There seems to be an issue with your server which does not accept AJAX data submitting.

In this case you need to contact your host and ask if mod_sec is active, because it prevents some WordPress plugins to work normally.

1 – That page is not using Aurum theme anymore, I see it’s a different theme.

3 – As said above, the theme used in that site is not Aurum, they have changed the theme to Atelier.

If you want to that all images to appear on the same size you can use Titles inside portfolio layout.

1: I have changed the layout from ‘Titles Inside + Masonry Layout’ to ‘Titles Inside’ but that does not seem to solve the issue. I am aware that some images aren’t the exact full size, but I hoped the thumbnails would have a forced set same size somehow.

2: Other issue I just ran into is that when I set the portfolio page as a static home page, it centers the heading and reduces the font in size instead of keeping it aligned to the left and set size. I checked the custom CSS settings for this and thought it had something to do with: .blog .section-title, .home .section-title { text-align: center !important;

I removed the .home .section title and that fixes the aligning issue but not the font issue. Hope you have the last bit for me.

1. On my homepage (www.romanrobroek.nl) I have a portfolio / gallery which works fine in general, except for when I filter a category (for example ‘Entertainment’) and I click on lets say the fourth or fifth picture it opens a Lightbox with the first picture of that filter instead of the one I clicked on. While when I don’t filter a category (set to: ‘All’) and I click on whichever picture it opens a Lightbox with the picture I just clicked on. How would I fix that?

2. I would like to change (smaller) the font size of the text below ‘I’m Roman’ on the homepage (www.romanrobroek.nl). I believe that is the autotype line. How should I do that?

3. When I click on the image of a product on the product page (for example: http://romanrobroek.nl/product/abandoned-workspace/) it opens a double Lightbox (have to click on the X twice). I would just like to be one, how would I resolve that?

4. I read in the comments that you are working on adding a sidebar to blog posts in a new update, that’s great news! I’m looking forward to that. Is it in the meantime possible to change the width of the blog post since I would like it to be smaller (for example: http://romanrobroek.nl/making-of-hypercube/)?

3. This does not usually happen, but it may be that you’re using any 3rd party plugin which has it’s own lightbox and it has been applied in all of your elements.

3. Was easier fixed then expected. On the Woocommerce > Settings > Product > Display page on the bottom is an option to ‘Enable Lightbox for product images’. This was why a double Lightbox was opened. I disabled this option and the issue is solved.

Hello again!

I was wondering, is there a way to add some sort of gallery inside a blog post? Not in the header, but I would like to add several images (thumbnail size) in one line in a blog post so the readers can either navigate through them or click them in a row. I tried adding, for example, 3 images and aligning them left – center – right but that just looks off.

Wondering if you have a standard way of doing this.

Unfortunately there isn’t any gallery grid included but you can add and align them on the left to make it like a grid, then it will sort up and show little thumbnails, we are checking to make the Visual Composer fully compatible in the post so then you can add whatever element you want.

After the update to version 1.9 something seems to be going wrong in the portfolio on my website (http://romanrobroek.nl). When I filter, for example on Entertainment, and I click a random image it opens that image which is good. But at the top left corner I can see that all the images are loaded instead of the filtered ones (based on the number), and when click next or previous it goes to the next or previous image without the filter.

The auto-type text i have chosen is to big for phones / tablets. Looks good on a laptop but i would like to disable this function for responsive only. Is that possible? To have it work as normal on laptop, but disable it only for phones / tablets..

Can you please enable WP Debug Mode because I am not able to exactly know what kind of issue is this.

To turn on WP Debug Mode, follow these steps:

1. Open wp-config.php

2. Find WP_DEBUG constant (written as define('WP_DEBUG', false);)

3. Set value to true (define('WP_DEBUG', true);) and save file.

4. Go to the same page, refresh it and you will see a PHP warning or fatal error being display. Copy the error or better send me the screenshot so I will be able to understand what kind of issue is that and will give you proper fix to it.

You can upload screenshots on this site if you don’t know any other service.

Apparently it was the woocommerce -plugin that crashed it. Up and running now, but still don’t get the option of a third tab that says “responsive options” as you print screened me.

Not sure what exactly do you mean here, position of which text, can you please send me a screenshot of that part so I can tell you if that is possible.

acf-fields.php is file generated by ACF plugin, and I am not sure how it handles ordering, you may ask this question in their forum.

Custom Fields are all translatable and they work fine with WPML or qTranslate.

ACF fields that comes in our theme are exported as PHP code and they work that way ACF developer suggests other developers who implement his library in their themes, so we do the same.

These fields are not meant to be edited by users because it will change the functionality of the theme. You may insert new fields but modifying existing ones will lead to troubles when new update of the theme is out.

Ah, ok I understand. What I would like to do is change the order of the tabs in the Parameters in the portfolio items. I want the Portfolio gallery Tab to either be the first and active one or a separate box. It makes no sense that it is so hidden. I am making a website for a client and want to make it as easy as possible.

Unfortunately changing the values of ‘menu-order’ in acf-fields.php has no effect. As far as I can tell this is because you are using AJAX to load and format the fields.

I am of course using a child-theme, so updates are still possible. I also tried ACF Pro, which should work looking at the code, but totally breaks the backend boxes and most of them just disappear.

I don’t mean to be able to translate the contents of custom fields, but the labels and explanations. They don’t appear in the .po file if I open that in poedit. I am using the website in german and have translated a lot of the strings already, but all those regarding the custom fields coming from acf have to be edited in acf-fields.php.

Also the problem is, that I cant add new custom fields or groups, because there is no UI for ACF present. So how can I add new ones? How can I at least unhide the UI to make new field groups? Just because you are using a plugin for your theme shouldn’t mean that the plugin is now unavailable to us, especially since the pro version overrides and breaks everything so is also unavailable.

I understand what do you mean here, but the code ACF generates is just pasted without any change, you may change the order by dragging and dropping fields directly via admin panel, the order will remain the same as long as user will not change it:

This is the only way to do that.

As for label translations, the code generated by ACF is not i18n ready, here you will see:

So the only way is to manually do the translation.

To be see that ACF Custom Fields menu field download this file: http://drops.laborator.co/1ibEW+ and replace it in this directory (of the theme): kalium/inc/

It won’t change in theme update as well.

Thanks for that. I now have access to ACF in the backend to add additional stuff.

I still cannot hide or rearrange any of the tabs though. It looks different for me as well. They are not separate boxes, but in one box with tabs.

Deselecting items in Screen Options breaks the whole Parameters & Options box and the tabs remain visible. How can I get rid of the tabs box and have them all separate like in your screenshot? That would solve all my problems with hiding and rearranging.

As a matter of fact I just noticed that disabling acf LITE also breaks the parameters box.

If I disable the whole grouped thing in functions.php on line 56, then I get the boxes separately and can rearrange them. If I deselect something in Screen Options it gets hidden as well. But as soon as I save all the boxes reappear, even though they are still deselected in Screen Options. Grr, how can I hide the boxes that I dont need!?
