Hello and thank you for your quick response to my last question. This time I am wondering how to not allow a permalink for my affiliate posts. To explain, I am using the repick theme and I downloaded the demo stacks. I have created a few posts and checked the “Make link from image to affiliate post instead link to post” box. These posts show up in google and when you click on the links they bring you to a blank post with just the image. I would like to avoid this. I want some of my posts to go directly to Amazon from the homepage while also having others that you can click into and read the review. Thank you.
If you don’t need some posts to go to external sites – don’t add any offer in post offer section and use settings to show affiliate links in grid. If post doesn’t have any assigned offer – it will have standard permalink.
You can place offers inside content of page on such posts with offerbox shortcode (find it in shortcode generator)

I have a problem with the registration from the theme. It keeps saying “Something went wrong. Please try again.”
I’m updating from V2.9 and I’m working on a different subdomain (to not break the main domain).
I don’t know if I registered previously, not sure if it was necessary in 2.9 ? Or maybe it is linked to the domain ? I’d like to configure everything on the test domain and then put it back, how can I do this ?

I want to create a subdirectory page for my blog. I plan to upload wordpress to the a separate URL www.website.co.uk/blog to create the subdirectory page.
So I will have my homepage: www.website.co.uk
and a Sub Directory: www.website.co.uk/blog
On my homepage, I want to create a blog section to show the most recent blog posts, but I’m not sure how I can do this using a sub directory.
Do you know if this is possible with this theme and if so, how can this be achieved?

In order to do this, however, I need to be able to somehow allow each sub directory to work together so that the information is available on each page instead of creating the whole site under one directory?

This meakes a sense. But there is no instrument to make post blocks from rss. This is possible only as customization. Price for each module will be $20

Enable visual composer and check theme’s post modules (list. grids, carousels, etc). I can make any module ready for rss, just tell me which you want to have.

i cloned repick and am changing the settings/logo/etc to my own settings but it doesn’t allow me to change username which is current rehubdemo. Is this is an issue or is the clone not meant to be modified.
You should create new user, set it as admin, then delete rehubdemo user

I think it doesn’t matter the size. it’s just must be big. Try to use next parameter http://screencast.com/t/6yxvtC7tL37M
In this case, only your current setting will work. You should add size of image near 1900px wide and height as your row height
1900*720 will be better.

I use quite like Content egg. I only use it with amazon. The problem is that I sometimes follows: I add three Amazon products correctly and everything looks great! After a few hours suddenly are all the other products in the text! Why is that? This makes content egg almost useless if you can not count on which the products are correct!

Autoupdate keyword is used when you want to keep your full list of products fresh. This means that it updates not only prices, but also products

I gained an extension of visual composer with “woocomerce shortcodes plugin for visual composer”. The new features have not been able to update and support team this plugin has suggested me to put me in touch with the author of the theme because they have found that all shortcodes (total four) are disabled.

But I recommend to use default theme woocommerce modules which are very powerful and customizable
I just purchased your theme Rehub and have it installed and running. I am really having two issues.
The most important is that I can not save any changes made to the theme options. If I make a change and click save it hangs in “saving” and does not make the change.
The second issue Im having is with the visual composer. I can not get it to activate. My entire site goes down when I try.

you should have the FTP. I tried severl versions of Wordpress yesterday. I got earlier versions working, anything pre 4.0. Unfortunately anything pre 4.0 is insecure and unacceptable to run.
This is not wordpress issue, it’s server memory. Please, wait, I will add some configuration to check if this helps
I actually just bought some shared hosting with this host. I dont see the php.ini file anywhere to increase memory. Have you tried anything yourself?

I did change the FTP password. It started working at the very same time the PHP.INI and max mem were set. IF you still need FTP for some reason let me know and ill send them back out to you.

Nevermind, I got it. My solution was to create a new version of the rehub_get_social_links function, called rehub_get_social_links_shortcode. In this version, I store all the HTML results in a string variable and return it, rather than echoing to the browser. I then base the new shortcode on that version of the function.

Hello, I want to use Filter (like on the index page) on category.php
I have copied the filter code from repick_index.php to category.php and its looking good, but when I click the filter buttons it filters all posts.
How can I filter only the category posts? also I have disabled the MDTF plugin.
Repick already has filters for category pages, you don’t need do any customizations (maybe problem is that you have outdated version)

there was no error message, it did work but my styles changed too much so I reverted it back.

No, I do not mean just maps. I am talking about property owners being able to add their properties with photos,street address, Googlemap location, description, category, etc. Then visitors to the directory can review each property/listing.

This is possible, but currently theme uses MDTF specification builder. One weak place of MDTF is maps, because it created for product/services, not for maps.
In 6.1 I will add separate specification builder and profile builder.
Note, if you need just real estate site, there are a big amount real estate themes on TF.

I need a theme that allows visitors to add any type of place listing (restaurant, hotels, etc…) so that other visitors can review and rate these listings, just like Tripadvisor does.

Ok. This is possible with theme. But as I wrote early, many new functions for such type of sites will be in 6.1 version of theme. One thing – I think ETA is near month for this update
