Thanks for your message, glad you like our theme. Yes, it’s possible, for every portfolio item, you can set it’s featured image in masonry list to take you to external page – not to single portfolio page.

QUESTION: We’ve imported bridge74 demo along with all content however under wordpress dashboard-Pages it’s missing most of the BLOG, SHOP, WORK and ELEMENTS demo pages. How do we import them if we want to use those templates, also is there a specific tutorial in modifying and setting these demo pages.

If the demo import was done properly, you should have this totally same looking site, with all the pages and content from it, nothing more.

Like we mentioned, demo 74 does not have this pages. Of course you can use blog and any element in this demo, you just need to create them your self, because you can only have one demo imported at a time – otherwise the content gets overridden and duplicated causing improper theme behavior.
You can easily combine various features from different demos. The suggested way of doing this is creating a WordPress local development environment with as many demo sites as you need to import the demos you’re looking to combine. Now you can safely take a look at the back-end of each demo that you’re going to use a feature from and either copy the necessary content or replicate a setting to your live site.

After you have updated Bridge theme to the latest version (8.0), make sure to update Visual Composer plugin as well, to the latest included version (4.9.2)
You can upgrade Visual Composer by performing following steps:
1. Please make sure main theme is activated while performing other steps
2. Go to Plugins page in your WordPress Dashboard, locate Visual Composer in the list, deactivate it and delete it
3. You will see message that required plugin is missing at the top of your WordPress Dashboard
4. Install the plugin and then activate it

For each post, in Posts -> each post, you can use excerpt field to write the excerpt for that post (if you don’t have this field, click Screen Options in top-right corner, and check excerpt).
Write there the text for each post’s excerpt, and you can insert html break row tag to go to next line.

You need to create your social icons on some empty page, and then to copy the shortcodes for them in Text widget inside desired Widget area, in this specific case Header Bottom Right from Appearance -> Widgets.

Hi, im trying to use the Qode slider for my homepage as used in the theme demo. But it seems that the sliders arent full screen, also the slider navigation arent aligned vertically. it works normal when i resize to bigger or smaller screen but i need it to be consistent as in full screen and vertical aligned with the screen

Our Qode Slider is always taking up a full screen width by default, and also a full height if you haven’t set a fixed height for your slider in slider’s shortcode.

I have 2 columns in a tab. While I can centre a graphic in one of the columns, I don’t seem to be able to do it with a button. Unlike working outside of a tab, I can put the button into a row and centre the row. Any help for centring in a column in a tab? Thanks!

When I natively insert YouTube videos within my content pages by just copying and pasting the link and allowing WordPress to embed it, the video takes up the full width and covers my sidebar.

Yes, that’s the default behavior. You should paste the link in some column to get desired width, or what’s recommended, use Video player element from Visual Composer to embed youtube videos.

First make sure that you didn’t write px , only the number in this field, so for example enter only 70 .
Also note, the calculation of this amount starts after Slider , it can not calculate while scrolling over the main slider, if you’re using it.

Hi, i’m quite interested in buying this theme… Just a few questions regarding the demo I like – Bridge Skin Care Demo – (Demo 79 – http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge79/ ):
1). Does the landing/home page gallery/slider display images at the native resolution, or does it resize all imagery to it’s own crop and resolution pre-specified? – I put a lot of effort into resizing imagery to look as sharp as possible, many images being 1024 wide for example, but many themes ignore this and resize the image, ruining quality.
2). On the homepage slider, can the image have no text or read more button, and have the image linked to a portfolio entry on that specific image, simply by clicking on the photo itself?
3). Is it possible to apply custom background patterns? And would that background be visible over the complete site or would it get broken up by theme functions etc…? I would like to go for a dark look using my current dark grey sandpaper pattern www.timwecke.com
4). Is it possible to make portfolio entries/posts display the image in the center, bigger (native resolution) with the text below the image? like such… http://www.timwecke.com/portfolio/7th-wonder-part-ii/
5). Does the theme have the ability to create a drop shadow behind any image? Specifically the main homepage slider/gallery?

1. We used Layer Slider plugin for this page. It shows the image across the full width (without frame/passepartout ) but you can set desired width if you want, and in slider settings you can specify the desired height for it if you want. The images will resize responsively on smaller screens.
2. Yes, each photo inside layer slider can be a link, and you don’t need to use text and buttons over it of course. Also, note that we have portfolio slider element, that can display the slider of your portfolio items.
3. Yes, for each row you can set background pattern. You can also set it for entire body like on the site you pointed to!
4. Yes, you can use our Portfolio Big Image type (you can use one photo instead of three like we did on this demo) http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge/portfolio_page/stockholm-fashion-destination/
5. Some elements like portfolio list, or Image Hover offer such a possibility yes.
6. Yes, it’s possible.
