Great theme!
I’m really interested in buying this for my project but need to clarify some points:
1. I only want to list courses for online booking rather than run full courses online with video or test… what are the exact plugin’s I would require just for course directory listings?
2. What is the payment gateway or plugin used and does this support PayPal, if so is it free?
3. I don’t want to run forums or communities… do I really need BuddyPress?

1. Yes, a lot of users are using this theme for directory purpose alone. There is an option using which you can disable the course pursue part, so when a user purchases the course no more actions are required. Every plugin is built for a specific job, so you do not need the assignments,
2. It uses WooCommerce which supports PayPal, so it is free.
3. Yes this is a buddypress theme. However you can turn off all the other social components in buddypress like, notifications, friends, private messaging, groups, activity, forums and use it for plain membership.

Of course, create a slider in WP Admin – LayerSlider or Slider Revolution and then create/edit a page, locate the page builder, enable it, and drag the fullscreen stripe layout block, inside this block drag the Revslider/Layerslider block and select your slider. Refer Pagebuilder guide in documentation, let me know if you need further help.
I defined step by step and saved, but when I check the page , not displayed the slider.What should I do ?

I know that Page builder and visual composer We can use at the same time. But I have a problem, when I use at the same time always page builder is going up to visual composer componentes. How Can I do for Page builder components go down to Visual composer components?

You need to activate the child theme before activating the parent theme. Refer reset tutorial, install tutorial
If a user retakes the course, is the certificate’s date updated with the new date of completion?
Yes, the user certificate is removed upon retake and when she finishes a course again the most recent completion date from activity is displayed on the certificate
I purchased theme week and half ago I attempted to join your WPLMS form with my license key and keyed in the wrong email address to get my pass code! I tried to key in my license key again but the system would not take it can you email me with what I need to do to get into the forum or can you send me a passcode to get in to the WPLMS forum via my email? as you should have it on file! Are you referring to link color ? The color of all the links including course titles is controlled from Customiser – Body – link color

Is it just me or have all the WPLMS emails stopped working?
There is a pending bug between WPLMS emails and BuddyPress 2.5.1 emails. The pending issue is that BuddyPress template is not applying on buddypress emails. I am currently working on it for the 2.0.8 release releasing this week.

2.0.8 has not fixed the email issue. This is quite a big deal as students are not receiving their course registration or course notifications. It also affect BadgeOS emails.

Assuming that you’re referring notifications as emails. The wplms emails are working fine in our test setups, In case these are not working for your site please create a support topic in forums and share the credentials so that we can check or send me an email via profile contact form.
Hi,
I see that When an Instructor edit a course previously created in front end, all the changes are automatically visible for everyone. How do I prevent this?
For example An instructor create a Marketing Course. I have 10 students in this course. The instructor decide change the course and break videos or erase information. How Can I prevent this and all changes must be approved befores it is online?
When a course is live it can´t be change without aprove all the changes. People could put information that can´t be aproved like porn or videos with copyright, etc..
Another thing, In front end If I make changes all is live, only if I click on send to approval it is on draft, how ever all the students that are in the course see the changes in live. It is dangerous.

Where can I download Modern Theme 2.0.6?
It is inside the theme package. Download the theme package, locate the child themes folder and you’ll see the wplms_modern.zip file which is the modern theme.

2. In course page How Can I see the course curriculum open without click on + button. It is better If when I load the page and I see the curriculum displayed, but it always is closed and I must click on + button to see curriculum.

1. It would depend upon which theme are you using. In modern child theme you get a setting in WP Admin – WPLMS – Course manager – related posts style, setting it to none removes it.
2. You disable the accordion style of curriculum from WP Admin – LMS – Settings – Course Status – Accordion style curriculum.

I meant if you can test with one of your users in your sandbox? I think maybe something went wrong with one recent update. I just tested again with another pc/browser and the problem persist.
I confirmed this as I created the video after you posted the comment. This issue has not been asked in support forums and neither it is added in the Trello bugs list. So, maybe the issue is in your setup & I can check this in your site. I am assuming that when you’re testing as Instructor, you’re testing as “instructor” and not as Administrator. Administrator has more rights than instructors, so you need to test this with a user who has instructor user role in your site.

Resolved & replied on mail, it seems the issue was resolved previously but some other plugin is overriding the theme settings, so we had to raise the priority of theme functions to make it work on your site. This fix has also been included in the next update.

Hi! No, its the main pictures that is on the courses and blog. The yellow with the bike, the green with the computer. I see them in some sites and would like to keep the visual aspect since its Beautiful. Its an icon set or something? Thanks!
These are included in the demo sample data, the images are either free or purchased under extended license so you can use it in your site. Download the package you’ll see a sample data plugin folder unzip any sample data plugin and inside the unzipped folder you’ll see a data folder which contains all the images used in the demo. Let me know if you need more help, you can also download these images directly from the demo itself.

I want to hide some menu based on role.
Like students ain’t supposed to be seeing instructor. Is there any way to accomplish that ?
I tried using Nav Menu Role plugin to accomplish something like that but it isn’t working. How can I do that ? Thanks.
Yes that is available, no need for a plugin. There is a setting which you need to enable and then you can build custom menu for that role. Currently, 3 menu types are supported : Logged out, Logged in, Instructor only.

Yes tentative date was this week but we need to release version 2.0.8 before batches so that the changes required for the feature are included. So batches would be released after the 2.0.8 update. The development for this is complete.
