Thanks, for a quick response! You’re right there was an issue with one of plugins. In particular, it was the Visual Composer plugin. After updating this everything is working as before. Thanks for help!

Make sure that you are using both the plugin’s and the theme’s latest versions. Take a look at: http://documentation.laborator.co/kb/general/how-to-update-themes-and-plugins/

If you have both things updated, then you can try disabling all your plugins, in order to check if ant of the other ones is causing the conflict.

Hi Art, I figured out the map issue but not one of the previous issues. My questions are, can I duplicate my Home Page? You can’t do it with the app you suggested above since it doesn’t appear under ‘Pages’. On the Home page I”m trying to add the animated header to replace the words ‘Blog’ and ‘Test, Test’ (see link for Home Page). Do I have to add the widget in the php.header code? You can’t duplicate the homepage because your homepage is showing your latest blog posts, to change that go to Settings > Reading and set the Front page displays to Static and select any of the pages to be your homepage, to add the Slider on your homepage use the Revolution Slider but firstly I would suggest you to read a bit the theme documentation and watch the video tutorials and if you can’t manage to implement the site in your own better import any demo content.

You are using an old version of our theme (1.8.6) and the latest version for the moment is (1.8.8.1), please update theme first and then hard refresh your browser and check if your problems are still present.

The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure

Very Important: Please don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

Hi, I’ve updated the theme and all plugins I could and hard refreshed my browser, but still no sign of the videos. There was one plug in, ‘Layer Slider’ that is pre-packaged and requires an update from 5.6.2 to 5.6.3. I updated, it says that the plugin has updated and then when I go back to plug-ins updates it’s still at 5.6.2 telling me a I need to update. Thanks

Hi. Yes, I see it is there. I did not have to insert. It is set to default slider and the default slider in the imported slider in the RevSlider tool. Also, if the demo content for MAIN was installed successfully, wouldn’t the homepage slider already be there? Can you please help me? If so, you need to create a new page using the Portfolio page template. Then, in the section “Portfolio->Add New”, you need to create one portfolio post per item in your gallery.

1. So this is marked as completed, great!

2. After I visited your site I saw the execution time in the end of source code is really high, see here:

This means that it takes more than 13 seconds just to execute the script on your server side, and this happens because you might have any plugin installed and causes delays at server side, so try disabling plugins that are not required in our plugins list and see if the execution time decreases.

To check the execution time simply click View page source (on right click menu) and in the end of page you will see that:

3. I was looking for this jump effect but not sure where is that happening, can you please make a video screencast or let me know how can I reproduce this issue?

4. I’ve tried this option and it works fine also in Safari, see the example:

I am glad that I’ve pointed you to the right direction about the execution time issue, this also helps us understand that sometimes the delays are caused by host environment.

1. I was trying to install Safari 6 and it doesn’t let me, because it is outdated browser (latest version is 9) and I cannot install it on my mac. However, I was checking the number of users who currently use Safari 6 and it is less than < 0.1% see this screenshot:

Visual Composer team (plugin by our third-party partner) has implemented this and they dropped support for Safari 6 and IE 6-9 versions.

2. It is very strange, I’ve tried to repeat this issue on my browser, and even recorded a video for you, so here it is:

As you can see, on my side it looks perfectly fine the transition. However I will give you this code and hopefully this will fix your issue:

Apply this code in functions.php

Did you modify any of the theme’s source files? In that case, you can replace the modified version with a fresh one, which you can download from the “Downloads” section of your Themeforest account.

I’d like to be clear about the download. Are you saying that I download the theme, and then upload the theme again? If I do that, (which I tried) then I am told that I already uploaded the theme. Are you saying (instead) that if I download again, I choose the TopMenu php and replace that on my server in the destination folder where Kalium theme is being hosted?

Please make sure on Appearance > Theme Options > Header and Menu you have set these settings:

This should work for you. No need to replace files or something else, just keep the latest update of Kalium.
