry/?style=right
The configuration was so complicated and I was not able to do this. I could either import all different styles and pages or none. So how can I only have “Blog Masonry” installed and be loaded on the landing page with pre-imported media files like the template?
Please advise ASAP.

I’m trying to edit the demo content and can’t seem to understand where to change some of the images….take for example the “Creative Artist” page. There is a picture of a person on a skateboard right when you click on this page. HOW DO YOU CHANGE THIS IMAGE? I have been trying for about an hour to find where you change it.

Ok, I had enough.. This theme present itself like a ferarri, but under the hood it’s old wooden cart drafted by an old donkey. This immense theme wants to do everything, but it does not do the most basic thing – usability. It’s impossible to do anything without importing demo data. The main theme work is done by this Visual Composer tool, no problem, I started to like it. But the architecture lacks the plan and approach how to build the pages and posts. In example, to change one color, you need to travel across entire configuration, to figure out, what’s going on there. Another funny thing widely found in configuration is dropdowns with no options. Performance also suffers.. The first thing I had done rised an php error.. so, big disappointment..
This theme has nice face, but broken glassed core.
P.S. Warning: Division by zero in /home/anthonyconti/public_html/wp-content/themes/uncode/partials/menus.php on line 83 is made by wrong upload logo validation. User must fill the Media Poster (Image ID) field, but there is no requirement or warning… please fix it, I am not only one who faced it

We are more than happy to explain to you why the theme it’s a Ferrari even under the hood, I can guarantee you that. About the dropdown it’s no meant to be empty so I would like to look at it. I Always suggest to import all the stuff, I know you just need a page but maybe you need something from another page, if you have all the complete demo you can just paste and copy without recreate the wheel. Before go live you can select all the pages and images you dont use in a few click and bulk delete all of them!

Possible to globally add a widgetize sidebar to portfolio items? I would hate to manually build a sidebar for every portfolio item. Is it also possible to enable comments for portfolio items?

No sorry this is actually not possibile, usually users dont needs widgets sidebar on portfolio items and this first version of Uncode tent to cover the most common approach. I am using x-theme and have it set up with about 10 pages, have the plugins, it’s all working, but thinking about migrating over to this one. Would it pick up my menu, and media and be almost the same minus customization, or would I have to build the pages back from the beginning? Do you know what I might expect? Is there any way to try it before buying it to see? It’s one of those, I would change, but I don’t want to start over deals.
Hi Rybird and thank you for interest in Uncode! I think you have to recreate pages from the beginning, X use a proprietary page builder, so every new themes you use you should recreate your pages, not only Uncode. Customisations are based on theme needs, so you lost of all them. What you dont loose is what come from basic WordPress (common to all themes). No sorry actually we dont have a test case to test the theme before purchase, sorry. Let us know if you need more infos!
I haven’t lost anything as of now. I wasn’t or am not certain I had the best theme for the things I was wanting to do, Should I have issues, I know now I have an alternative and your theme looks like it would be a good one. and thank you!

I am a beginner for wordpress, started first of this month. I don’t use a front end builder like Visual Composer or the x-theme’s builder, I tried two other themes. Excuse me, I had a blog on wordpress in my Weebly install for a couple years, then starting this month, I made two portfolio wordpresses using Web Doratos Portfolio galleries, , then I ditched the Weebly and moved it all underneath X-theme, using menus to tie the four installations together. It’s all rather set up nicely now, but I have lots more content I can add. if you want to see it, it’s at rybird.com The trouble I was having is mostly not knowing what I am doing. but the immediate issue was I could not get the theme full width, I did get the home page how I want it for now, although I can’t seem to put text over the pictures, as in a floating text box, nor can I get revolution slider to work, so you can, see how I am bludgeoning my way. I do appreciate your quick response.
