Hi,

The Border Color for the Comments box in the Blog Posts will take the color that you set as ‘Secondary Border’ under OSHINE OPTIONS > COLORS.

To set the BG color , and to change the border thickness, you can use the css code below -

Hi,

You have option to add ‘css class’ to each of your menu items. The provision to add the class will show upon enabling it in the screen options at the top of the Menu Screen. You can add a common class to the links, that you do not want to show up in the mobile, and add custom CSS code (like Below) to hide the menu links -

.mobile-hidden-link{ display: none; }

You need to add the code (after replacing it with the class that you add) in the custom css section under OSHINE OPTIONS > GENERAL SETTINGS.

It is likely that you are having the MasterSlider or Slider Revolution plugin activated in your site, although you are not using it. Since the plugins do not completely support Ajax Loading, we have hard disabled ajax transitions if the plugins are activated.

Please disable the plugins and also ensure that you have enabled Ajax Transitions under OSHINE OPTIONS > GLOBAL SITE LAYOUT AND SETTINGS panel.

I am glad you like the theme. I see that you are having an old version of the theme. Can you check if updating the theme resolves the issues? Please update the theme to the latest version Oshine 4.0 as per the instructions here – www.brandexponents.com/oshine-knowledgebase/knowledge-base/update-theme .

I think that it’s because when I changed a line in the css (reducing the distance between the header menu and the submenus, which was too important in my opinion), I did it in the 1.9 css that I had on my computer, and replaced the css of the 4.0, as it was already updated on the distant server… stupid.

I am able to see the grid in the portfolio page (http://cl.ly/3Q2a3y1G0q24) and the page is not blank. I am assuming the issue in fixed already. Can you check the page in a private browsing window to ensure that the issue is not due to cache of old javascript files.

Regarding the instagram module, i think you have removed the module currently in the about page, and hence i do not see the error. If you want me to look into this, please send me your URL, wp-admin id and password via the contact form in the support tab.

You can try adding this code to the CUSTOM JAVASCRIPT section under OSHINE OPTIONS > GENERAL SETTINGS. I have not used this in our demos, and i am not sure if it would work in all cases and is optimised.

I figured it out after much fussing with it. It was stuck on pagebuilder version 4.0.2 and I didn’t provide a way to upgrade to version 4.0.5. I eventually deleted the plugin entirely and reinstalled an old version (4.0.0) from your download package. It then gave the option to upgrade to version 4.0.5. This succeeded and now lets me use the pagebuilder.

Roundabout way of doing it but whatever works I guess.

I have another small issue that i’m curious about that is unrelated. I am trying to run my entire site through https. my homepage is currently loading everything fine but when the theme calls for the logo it just embeds the standard http instead of the https link (which does exist and functions). I assume this would be a pretty simple fix if I can find where to make the change. Currently Chrome doesn’t like loading unsecured content on a secure site. If you can help me find this to make the appropriate changes that would be appreciated. If I don’t hear a response in a few day i’ll follow up with a ticket. Thanks

Sorry about the issue with Page Builder 4.0.2. As a compensation, we offered to update the plugin for so many of our buyers. I am glad you found a way to get the notification and update it yourself. Anyhow, apologies for the inconvenience cause.

Regarding the ‘https’ , we can make a fix for this in our future update as this is relatively simple. However if you want this to be fixed immediately in your site, I can do a hot fix, so you do not have to wait for the update. Hi,

The thumbnails in the grid are cropped to the dimension defined in the theme. You have the option to modify the aspect ratio of the images which you can set up to suit the type of images you are having. However if you do not want the images to be cropped at all, you can enable the ‘Masonry’ option in the Gallery. This option will pull the image in its original dimension.

The thumbnail images are not square because you have not set the aspect ratio accordingly. The default aspect (width/height) ratio is 1.6 and this is why the images are rectangular. You have to option to change this under OSHINE OPTIONS > PORTFOLIO SETTINGS. You need to set this to 1, to get square images. After you have changed the aspect ratio, you need to use the plugin called ‘Regenerate Thumbnails’ to regenerate all the images as per the new ratio. This will make all your images look like in v17 demo.

The change should be made in the header-functions.php file, within folder named headers, in the Walker function that pulls up the Submenu. If you are familiar with PHP/WP coding, you can try and alter it, or hire a developer who will be able to assist you with this.

Regarding the Masonry Layout – the double width and double height property does not take effect when the masonry layout is enabled and is applicable only otherwise, as the dimension of a thumbnail is not a constant in masonry grid, the option to double is not possible.

We have not tested the theme with this plugin and hence cannot assure its working without conflicts. I am sorry about that. The theme can be optimally used when you construct your portfolio using the custom post type built in the theme (portfolio) as we have provided numerous option to showcase portfolio and it can very well be used for a Models website. We have many of our clients using the post type to showcase models. We also have the option to edit the ‘slug’ used, so the URL does not have to have ‘portfolio’ in it (Ex – http://brandexponents.com/oshin/blog/portfolio/gallery/ ) .
