I just updated to 5.7.1 and I got many problems with the new featured area… Previously I can choose what article put on slider and what article put on the right section. Now it seems works only with tag (I used up) and date… older article on right section. I want to choose, as previous version, what goes on slider and what goese on right section… How can I do that?
Plus… - Now I got excerpt and tag also in slider, I want remove it, previous css doesn’t work anymore - Now on the right section there’s only image and tag… I want back title and no tag as previous version Thanks
Hi. This function was deleted because it has too much requests from database. But, if you want, you still can do this with visual composer. Steps next:

I hate visual composer… Can I go back to 5.6.1?
For such cases, last version has all modules working as theme shortcode. So VC is only control method for them. This means, that you can use just shortcode instead of VC.

thanks for the constant updates and improvements. 
Is there a way to have a WooCommerce PRODUCTS (not posts) carousel/slider using what modules there are already there? I would hate to add another plugin to do this, only to find there’s already a way to do it. I know I can use the image carousel, but that’s a lot of extra work updating it each day.

Oops, how did I miss that! It says for row with sidebar, which I don’t have, but it seems to work perfectly anyway, great. I think I know the answer already, but just in case, any way to select which products show in the carousel depending on the products attribute? I have online deals and local deals, but I didn’t set categories for these, or tags, (on purpose).

Currently, yes and no. Default woo carousel doesn’t have this (but it’s good suggestion). But there is such possibility in default post carousel (which can also display woocommerce posts, but without button and price)

Last version of carousel module supports any custom type and custom taxonomy. So, you can have woo posts inside post carousel, but without prices and buttons like in woocommerce carousel
Hi, when you say “carousel module”, which one exactly do you mean? I can’t see any way to display products apart from using the “Woo commerce product carousel”, as above. I’ve since realised that I can’t show products in random order with that module either, so that definitely rules it out for me. (my products are added by Vendor, so the last Vendor’s products would dominate each time and fill the carousel). Thanks.

In “Data source” I only have “Category or tag” option. There is a drop down arrow, but it only shows the same thing. This is in both Post Carousel and Deal Carousel Block modules.

Maybe this is because you have child theme with old visual composer modules. Check your child theme and find file functions/vc_functions – do you have it?

Also, I notice when you are on my site, you only have “General” and “Carousel control” tabs for the element, but I have those 2 PLUS “Data settings”.
Are you definitely still talking about the “Post carousel” module/element?
If you have data settings – you have correct module. So, in this case, what is not working?

Yes, choose for base – Manual adding and sorting, then you can specify names of products (autocomplete is enabled, so, it will be easy).
About fix – it was my mistake. I added fix early for VC (because it had a bug). Then, in last version they fixed bug, but my fix became a bug. This is bug only in Firefox, other browsers are working, that’s why I didn’t find problem on your site in first time when I checked

Of course. But you need to be more specific. There are different functions for coupon sites. And there are many sources to get coupon datas. Theme has different ways to use. There are some inner functions, there are many ways to use our plugins and affiliate plugins. If you tell me where you plan to take offer data, I will advice you the best function of theme for this

Yes, you can use. In this case, maybe it’s better to activate license on testing site. You will get access to additional plugins and demo stacks on test site which you can use then on live

I want users (no registrations required) to be able to post as many reviews as they want. I must approve them before they post. Right now it only allows them to rate only one time, then they can only add comments. Where do I change this setting?
You can’t do this. But it’s possible with plugin Reviewer. I will work soon for some custom work for this plugin and can also send you this customization

all of answers are YES. But, tell me more about product reviews. Currently, it’s possible for users to add posts (or any custom post), but they can’t add reviews ( I mean with criterias, scores, etc) with post. For reviews – it’s possible to add them in existing posts. Maybe you can tell me example where you want to use it and I will answer if this is possible
Regarding product reviews, my idea is this: users can add any product review post from the front end without need to do criteria setting, which shall be done by back end admins. So, users can act as authors, write product review, and let other users scores it.
By the way, from the category directory demo homepage, is it possible to have button for sorting by rating/views/comments/trending next to each category title?
Currently, they can add posts, product offers, but they can’t add review boxes from frontend. This is in TODO list on future.

You need just to edit this page in visual composer and save it again. Some modules were changed. Featured area has the same name, but choose in type of slider “full width” slider. For carousel – use post carousel module. If you need, I can send you example of VC shortcodes from updated rething theme

I changed homepage according to new modules. Note, that video module was changed to video playlist, so, currently I added another module to your site (which also shows video posts), now you can use any module to show video posts. Standard video module will show video gallery direct from youtube or vimeo

Hi, as i use an older version of the theme on my website, i rarly update because i changed some theme files but now i need to.
I noticed that some effects and styles changed. For example on my website https://www.coffee-heroes.com/ when you look at the menu it has a glow effect and the menu does look different. Also it has dividers btzw menu points. How can i get this look with the new version?
Another Problem is i cant figure out how to configure my typo exactly the same as before. I tried all open sans condensed options but it still looks ugly. 
Can i just copy over the old css?

First of all – you don’t need glow effect. It looks very bad on black background, this is why I deleted it.
For making menu as early – try to use next code

Hi Igor, I have one problem with the logo on latest version from rehub thing 5.7.1
On options panel i have set Logo+Menu. I have upload a Logo with 280×90 pixels and I have enabled this: Enable compact logo of header on mobiles and uploded a mobile logo Image 124×40 pixels.
I have a 15 Zoll Laptop it’s wider than 1200px and on my css console is this activ:
media=”all” a.logo_image_inmenu img { max-height: 40px; max-width: 180px; }
and the inspected Image on Laptop view ist the Image for mobile devices. Can you help me? to solve this? kind regards drew
Logo in menu has only 180px wide. Because 280 is too big logo to place it in one row with menu
If you have short menu, you can delete this limitation.

Upload Logo for mobiles and sticky menu Upload your logo. Max height is 40px. By default, your main logo will be used.

You are right. This is a bug. Currently, you can deactivate logo for mobile menu, because for layout “menu + logo”, logo will be visible also in mobile menu. After fix, logo for mobiles will work as expected

For user ratings. Note, that user can rate post only once. So, if you already rated post – you can’t see rating form
