Looking through some comments, I saw mixed answers on whether revolution slider works with Bridge, or not. Can you tell me if it does?

Yes, it does work. We haven’t tested Revolution Slider officially in our theme, but users use it without any issues, you just need to disable Smooth Scroll option in Qode Options -> General.

hello, i have found bugs in the following: 1. Theme bridge68 – in home page where portfolio (OUR LATEST PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECTS AND MORE…) is shown for firefox on mac with 3 columns and with white spacing in between. So it is not 4 columns like in the demo on chrome. 2. The layerslider for IE11 is not showing.

Hi, I purchased this theme yesterday not realising how big the file is. I have removed any files relating to eCommerce as I only intend on having a simple one page sites as per the demos. How can I reduce the theme size further? I have a 10gb limit on hosting.

The bridge.zip file is 17MB large, and unziped theme folder takes up about 30MB on your hosting.
That’s totally normal size for WordPress themes.
Now, the rest depends on demo and the content you upload, plugins you install etc… One page demo should take take too much.

No, it is working fine right now. When I used the same code in the Simple Custom CSS plugin it was not working for smaller screens. Very weird.

Great theme! I’m loving it so far! I have 2 questions:
- Is it possible to have a button at a single blog page that sends you back to the blog grid? (Like portfolio has a ‘back to portfolio’ button) - The portfolio slider shows navigation arrows when there’s only one single image in the slider. It looks a bit weird, can i remove the arrows when there’s only one image to display?

1. There’s no such button by default. You could however activate content bottom widget area for all your single posts http://screencast.com/t/9kaHo4veeY , and set it to display some custom widget area you have previously created in Appearance -> Widgets, that will have only button for taking you back to blog page.
2. Are you referring to Portfolio single with the slider type, or Portfolio Slider element from Visual Composer? For portfolio single pages, if you have only one photo – don’t choose slider type for portfolio, but big/small images.

This looks to be Icon With Text element. In your WP admin , you should go to Pages -> this page where this is on, and in Visual Composer you shall see Icon With Text element added, click to edit it, and there should be settings for the colors, as well as text field for this text.

Unfortunately there is no answer by the official support, so I try it here: After installing the theme and the plugins I tried to import the demo content “Original” with the Qode Import, and after with the XML-Import. But only the menu, the widgets and the images have been imported – no pages, no posts, no portfolio, no galleries… Any ideas? Can You please help? Best regards, Markus

Hi, it seems possible to replace Layer Slider with Revolution Slider, Master Slider, or any number of other sliders, however – autoplay (on all alternative sliders) seems to stop working whenever you use the menus toggle-dropdown sub menu, as if there is some sort of on-click conflict with the sliders. The problem with Layer Slider, and the need for an alternative HTML5 slider, is that it’s not actually optimised for mobile devices (you can’t get it to go fullscreen on an iPhone or tablet like you can with the qode slider). The problem with Qode slider is that it’s built on Flex Slider, and Flex Slider doesn’t have as many animation or template options as Layer Slider. Revolution Slider and Master Slider solve this problem, but I was wondering if there is any way to get them Bridge drop-down toggle to play ball so that it doesn’t stop other types of sliders from auto-cycling through slides? I think it might be Bootstrap toggle related (if that’s what you use) as I have tested and bootstrap JS stops these sliders (on a test theme I’ve built) from auto-cycling as well. Any help gratefully appreciated!

We support LayerSlider plugin within our theme. Have you tried to set for Layer Slider , in slider settings, height to be 100vh !important

Thanks, unfortunately it only accepts a fixed px height in the settings, percentages and vh don’t work, no slider is displayed.
I’d be happy to stick with Layer Slider, if there is a way for it to support full-screen mode. 100% VH is not very good on Apple devices, because it negates the 60px height of the address bar and doesn’t actually fill the viewport. Thanks, Lee

Yes, Layer Slider by default doesn’t come with this option but that trick with setting slider height to 100vh !important; should work, we advised several users that so far, and we got positive feedbacks.
Also, some calc function can be also used there, to detract header height value.

I have tried finding the item and doing a “display:none” but looks like it is hard coded. I could not find it in options or VC option panel.

You just need to create a page, on which you will add some Visual Composer’s element for displaying the list of your products – for example Products element from VC.
And then, set that page to have a sidebar on the side you want, and set it to display custom sidebar you have previously created in Appearance -> Widgets.
