Hello there. Great theme – it’s speed may trump my other theme considerations. Two main questions before purchasing:
1. Do you have a hero video header background option for the home page? In addition, can only videos from Vimeo be uploaded to it?
2. In the mobile version, is there an option to include the “scroll to top” button? It’s seen in the desktop version but not in the mobile sizing.

Thanks for writing in and for your kind words! Yes, as you can see from our Integrity 1 demo hero background videos are possible. This is done in combination with X’s page meta options and placing a slider before the content. For our background video functionality only .mp4 files are supported, so if you had Vimeo Pro and could get direct links to the source files, this could work, but if you need something more you may want to look into Revolution Slider or LayerSlider (our included sliders that fit this functionality) and see if they can give you what you need.
Can you elaborate more on #2? The scroll top top button for the site is visible on all screens. Once we have some more information I’ll be happy to assist you further.

1) Awesome! I’ve must skipped right over that demo. This demo is much larger than the rest (about 3000kb compared to the other demos 700-2300kb). Obviously, there’s the video and extra graphics/animations to display your capabilities. How much of the video contributes to the size page?
2) I must’ve switched over to fast or was over an image, you’re right. It is there. Is it possible to for the navigation to be in sticky mode when scrolling in this mode as well??

The video weighs in at about 4.5mb, which is pretty small for a video of those dimensions, although it does represent a significant part of the page load. And yes, you can enabled “fixed navigation” which will attach the menu bar to the top of the screen as you scroll past it’s position.

Thanks for writing in! You could certainly utilize one of our included sliders such as Revolution Slider or LayerSlider to get fullpage functionality, and we do also include WooCommerce support. If you haven’t had a chance to already, we strongly recommend that customers take some time to run through our features to see if X is a good fit for what they’re envisioning.

Support I had purchased this theme and have had my developers install it. They not longer work for me and the site is down. they did not use my user name and now I cant reactiave on the new site. How do I reset so i can reinstall Again the site is down Ron

You will need to reinstall WordPress and start a new WordPress installation. Another option would be to get in touch with your hosting provider and ask them to reset your admin account in the database.
I think you have a misunderstanding. First the original site is erased and no longer in use. I went to reregister on your site and it said our code was registered under a different name.
I tried my email for lost password but it said my email was not present. That is the problem.
I think my information needs to be reset.

Hi, I just purchased your theme and I have a question regarding the logo size. What is the biggest width in terms of pixel I can use for the logo upload so that all devices (desktop, ipad, iphones, etc) are responsive and centered on all devices? I wanted to use a really big size for the desktop but when i view it on an Ipad or mobile it gets cut off. Is there anyway to fix this without using a smaller logo size? Thanks!

Hi, As your theme as a key installation system based on the URL, is it possible to install and work on a preprod hosting with your theme ?
Yes, you’re more than welcome to work in development environments. Our validation system only allows one active site per license, and can’t determine the purpose of each install. You may need to start by validating your development environment, then change the domain used by your license when you move to production.

I see that you your cornerstone page builder as well as you support the Visual Composer. Can I use both of them at the same time? Or should one be off for the other to work. If they can be used at the same time, can I have half of the page be designed with cornerstone and the rest with VC. Or is it like, I have to use it exclusively for a given page. Also, does the front end live changes work for the VC as well.

You would not use both at the same time. While both plugins can be run concurrently on the site, once you pick a path to edit a particular page with (be it Cornerstone or VC) you will want to stick with that path. VC has a front-end editor but users do report issues with it from time to time not being consistent. As it is a 3rd party tool, we simply integrate with it and make it an option for those customers who wish to use it with the vast majority of X customers now using Cornerstone. As far as Cornerstone is concerned, it is 100% front-end so you won’t have any issues on that side.

I took a look at your site, and it looks like you’re running the latest version of X, but not Cornerstone. You should see an update for that as well. I’m not sure what’s up with the navigation, but we’d be happy to help you investigate that. Could you open a new support request? If you include a link there, one of our developers can take a look and advise a solution for you.
Cornerstone doesnt show an update available, and shows as version 1.1.0 Ive posted in your forum, but doesnt seem like any nice way to find my post, or get notified of response.
now it just popped up with a 1.1.3 update, which ive just done.

Yes, we recommend the use of a child theme when you’re doing changes to the theme core files. Otherwise updating your theme would result into loss of those changes. All the best.

Hey guys. What an impressive theme. I was wondering, if this theme could be used as a job board, where jobseekers and employers both have profiles, that interact with each other? For example, if an employer posts a job, and a jobseeker applies to it, the employer can then see the application through the dashboard, avoiding receiving it in an email. Making everything happen within the site. Could this be achieved with X?

There is no X core functionality for this so you will need to custom develop this or use a plugin that can do this with you. We’re not officially supporting any job plugin so the integration would be something you have to do. If you have any other questions let us know.

Thanks for reaching out. We’re not aware of anyone promoting this kind of service, but you could connect with thousands of X professionals on Facebook. The group isn’t run by Themeco, but rather the community, and you’ll find many people who offer X specific services.
Keep in mind that as a theme, X comes with some inherent design. While PSD to HTML is always possible because you have a blank slate, PSD to X may not be a 1:1 process, as you’re marrying styles from two sources.
For what I understand X Theme is the best possible wordpress theme for SEO. I want to create all my new project with this template. Whats the best possible way to do so and learn on what is possible and not ? We like to work with psd. Is there any PSD Template ? Can you help me with that ?

If you’re building sites on X, I’d first start by learning the ins and outs of the theme in terms of what options are available and how that can get you closer to your designs and then what sort of custom CSS you might need on top of that. As previously mentioned, a PSD to HTML or completely custom WordPress theme is a different arena than trying to convert a PSD to fit into any pre-existing theme. Thanks!

I still have the old ones in the Themeforest package?
It says in the updatelog: we strongly encourage you to update your child theme to the newer conventions set forth by the WordPress community, which we began to implement with that release.

Hi! What do you think about the AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages)? Is it possible to implement with your theme? Or in any case, it is necessary to install a separate theme in a subdomain for mobile devices?
It looks like a great project. We don’t integrate with AMP, or have any plans to at the moment, but it’s something we’ve had our eyes on. Currently we don’t have a way to implement it.
X is responsive in nature, so you don’t need a separate installation or site for mobile. The styling of X will adapt to the device size, allowing content to be displayed appropriately on mobile without any changes. You can also fine tune this in pages by specifying sections that are hidden on desktop, and visible on mobile. For an example of this, take a look at our Integrity 1 demo. Resize your browser window, and notice how the content adapts to the width of the window.
