For social icons you will need customizations as the theme doesn’t have any options to place socials icons in the main menu just the top menu so you can get the code for theme’s socials from the top menu template which you can find here: http://screencast.com/t/mTQcFs4Go7n and place it in the header ( main ) menu file template here: http://screencast.com/t/7KHsZEN3j
These changes require customization services so if you do not have the coding experience needed to achieve this on your own we advise you to get in touch with a freelancer as we cannot provide customization services at this time.

I am using cloudflare CDN with ssl. I am not able to use the Newspaper theme panel in https enabled. If I try to save the theme panel settings it keeps on loading but wont save. Every time I needed to disable the https mode to enable the themepanel to make changes.

Please check browser’s console while saving and if you have any error pointing to the admin-ajax file contact your host provider and let them know about this and if eventually you can’t solve this address us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and also include a link to this conversation and your site’s admin login details so we can check this.
Please also note that as Catalin also replied you on your forum post on this: http://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/theme-panel-not-working-in-https-links/ the theme is ssl ready it hasn’t been tested with cloudflare’s security so incompatibilities may appear.

I updated the theme today, I have the latest version. Facebook fans in the social media counter still shows 0. I know the link is fine as when I click on the Facebook icon, my Facebook page open properly. Is it possible to fix this bug please?

Please make sure you also update the social counter plguin, you need to use version 3.1.

I have another problem with the “Social Network” tab in the theme panel. Let’s say for “FACEBOOK Link to : Facebook” I enter “www.facebook.com/ablogapartxyz” When I go click on the Facebook icon on the top menu bar, I get directed to “http://www.ablogapart.xyz/www.facebook.com/ablogapartxyz”.

Basically posts are specific to each blog/site on which are created not to the network. The newspaper theme doesn’t have any functionality implemented concerning wp’s multisite feature functionality so the same functionality you find on wp’s default themes can be used on the newspaper theme. You can document online on wp’s multisite standard feature and see if you can change it at your own likings/needs, here is wp’s article guidings on the multisite functionality: https://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network

I see, unfortunately you would need customizations for that appearances. If you own a newsmag theme copy you could get someone to customize the newspaper theme based on newsmag’s theme design.

Hello, i have a question about de DB, is that possible that the vidéo posts with youtube link take very much place in the db? My db is very heavy with 77mo, it’s very much no? i have like 420 posts, and 150 from them are video posts.
Hi,
A regular theme install with 50 posts takes up to 2mb of data so your 77mb is not usual to your amount of posts. Theme’s video URL storage/video format could not generate that db, this hasn’t appeared in our tests and you can also test this by comparing a standard theme/demo test install with your current theme install, it should return a conclusive result.
Eventually you db could be loaded by a plugin which stores various data or a feature from a previous theme. You could try and use a plguin to clean and optimize it and if your tests lead to a cause related to the theme please let us know!
