Hello.
I got a question about gallery. I uploaded images as the type of gallery at this page(http://www.street.co.kr/archives/11537). So, if I click one of images, I can see the image in full-screen mode. But, I can’t see left/right arrow icons at the both side in the PC after theme updating(ver.6.6.5). In the mobile, some people can see Chinese character instead of arrow icon, Others can see broken icon. It’s not a just smart list problem.
What can I do to see arrow icons?

in case I already have full licensed of Virtual composer+addons , can I use existing components with Newspaper theme instead of pre-activated of VC which come with the theme? (I want to use full features of VC+addons I already have)

We also provide the full version of Visual Composer plugin after we test the plugin for theme compatibility and I suggest to use the version provided with the theme as it is tested and it work properly. Regarding the Visual Composer addons you can try them but I cannot provided any answer if they work flawlessly with the theme as we did not tested any of this, sorry!

Hello, i have 2 questions. 1- Is there any way to show a text message only in home under the menu and before the posts?. For example: Thanks for coming + my like face button. 1. Yes, considering your description on this a customization like that can be done using Visual Composer’s page builder without having to edit and hard-code it directly in page’s templates like you woudl want it. Concerning post though you would have to edit module’s templates and add your code as you cannot add it using VC’s page-builder.
2. Yes, you would need customizations to have this just on your homepage and widgets but it can be done trough php conditions or hiding it using custom css code.

I am looking for an option to set the post layout on a category basis. Is this not possible? I only find general post layout, general category layout, and category layout per category, but not post layout per category.

I’m not really sure what you mean. If you need a setting to set a default post settings based on posts’s category I’m afraid that there isn’t one. You woudl have to customize the theme to use a default post template and use a customization like the one I’ve given in this regard here: http://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/override-post-template-settings/

Yeah, that will work, but is rather cumbersome. In my opinion it’s very logical to have an admin setting for setting a post template for a particular category. In fact it makes far more sense than the current setup with a default site wide post template that you can override on an individual post basis. That’s nice to have as well, but I think the option to set post templates on a category basis is more useful in daily operations.

I have deleted the Featured category but when I create that, the featured posts functions well but in the modules appears “Featured” category. I need to have it hidden.

You would have to add exceptions for it in all cases, you could do this using custom css but you can’t target just the featured category tag. Hi,
I’ve filtered but the Featured category appears in the categories tab of the block.
In your example (http://screencast.com/t/LR5ZIfuaCWO), not appears “Featured” on tabs. In my WP, appears. I remove filtering with ”-” and the category ID, and nothing happens. The category is not hidden :/
Can you help me with this?
Fixed. If I change the “main category” (the unique category that is not editable on WP) to “Featured” as name, and “featured” as slug, it functions as Featured, and not shows on the blocks.
Glad to find you’ve managed to solve this! In order for it to work like designed the featured category needs to have the “Featured” title and “featured” slug.

2. If you refer to video format posts: http://screencast.com/t/d4lLA0oliD0h then yes, every post page view counts as a page view.
3. Unfortunately we can’t offer speed customization services at the moment so we cannot help you on this. Sorry! If you need this implementations you would have to consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.

1. The theme doesn’t set automatically the video title as article title, you will have to add it manually(like we did on our demo). You will need custom modifications to auto set the article title and it is not an easy task, I suggest to hire a professional developer to do this for you as we are not available for custom services, sorry!
2. You can implement autoplay for youtube videos for example in the code as the theme doesn’t have an option in backend – http://screencast.com/t/an5tbBX6Kdy

How do I add an ad box at the bottom of the category pages – ie. on each category page i would like to have an advertisement at the bottom of the page but not in the footer section.

You can filter posts by multiple tags from block settings – http://screencast.com/t/WjFzf6SCo46Q but it will display all the posts from that specific tags. There is not option to display only posts that have those 2 tags, it takes all posts that have at least one of the selected tags.

I am having issues with ads.
I would like to have an ‘Article Inline Ad’ on some posts whilst having ‘Article Top Ad’ on other posts.
I have tried to use the V composer to add the ‘Article Inline Ad’ spot using the shortcode however this doesn’t work because:
- I can’t put my ad code in the ‘Article Inline Ad’ field within the theme settings as that would mean that all my posts would show it
- There is no way of turning off the ‘Article Top Ad’ for that particular post (which i have on all posts).

I created a page with the name of “ELAS”. I need to create a category with the same name to publish posts. How to make the category page “ELAS” is the page of the same name that have customized and not the default page of the category?

It is not good to have duplication on your site(the same name/title even it is category, page or post). The theme doesn’t have such an option to use Visual Composer for category page, so if you want to use a custom page you will need to use a redirect plugin.

In terms of speed we have made a page speed guide and covered the most important aspects that google notifies you of ( image optimization, js/css render blocking and more..) and based on which it classifies and grades your site’ regarding speed. You can find it here: http://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ The theme has been developed to be fast but it may still need configurations on this matters so test your site using google’s page speed insights testing tool and make sure you follow the guide instructions and methods then test your site again.

Hi I’m having an issue with the theme. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or if I have something configured incorrectly.
When selecting the ‘Default Template’ for my page, I have used the Visual Composer to include a sidebar however the left column spans the full width and the column content flows beneath all that. However, if I select either of the other two templates ‘Pagebuilder + Page Title’ or ‘Pagebuilder + Latest Articles + Pagination’, the sidebar holds its place. I really am needing the Default Template though.
I would definitely appreciate some insight on this. Thanks in advance!

Please make sure you use the child theme version provided with the current theme version that you use, you can find it in the code folder from package that you download from themeforest – http://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/ If you use the child theme it is recommended to check each theme update change log and make sure that among the modified files there aren’t any of the files you have customized and if there are make sure your customizations can still be done to those files and update those files code and add it customizations – http://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/

Yes it was the child theme that was provided in with the current theme version actually, and I hadn’t even updated any of the files in it yet.

Hi, I am an envato service provider and currently installing your theme for a client who has current content on his site.
I tried installing just the settings but it gave me nothing like the demo look, so my question is, if I install the demo content as a whole do I lose any of his current content or does it just install on top of that and keep his content?
