Twitter sharing function doesn’t work on my blog when reading it on mobile devices (Desktop PC is fine).
It only takes you to Twitter but doesn’t create a sharing link.

After the updates, somehow at my portfolio pages the menu and the start of the portfolio page got merged together. q1: What I would love is the text of the portfolio pages to start similar where the tiles of my main page start. How can I change this? q2: It seems the hamburger Icon is not in line with the rest of the page (vertically, but just slightly positioned to the left, how can I alter this? q3: wherever I activate a sticky menu, the hamburger icon changes from black to red, white and red. It is possible to keep this in black?

After upgrading the theme to Kalium 1.8.9 i can’t save the changes in the “laborator” menu any more. Are the any know reasons for that issue or some solutions to solve this problem?

Sorry, I also forgot to mention that when I try to update the Visual Composer plugin individually, the system says:
“here is a new version of WPBakery Visual Composer available. View version 4.11.2 details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin. Download new version from CodeCanyon.”
but of course in CodeCanyon I am asked to buy the plugin.

Premium plugins don’t allow us to give customers our license number, so on each premium plugin such as Visual Composer, Revolution Slider and Layer Slider update we release a new update to our theme with the latest version of that plugin included, and customers don’t need to worry about that,
You never need to buy any premium plugins that comes with our theme
So i think that are using an old version of our theme, and the latest version for the moment is (1.9), please update theme first.

We’ve got it up and running now! Thank you. Regenerated another API key and were able to successfully update everything.
Right now the pre-packaged Layer Slider says it needs an update, however, after going through the updater it simply says “The plugin is at the latest version.” Do we need to delete the plugin and reinstall?

As for your other question, on some servers Layer Slider can’t be updated, so you need to follow the procedure as we have described on the changelog:
If you can’t update LayerSlider, go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and delete LayerSlider plugin then install it from Install Plugins page again. Your current sliders will not be deleted.

After the update last night, pictures of profolio page cannot be shown anymore. Visual Composer as well is not working.
We realise the Layer Slider might need a update. We tried it but when i click “update” it shown “The plugin is at the latest version.” message. Tried to delete it from Plugins > Installed Plugins but fail, since the plug-in is active on the main site.

Thanks! We have updated the theme but seems “Layer Slider” still fail to update. Please suggest.
Beside, at the profolio page we realise the “Auto Reveal” does not work as before. We wish to have page to show 12 items first, then auto reveal the rest while scrolling down. Please suggest the correct way to show this. We used to set it in “Custom Query” on Page by setting “Items per page” to 12. But it turns out limiting the loading of any extra profolio items from “auto reveal”.

The profolio page we are referring is: http://www.okra-store.com/okura_brandlist/It is currently set as “0” on “Items per Page” in “Custom Query”. And it shown all the items in once. However, we indeed wish to show only 12 items first, then auto reveal the rest while scrolling down.
Besides, please suggest why we fail to update “Layer Slider” as well.

2— It looks like your server is not allowing to update this plugin. But there is a quick fix
Can you please download this file laborator_actions.php, and replace it by going to aurum > inc folder. Then try to install Layer Slider again.
Note: If you can’t still update LayerSlider, go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and delete LayerSlider plugin then install it from Install Plugins page again. Your current sliders will not be deleted.

Hi, you awesome Kalium people. I have another question.
Via the “Portfolio Items” element on my homepage, I have some items that link thru to a full portfolio page, and some that just pop a lightbox. When/if an item only pops a lightbox, I DO NOT want it to have arrows on the right/left to see other images. To be clear, the light box should show ONLY the item that spawned it. How can I disable the other images?? I have the “Lightbox Navigation” set to single image in the Kalium theme options, and have “Next-Prev navigation in single item” toggled OFF, but I just can’t find a setting for this home page behavior anywhere else.
As is, I can’t even figure out WHY it’s actually showing the specific other images that it is—there are other portfolio items that share the same category that don’t appear, so it doesn’t seem to be based on category. When/if I DO want to have that horizontal scroll to be available, how would I control what is shown?

