1. This seems to be fine, I just checked your Contact page and there is no margin, see this link, and in the about page there is no image showing, just make sure you check the header options and remove the margin.

2. Add the following CSS to your Custom CSS area:

    color: #EEE !important;
} 

.top-menu-container .blog-sidebar .sidebar-box-holder a {
    color: #FFF !important;
}

As I could understand, you want to keep some pages you finished visible for your client while the rest of the site remains in the “Coming soon mode”, that’s not possible with Kalium and you cannot choose which pages to show and which to hide, only if you use the WordPress private and public page visibility.

The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure

Then don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

I will check my limits, but in the meantime, I have found the solution to my problem. I can now see portfolio items. And the menu with portfolio categories at the top of the page is now visible. The problem was that you need to set a Featured Image when crating the portfolio. Only then it appears in the portfolio page and menu.

It is the same, because kalium.css will always change and if you copy it to style.css it will cause the theme to break. You just need to add your CSS that will change specific value and not the entire file.

This is the best practice to keep theme up to date and also not loose your modifications.

Ok, i tried both and more. I cleared the cache, used different Browser and reinstalled (deleting and then uploading) the new 1.8.9 theme again. Nothing helped. I still can´t save the changes i made in the “Laboratory” menu. Could there be a conflict with the PHP Version or Memory settings with my Provider?
