Client wants to buy this theme but I need to make sure that the social media icons can be added to the nav bar and that the nav bar can hold a picture. It’s for a web radio company so we need to be able to have a “Watch Live” button with the red circle to symbolize the recording symbol.

I just want to point out an issue I had with Stockholm Child and the translation plugin Loco. Loco doesn’t work because it gets confused while looking for language files in the child theme.
So if one need to translate the 404 page and the contact form for example, one needs to copy 404.php and contact-page.php to the child theme folder on the FTP in order for Loco to find them.
I finally managed to solve this and I’m posting it here as I’m sure others have the same issue.

I believe I’m supposed to change direction from 1 to -1 somewhere, but I can’t find which file that is in. It doesn’t seem to be the quode_shortcodes_video.php.

Layer Slider does not offer such option as well for it, you can only enable Two-way shuffle http://screencast.com/t/tc00twZJ , that way, when someone clicks on a nav button for previous slide, the Slideshow will go backwards after it.

By default ,in Big slider layout for single portfolio pages the slider takes up full width of the content area, and the height is proportionally calculated based on the original dimensions of your photos.

My image are 2×3 or 3×4 proportion vertical, the images in the slider should be NOT CROPED. Usually I resize 1200px height the images. In your template look like that the proportion of the slider is horizontal only ..

The images won’t be cropped. Like we mentioned, the height will be auto calculated to keep the original proportions/ratio.

Even If I’ve changed my Title, Keywords and description in the SEO fields and installed an external plungin to see if I could fix it.

These are all css classes assigned to body tag.
You should definitely use some plugin, like Yoast, to define keywords and description fields, and also perform the re-crawl from google webmaster tools.

I am trying to change the title images in Pages. I had changed these before, but I tried changing them again today and they option in the back end editor is gone. There is no “Select Title” but if I go to blog posts, it shows there. I inspected the page, and it is not hidden. Is there an option somewhere to turn it on and off that I missed? This is a clients website, so they might have done it without knowing, but I don’t see a way to re-enable it. Sorry, but we do not provide third parties access to our systems. The best we can do is the video already provided. What I can tell you (because we had to modify the file to get it to work) is that qode-framework.php is not firing when a video is submitted, only when an image is submitted.

Don’t know if you’ve made some changes directly in theme templates, but we can recommend you to update your theme even if you already have the latest version, since this feature works correctly, we’ve tested it today.

We are running the most recent version. Updating it last month is what broke the video function. We have already pinpointed a patch to the problem and have it working now. The issue lies with qode-framework.php not firing when a video is submitted.
We’ll definitely send this to dev team for further inspection, for now we could not reproduce the problem. Glad that you have it working at the moment, so you can upload videos to your portfolios.
Is there an option to change the main color for a page? (overriding the main theme color)
I want to have my seperated pages with different colors like this: Subject 1 = Blue Subject 2 = Green Subject 3 = Red
when i try it in VC it doesnt save my settings. and in the main settings i can only change the main color.

There’s no direct option to choose main color per page. You can apply some styles directly in elements you use on a page, and in Title/Header settings per page, but for else, you need to use some css, to give different main colors per page.

I have found an inconsistancy within the usage of the content padding.
When I configure a content padding on the “Select Options -> “General” this is not always used.
When I create a page and assign it the “default template”, the content padding is not used, but when I choose “Full Screen” the padding is taken into account. This make no sense and is strange since I now have to configure the same padding on any page separately when not using “Full screen”. Quick fix would be set all pages to full screen and add a row assigned “in grid” when no full screen is desired, but that is not possible for e.g. “Portfolio items”
I also looked into assigning a height to the header but that will not move the content down the page, which is also strange to my opinion
Please suggest how to solve.
I also have issues with the loading speed of the complete website. Especially on ititial load, when just opened my webbrowser it takes almost 20+ seconds for the site to fully load. Is there any option to check whether it is related to the usage of the Stockholm theme. My provider says that their servers are running fine.

1. We have just tested this – and no problems with this options – content top padding is applied properly on both Default and Full Width template pages.

Thanks for the feedback. Regarding the content padding I guess it is related to the sticky header, that is probably also causing the header hight not taken into account with the remaining content. I am using a sticky header by the way

Try to eliminate negative margin for your content, so it’s starts after header ends. Add this in Select Options -> General -> Custom CSS field:

I have a website where I have a Left Menu. Some of those menu items have sub items. The problem is that if you click on a parent item the submenu just shows up. I want the + and – to act as the toggle not the parent item. The parent item should be clickable. Where is the PHP of the Left Menu and the JQuery of the toggle?

Thank you for the answer, but that is not a solution. On hover the + and – disappears. And I love the on click, just not on the parent menu item.
Unfortunately, there can’t be two actions on click – and in that case we used the click action to open submenu , so parent item can not be link.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve extended service, but the website seems to be down all day (it has for me anyway) and I need some help. I have my store full width no sidebar, and it has 4 items per row, to me that looks to cluttered. How can I make 3 items per row (so they’re also a bit larger).

1. By default shop page is set to 4 items per row (three is sidebar is used). It can be changed with custom css (our support can provide it for you), or alternatively, you can create your own shop page using Products element from Visual Composer, and for it you have the option to choose columns number.
2. If you only want to change that label – our support team will tell you which file exactly you should modify. But the right way would be to translate theme and woocommerce labels to your desired language, by using Poedit software for labels translation. When you add a photo into your text, switch to Text mode of content editor, and You need to set rel=”prettyPhoto[pretty_photo_gallery]” attribute for that photo you insert, so it can open in a lightbox on click.
