hello, there is a problem with the css for the social share dropdowns for the current blog posts… When viewing on mobile and the blog posts are stacked on top of eachother the social share icons are behind the main photo for the next block. I tried changing the z-index and it does not fix. Can you help?

The social share feature is not using the featured image when sharing a page or portfolio item to facebook. It seems to be using a random photo from each page or portfolio.
Also, the share function isn’t working at all on mobile.
I saw in the support area that you advised using Yoast, but I prefer not to use a plugin for this simple function. Also, I’ve already populated my pages and portfolios using your native seo fields and do not want to have to redo all of that in the Yoast fields.
Please help me with this, as I’ve just made the site live and these share features need to be resolved asap.

You will have to use some third party plugin that is handling open graph protocol – protocol that is defining final share output.

Like we explained : you need a plugin that handles open graph protocols. That won’t have any effect on the icons, just for the tags that are used for the shared content! The icons will remain totally the same.

I have the Social Share option enabled and have Pages selected along with Portfolio Items. The icons appear on blog posts & portfolios, but not on my pages.

Enabling Social Share option displays the icons by default on posts and portfolios, but for the pages, you need to add Social Share element from Visual Composer somewhere in the content of your page, to enable your viewers to share your page via social networks

Ok, gotcha. But when I just tried adding the [social_share] shortcode to my page, it looks entirely different from the ones on the posts & portfolios. Instead of the square boxes, it displays the share symbol in black instead of grey, and then a drop-down appears in black on while instead of grey on white, with different styling from the the post & portfolio ones.
Is there not a way to have them appear the same way on pages that they do on posts & portfolios?

Yes, this doesn’t look completely the same like default posts/portfolio share feature.
You could apply some css styles for page share, to make it more similar to that native sharing. If you need help with css, submit a private ticket to https://select.ticksy.com, with a link to your site, and our support team can provide some css to style it more close to default one.

Hi, why function ” IMAGE HOVER ” get worse my images? I upload logo (from black & white logo -> to color logo) and that is pixelated. If I uploaded only one piece of animation (bw or color), that is ok.

I guess you’re referring to background image of footer? On our demo site we used 1920×400px photo. It’s important for the photo to be wide, exactly to prevent ugly stretching on very wide monitors.

The logo size is restricted by header size you set in Select Options -> Header -> Header height.

Hi, great theme. Is there a reason why when editing a Portfolio page, that when you switch from Full Screen to Ribbon, it requires you to reupload all the images again? I have several pages that I want to change from Full Screen to Ribbon, but don’t want to have to reinsert all the images again. Any way to get around that? Thanks!

If you’re referring to portfolio single and change of predefined layouts to custom one – well this is how it’s working. Predefined layouts do call/render portfolio images/videos while you have to insert them manually in content (like you’re building new page) in using custom layout.
Hopefully this will help you a bit to understand what is going on under the hood.

The same as in our Stockholm theme – you could use Portfolio functionality for this – to create each of your model as a new portfolio item. You can make a page like this http://demo.select-themes.com/soho/five-columns-wide-standard/ that will have all your models listed – and when clicking on image or name you enter a single portfolio page (single model page) in your case.

Yes, you can create two master/parent categories, each one for two of portfolio pages you have now. Then, assign current Portfolio categories you have now to be children of previously mentioned two master/parent cats. This way you will achieve that Portfolio list elements are shown on one page only.