I just started to work back on my portfolio for my graduation exhibition. I didn’t work on it for the past 2-3 months.
I realized that some updates have been done and some things are not working anymore.
The major problem is that pictures are not displayed anymore. All pictures are now replaced by a white empty box. :-\
Can you guys help me with that?

Sorry if I wasn’t clear for the responsiveness of my website. English is not my first language.
The problem that I have is the following : - My main adress is www.gregorycote.ca, which works perfectly on both desktop and mobile.
- My secondary adress (www.gregorycote.com) is automatically re-directed (mirror) to www.gregorycote.ca and is using a mask to show .com.
- The problem is that www.gregorycote.com does not display mobile version, it only displays the desktop version.
It’s kind of weird, because it’s suppose to be the same website, since it’s a mirror of the original.
Can I send you a screenshot on the chat as you did to show you the result?

Thank you for your answer. I actually figured out that the problem was the forwarding of the .com to the .ca that was messing up with the mobile version. I called my hosting provider and they disable the mask and everything works fine.
Unfortunatly I have another issue. I don’t know if it’s because of the update, but I am not able anymore to see the videos (YouTube URL) that I upload in the Portfolio Gallery. The links are there, but when I upload and preview nothing appears, not even a black box. I have to use VideoPlayer widget to add a YouTube video, which is not want I want because it doesn’t use your maconnery layout.
1- Do I have to re-install the Theme? If yes how? 2- Slider Revolution pluggin has an update, but it doesn’t apply. Delete and re-install too?

Now i know for what you are talking about, this is the default behavior of the Safari for touch devices.
To remove that just go to wp-content > themes > kalium and replace header.php with this file http://drops.laborator.co/12ytH
this replaces this code:
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">
with this new one:
<meta name="viewport" content="initial-scale=1.0, user-scalable=no" />
Remember this code, because when you update your theme you need to edit this file again.

In other words, is it possible to load items without having to scroll down the page for items to start loading? People who visited my website scroll down to fast or not enough and items don’t show up so they think I only have the first row of projects.
2- Same question once you have clicked on a item, you are directed to more pictures of a project, but if you scroll down too fast or not enough people don’t see the rest of the pictures. Is there a way to disabled the loading effect and show all the pictures as soon as you arrived on the page?

Glad to hear that!
That is not a loading effect, this is called lazy-loading.
Lazy Load is delays loading of images in long web pages. Images outside of viewport are not loaded until user scrolls to them.
Using Lazy Load on long web pages will make the page load faster. In some cases it can also help to reduce server load.
So if you stop this it will stop for every part of the theme, and not on the single portfolio only.

This will turn off lazy loading. However “Wow” animation will still be applied (the fade effect), you might think its lazy loading, but its still an animation that is used to show items that appear in screen.

Two things about the Portafolio:
Using lightbox, when I click into any item inside a portafolio category the lightbox is opened but the gallery is not only showing the pictures of the item I click on it, it’s showing a lot more coming from other portafolio items and categories, I do not know how this is like that, It’s anoying, it make it slower as you are charging a lot more of images than the one that you really want to show, etc: You can take a look at here: http://de-sacy-poterie.com/?post_type=portfolio
Also, I would like to know what is the proper size for images using Carousel and other options of the portafolio view, as they are not showing the pictures properly.

Hi…I’m running Kalium 1.8.8.1 and wish to upgrade to the latest, but when I go to the Envato Toolkit page, I have no “Themes” tab as is shown in the how-to video. I’ve updated Wordpress, stock themes (just in case) and the “Advanced Custom Fields” plugin. Per the Kalium update email I received, I did download it, but not sure what to do at this point. Help!

Last nights updates caused so much trouble, next time with updates, I am taking a day off just to solve all issues, such a nightmare.
