1. Sure! In the Customizer, you can decide to globally use a boxed layout or not. Then per page (like the Integrity 1 homepage) you can override this preference as needed. So if you don’t want boxes, it’s just as easy to make that a global setting.

2. X has an area under the navigation, but before the content that can be configured on a per page basis. It’s setup for showing a slider, so you could create a Revolution Slider (plugin included free with X) per page. It’s not as straightforward as a static cover image, but can serve the same purpose.

And as a software developer I understand your sensitivity on this issue. You’re right but I say this as advice that you can include a black video and simple free images for slider in full demo content so your customers questions will be not asked repeatedly to yourself for create a usable slider and you can reduced your workload. You teach to customers the use slider for customer satisfaction but you do not have to do it. Effectiveness of the design of this theme also proportional to the slider mechanism, so we want to see a slider like integrity demo 1.

Yes, this is possible. If you set a featured image on the post, it will show the audio player at the bottom of that image. Here’s an example. It’s also possible through our audio shortcode to add additional players wherever needed. They are styled and behave identically to the ones used on the blog.

You can install demo content from X Addons > Demo Content in your dashboard. The standard demos give you a fully designed homepage with placeholder content and images. It will also setup the Customizer settings to provide a global design for your site. The standard demos don’t include additional pages. The expanded demos include full pages and royalty free images, so you can simply replace the text and branding to have a ready to go site.

and how do i add the icons on the right of the SHOP link, there is a chat bubble icon and a man icon with pages in them, how do i add them, as i want to add the login page there and the members page in there like in the main demo of integrity.

The plus button is the “Header Widget Area”. You can enable this under the Header settings in Customizer. Then you can go to Appearance > Sidebars in your dashboard to add widgets. Our demo widget ares just use text widget with HTML.

As for the member and forum functionality, this is part of having the BuddyPress and bbPress plugins active. X integrates with them to provide styling. Typically these plugins aren’t used with shops, but our main demos are setup to show as many theme features as possible.

The headers are not currently setup where you could create that out of the box, however we do have an optional feature called TopBar that you can see demoed here. It allows you to place text on the left and social icons on the right. That would be the closest thing out of the box currently available.

No, the feature is set to not play on mobile devices and instead show a background image. This is much more performant as a video feature like that on a mobile device presents many challenges from a performance and usability point of view.

First, make sure the page you want is assigned as the home page from Settings > Reading in your dashboard. Next, edit that page and look under the Slider Settings> metabox (below the content editor). You’ll be able to assign any of your existing sliders above or below the masthead.

No, as that is a 3rd party plugin not officially integrated we do not provide support or guarantee compatibility, however many of our customers use UberMenu and the developers have created their own documentation for integration with X.

Thanks for writing in! Regarding the output of CSS to the <head>, this is WordPress’ recommended guideline followed by nearly all themes that utilize generated styles. If you find you must move them for any particular reason, you’ll need to manually move them to an external stylesheet, which you can enqueue via a child theme, and then you can look into making some alterations to the x_output_generated_styles() function in X via your child theme as well. You can unhook some actions if needed, et cetera.
