I’m trying to make my menu/header areas semitransparent and even though I change the settings in the Header section of the Qode Options it doesn’t change anything.

Presently, I am using Bridge 7.2. The latest version is 7.9. Can I install the 7.9 without having to install the intermediary versions first?
Second, your theme update instructions say, “Copy/Replace the content of bridge folder to /wp-content/themes/bridge folder of your web site.” My question: should I simply replace the old bridge folder with the new one or should I open the new bridge folder and copy the entire contents of the folder into the bridge folder on my server? You can simply install latest version and it will be fine.
When it comes to upgrading process, simply replace old files with new ones, as we have stated in documentation.

QODE, thanks for the reply. But, I’m asking for more specifics. Since the folder I downloaded is the entire theme, how do I know which are the new files? What I’d like from you is a very specific direction like, “drag the contents of the new Bridge folder to the Bridge folder on your server.” Now, I want to double check that if this is what I am supposed to do, that I will not overwrite important files like my custom CSS or any of the theme settings. I realize my content is in a database. Thanks.
Please note, you have two options when downloading our theme, instalable or all files archive. Unzip it, it contains only bridge folder. This unzipped folder is needed for FTP upload.
Do you have a changelog? I don’t see it in the theme download. If I had that, then I would be able to just upload the files that have been changed. I’ve done some customization and I don’t want to override what I’ve done.

I have a question!
When i add in a page the portfolio list add on i want to include all porfolio categories except one!
F.e. Im using only the ‘slug’ words of each category with space and it doesn’t work. This is the page: http://marmarometry.co/?page_id=15556.
I want to keep all categories including ’’all’’ and i want to remove the ’’museum’’ category.

Please note, slug option is meant to be used for single category displayed in portfolio list, you can’t use multiple slugs within that field.
So, currently, only way to exclude elements is by entering their IDs within shortcode edit screen.

Sorry if we have mislead you, basically, by entering ID’s of selected projects only those selected will be shown. This is manual workaround not to show some portfolio items.

I just updated to the new version of this theme and now my Woo commerence pages are all messed up. I do not see the image of the product when I look at it in the cart and when I go to checkout, my page is blank. I reverted back to the old version and everything works well. Please advise.

Firstly awesome theme. I’m amazed at how advance and customizable it really is. I do however have some a question for you.
Basically I have a collection of stories and photographers work. Ideally, blogs would be able to go full width so page content could be like any other page, ie i could put a full width section to display a large image. So if i was to put content into pages instead of blogs I can achieve the what i need. The site though is made up of a multiple of these pages, so what would be the best way to search and display these in a similar way to the masonry blog for example.
I guess the 2 main questions are:
1) Is there a way to add categories and tags to ‘pages’, not blogs or portfolio items, so that they are searchable in a similar way?
2) Is it at all possible to use portfolio or blog elements to show snippets of pages, and not blogs? I hope that make sense.

Hi there.
I noticed in the documentation that the carousel has right and left navigation arrows. http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge-new-help/#!/qode_carousel. How can this be implemented as i don’t see it in any of the carousel options.

True but please note, image is outdated, Qode Carousel doesn’t have included navigation arrows since it does have drag/swipe functionality.

1. Can I mix different functionalities from different demos? Can I adjust the color from Bright light demo?

1) Yes of course, functionalities can be mixed and matched.
2) Yes, size of carousel can be controlled.
3) You will have to translate theme options manually, however, VC is included with Spanish language files.
4) Yes, there are provided options for header height control.

Please make sure to disable AdBlock plus or similar browser extension. Our demo domain was blacklisted for some reason on one of malware list creators, but this should be sorted out soon, we have contacted them and got confirmed that our domain is/will be whitelisted.

I found a reason of the problem. It was not up to date plugin iTheme Security. Now i updated it and preview works fine. Thanks for response!

This usually means you’re experiencing lack of server resources needed to perform import. I have 5 GB space disk. I only wish I set up my website and the demo printerest portfolio, I do not get this
Please note, disk space on one hosting package is actually irrelevant setting, we’re referring to memory limit, max upload file size, max execution time etc. All of those are related to PHP.
