I understand the rule of a license for a installation. However, I have a question about using regular license. I did a test installation that will remove and then reinstall wp. Is there restriction using the template that way as often as necessary? Is it possible to use it in an installation in local machine (no site live, test purposes) than the production site?

Note that one theme purchase/licence is valid for one live site (one live WordPress installation). You can of course use it for testing on your local WordPress installation , no restrictions for that.

In your WP admin, go to Pages -> this Homepage, and in the content area, in the very first row, you should see a Separator element inserted, so you can delete it if you don’t want it, or just change the color of it!

This message means that theme zip file is larger than max upload file size allowed in configuration of your server. Please either increase that limit or upload the theme via ftp (second method explained in our documentation you got with theme files).

Your “Bridge” theme looks very nice.
Some questions please:
1 — There are two “exclamation marks” in the main menu of your demo sites (one in a square and another in a green circle). The square one also opens a small window over the menu. Is this a feature of your theme? Can we use these awesome “exclamation marks” too?
2 — Is it possible to use the “Layer Slider” on all pages in order to create header banners with self-hosted videos (mp4 files)?
3 — Does the theme work in the Edge browser too (Edge isn’t listed under “compatible browsers”)?

1. This is a custom feature created for our demo site, not a part of the theme. But our support team can point you out on how to enable it for your site as well, so you can use them too.
2. Yes, layer slider can be used on all pages. You can also use our own Qode Slider for that.
3. Yes, the theme is fully compatible with Microsoft Edge browser as well.

Hello, at first I want to thank you very much for Bridge theme. It’s awesome, flexible and very useful. I bought it two times, for two of my clients and I think that’s not my last word.
I have question about portfolio-list I downloaded and installed plugin “Post Tags and Categories for Pages” to add categories to my pages. It works, but I’m not sure how can I create “page-list” by category as existing “portfolio list” I think I should do some kind of modification to portfolio-list shortcode, to add also pages with category, but I don’t have idea how to do it.
Or maybe there is other solution to my need. Do you have any idea?

We’re not really sure how this plugin works, but note that portfolio list element offers you the ability to create a one-category only list , by writing the category slug in element settings http://screencast.com/t/YxRskrI7
That way, you can create multiple pages, and on each one to use Portfolio List element, that will use only one category items. Hope this is what you’re looking for.

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, this solution is not working for me, because when I did this, it doesn’t show category added to page / doesn’t show page on the list. So I think that must be something with the portfolio-list shortcode which shows only portfolio projects with category but not pages with category.

Also note, that you have the option to use default portfolio category archive pages, that will take the same layout you set for blog archive pages.

Depends on compression and quality. If video isn’t large enough and is w/o sharp details (can be compressed) you can go with larger resolution. Basically, you need to create balance between final output on page and overall page loading time.

Hi there, I’m having 2 questions regarding the Side Area widget. The width of it seems huge, is there a way to make it narrower as in http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge3/ ? Fiddling with the percentages (in Header > Side Area) doesn’t seem to work, maybe enter a pixel value somehow?
Then, I couldn’t manage to add icons to the menu I’ve declared in the widget. I understand (via another user’s reply) that this should be entered manually in the menu item’s label, however this didn’t work for me. Could you provide the proper syntax? Thanks

You need to have minimum 30% set for side area width, and note that you need to enter only number in that field, w/o percentage sign.

There is a bug with Qode Options->Qode Slider button settings. When you set up the style for Button 1 and Button 2, and if on Slide you enable Button 2, the Hover text color is always white, no matter which color you choose in color picker in Button 2 settings in Qode Options. For button 1 it works fine.
