Hi there, in order to keep development, stage and prod aligned I will need to have the theme and related extensions activated on all three areas, however, there is still only one production area. Does X support that approach or will I end up in being asked to buy three licenses in order to have same functionality / config in the development / testing area? (dev and stage are on different servers with different names/IPs)

Thanks for writing in! At this time, validation only supports one website at a time, but we do plan to launch development validation soon, which will allow for the addition of one development environment with each license on your localhost as needed. Keep in mind that validation does not lock you out of any theme features, it simply automates certain processes (i.e. automatic updates, quick installation of Extensions, et cetera), but you can always update manually if needed or install Extensions manually as well.
Another option is to simply validate your local development environment, and use a version control system along with a deployment process to push any changes to your staging and production environments. This is the cleanest way for any setup such as your own and is highly recommended to keep the theme and development side in sync (this wouldn’t sync your DB in any way, et cetera).

If talking about plans it would be good from a customer perspective to know if “plan” means that it is scheduled (and if so: whats the timeline) or if its something of the kind where someone internaly had an idea that needs to be further discussed. Based on the information provided I am not able to to make a decision.
As of sometime next week, you’ll be able to have one development environment and one production environment per license purchased.

Hi, I’m planning to buy this theme, but I’d like to have some informations first :
- Are there some existing traduction of the template in other languages availables? - Is there a fullpage slider template ? (I looked for it in the demos but just couldn’t find it, if it exists) - In the case of a multilingue wordpress installation, will I have to buy a licence for each language I chose to use ?

X is fully localized, but we don’t include translations out of the box. Yes, it is possible to do a full page slider. You could use one of our page templates the excludes header and footer, and just have a slider fill the page content. It’s ok to use a single license for a multilingual site, as long as it’s just translations of the same site content, and not entirely different sites.

I purchased X 2 years ago for the purpose of testing out layouts and different styles, and up unil 2 weeks ago absolutely loved the product. The staff was extremely attentive with support, and I didn’t have any issues to speak of. Unfortunately, I’ve had nothing but problems with X the last 2 weeks, and have been unable to get resolve from support after 4-5 days. One of the main reasons I purchased X was for the demo content, and now I cannot use or access that content. I had setup 3 of the expanded demo content themes to “test out”; since I knew that I wouldn’t be using the Education theme in the near future, I went into the media library section of Wordpress and deleted the images related to the theme to save space and reduce clutter. Days later, I wanted to try it out again, but when I went to setup, X refuses to re-download the content, and there is not a link to access it manually. In addition, the latest Cornerstone release has rendered 2 pages inaccessible. I think it would be a good idea to let the user base know that if you plan on running the expanded demos to NOT delete the assets from your server, as there is no way to re-download them again – or at least that has been my experience.

Hi, I already have X, but I am thinking of getting another licence to build another website, which will be a product reviews website and was wondering would this theme work well as for that. I would need users to be able to upload the product image and info to be reviewed themselves via the frontend, and also allowing other users to able to give feedback/comment too.

I just updated to version 4.4.0, but I have problems updating WPBakery Visual Composer. I get this error message after updating: To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit Settings to activate your Visual Composer.
How do I update VC? Before version 4.4.0 it was no problem.

Thanks for letting us know about this. We’ll take a closer look at whey that message is appearing. For now, you can update it manually. You can find the latest version of Visual Composer in the “extensions” folder of the X package downloaded from ThemeForest. For more information, see this article.

You claim to fully support Buddypress and BBpress and you do not. You are 13 versions behind Buddypress, which means you don’t support all Buddypress functionality such as profile cover photos.
This is plain false advertising. You support SOME Buddypress features. And BTW… your CURRENT theme’s Buddypress “post” button is broken.
You can initiate a fresh install of WP with a clean DB and install X. Activate the integrity stack and the “recommended” Buddypress v2.3.3 (not 5.1), and the group post and individual profile post buttons don’t even show. Yet another JS conflict. It can be fixed with CSS but the point is… you are way behind, your theme is broken and it is causing me to not be able to work within it. Your claims are false. You would think one of the “best selling themes of all time” would fully support Buddypress in full.
Then if I update the buddypress plugin, your theme’s JS and Ajax calls break. This causes comments to now NOT even show on activity feeds.
It takes quite some digging to find that you only support Buddypress up to version 2.3.3 yet you claim multiple times, “X’s full-fledged integration of BuddyPress has left no stone unturned”.
But instead of fixing the issue. You delete my support posts. You have now deleted my posts twice. As if to cover up the fact that your theme is broken?
Please give us a timeline on the fix. First for the current theme and BP v2.3.3… then for the current theme and BP v5.5

A Suggestion and Request. Can you consider adding a ‘changelog’ somewhere at the TOP of the Item Details please so we can more easily see a detailed changelog by file, without having to scroll to the bottom of what is a VERY long page and not just (albeit a very nice) a ‘sales update’?

The breadcrumbs will use the blog page title, as the breadcrumb name, for example in wp-admin > settings > reading, if you set a static page and then pick another page as the blog page, what you name that page will show up in the breadcrumbs.

You need to own one regular license per website / customer you’re using X on. So if you run two sites with X you need to own 2 regular licenses.
A while back while using your theme, mobile devices had trouble filling out password forms. Has this been fixed?

Do you have a feature that I can put on my menu bar and when my visitors click on it they can read people’s testimonies and also post their own?
Unfortunately we do not have a feature like this. There are several in content solution for this but nothing for the menu.

Ok I’m officially confused, I set it for automatic updates last year, now mine it’s at 4.1.1 and my dashboard tells me I have the latest version, but I go on your site and I find that the latest is 4.3.2, what’s the best way to update without crashing my site? and why it’s not updated automatically? If you are set to automatic updates and have updated anytime in the past year, then Cornerstone is already an option for you. It sounds like you have not properly setup automatic updates. Having trouble with your theme. I’ve got a page designed that I want to use for all my pages. I figured out the template feature, and I can apply my theme to a new page. But what happens after I setup all my pages and I need to change a part of the template I made. I don’t see where I can edit my template page, which would then update all my pages, assuming they are all linked to this template I made. Is that a feature? I can’t go back to 10 different pages and make that change 10 times. I don’t see where my page is saved/stored. Does this make sense?

Cornerstone templates can be used to quickly re-use existing designs, but they don’t update from one page to another. It works more like a copy and paste, where you can quickly duplicate something, but if you decide to change it later you’ll need to copy those changes to each page.
