Hello, i read on older posts, that a video with sound is on your radar, is it available now?? im trying to add my video with the sound above the masthead full screen on my site, i already have it in place but it has no sound, anyway around this to add the sound of the video??

1) The best way to see what is possible out of the box in X would be to check out our features and demos.
2) Yes, we even include a copy of that with your purchase if you’d like to use it. Most X customers use Cornerstone as their page builder which is also included with your purchase (as is a license of all our Extensions).
3) Many customers use 3rd party plugins with X, and you can read more about our policy for supporting 3rd party plugins here.
4) No, but you can see a video of it in action here.

No, VC will continue to be an option for those who wish to use the plugin however the vast majority of our customers now use Cornerstone.

I am not really that fond of VC and I am hoping that Cornerstone is good, but I do like the fact that you offer VC just in case. That is one, of quite a few other reasons, why I am going to leave Total for you guys.

We do not have any function to create new custom post types, you would need to have some basic coding knowledge and change the template files to achieve this, but it’s certainly possible. Let me know if you have any other questions.
i dont want to create a new custom post type, i want to know if the X theme supports them? they are created yet.
This depends on how those custom post types have been created. If a plugin creates them there won’t be any interference, if the previous theme created them (which is not best practise) then they won’t display in the backend as the custom post types get deregistered once you activate another theme.
its a good theme but it has a serious problem with RTL languages . for example in stack integrity the widget header and the links that have a icon has problem and the icon appear after of the texts and headers instead of before of it. another problem is that in recently post shortcut the last post must come to the right not left. layer slider has problem with RTL languages too in creating slides . u can test all my problems and u see its true but X theme is one of the best theme i have ever seen
another thing that prompt in RTL when u want to put button in the left and text in the right the text is not RTL any more

Thanks for writing in. I have tested this out on our local installation and the icons are on the correct side when LTR is activated. You may be running an out of date version of the theme, which can be updated using automatic updates by validating your purchase or downloading the latest version here in your ThemeForest account to update.

yes LTR is fine i said RTL has problem and this is the latest version of X theme with your license. if u want u can test your theme on your local with RTL activated and see widget icons and link icons . and the latest post shortcut has problem too that i told that in my comments . because i have rtl sites and i want new theme im testing all themes and your theme is so pro but your RTL is not good . if u want i can list all of the problems for u with my friend site that use your theme and send it for u. yes sorry because my friend brought this and i tested rtl with that to see the theme after that i wanted to buy that then i see these bugs and im now searching for good rtl theme but i saw your theme is so pro and if it was fix in rtl it was awesome . if i can i will run a test rtl with your theme on my host that i want to create my site that you can see the bugs its the only way that maybe i can help your powerful team that your pro and beautiful theme be better.

Can you guys please include the ability to add a full page hero image/video with the header floating on top with a transparent background that darkens when you scroll…most modern themes have that already, is there any plans on including that??

Is there any way to set up your theme like a “service platform”? Instead of sell products any user could upload one or more services and sell them. The thing is create some payment method (or membership acount) to allow those users upload the services/resumes.

It creates a new product type called “rental product” which offer all booking facilities. As your theme support woo-commerce and one of the top selling theme in theme-forest. Now my client plans to use this plugin with your theme. Can i use this plugin with your theme without any problem ? I’m eagerly waiting for your response.

From an overall layout point of view, that is a fairly standard layout. There would be some tweaks you’d have to make to the navigation to make it look just like that but possible with some slight customization.

Do you have a function or know of a plugin that my viewers can type in their testimony but has a “read more” section because it will be more than a couple lines. Like they have Review plugins or you make it so they can make comments. Does that make sense?
Not off the top of my head. It may be something you need to custom develop if you can’t find a suitable 3rd party solution. It’s a fairly custom application so I’d be doubtful you’d find something quite like that out of the box.

I’m no developer and I barely know CSS. Maybe one of the charity themes has something like that? If not I’ll probably be back because I really like your theme. I purchased Total but I’m having problems with it. I might have trouble understanding your too, but awe, we live and learn.

Hello i just want a simple username and password login without registering only admins can access it to open a page in my website, is that possible and please dont say protected content as there is nothing there to read but the code, and it does not explain how to add it.
You can’t have a username and password for something you don’t register for. You can password protect a post or page, but that is a WordPress setting on the individual post or page, not a theme setting.

We work with LearnDash plugin. Does your theme support custom post types?

While we haven’t tested specifically with the LearnDash plugin, our theme does support Custom Post Types and there shouldn’t be any issues with using LearnDash and X. Depending on the output of LearnDash, all you may need to do is some minor styling adjustments.

My files are named:
tg-text-domain-de_DE.mo, tg-text-domain-de_DE.po in /langs/ folder of the plugin and not a single translation works.

Regarding that particular issue, we can forward it over to the developer of The Grid, however as we simply integrate with their plugin, it would need to be something they address in a future update.

One more thing. Try creating a languages directory in wp-content/languages/plugins this was implemented in WordPress so that translations don’t get lost on plugin/theme updates. Many plugins and themes are now coded so that the translations only work this way and not within the plugin/theme itself.
Hopefully this should resolve the issue for you. If you’re still experiencing the translation not loading, try moving it up one level to wp-content/languages and re-generate your .po and .mo files. We’ve done some testing and the language translation is working.

I changed the ugly coded function in the plugins main file to something that is recommended in WP Codex.

Anyway… I also tested your hint with the languages/plugins and languages folder in wp-content (did not work). The problem has some other issues too, because there are some included plugins (post views for example) that have a very own languages folder. It´s not the best way to use multi languages folders in a single main plugin folder.

A disadvantage of x is, that it is a hard job to style posts and pages. there are no post layouts and this is something like a killer feature. But it´s not that awesoeme for blogs and magazines, cause you user will get the same look for every post every time. And.. well.. there is not a single x demo for magazines or news pages… this is why, isn´t it?You know, I love X. But I am a blogger (this is what Wordpress was made for). X is perfect for portfolios, maybe for restaurants, single page sides, things like that… business and other. But I am a blogger
That was a change Envato made that applied to all products sold here, however we are continuing to support all customers just as we have before.
