Anyone… how do I assign a template page to blog posts?? THanks!

Page templates can be assigned to pages. If you set some page to have some of the offered blog templates, http://screencast.com/t/zPMrJi6V50 it will show the list of your posts in chosen template.
For single posts, there are no page templates. You choose the type for the posts http://screencast.com/t/56L0nwQmij , and they are using default single posts template. You can additionally enable Visual Composer to create your post’s content to achieve some desired layout.

I bought this theme yesterday. Installed the Masonry Store demo theme. I am trying to edit the page template with the Visual Composer, but when I click on an element it doesn’t go into the page. (ex: Products via WooCommerce tab)—I can’t add any elements to the site to layout my pages!
The console says: backend.min.js?ver=4.9.2:6 Uncaught TypeError: $template.get is not a function
When I click on an element to add via the visual composer.
update: re-installed visual composer plugin and it works now!

Hi is it possible to have the blog masonry so that the images and titles are in even rows of 4 with auto cropped images instead of them going uneven as seen here – http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/bridge122/ and also so that the holder box has a minimum height that goes evenly across every 4 posts in a row.

If you use the same dimensions original images, you will have them equal in masonry layout.
There’s no direct option for setting it like you mentioned, but it can be done with some custom css, to specify some min-height so all the parts – images, titles…take the same height.

Is there a possibility that you can add an extra template for single product view, where there is an option to add an sidebar. For webshops this is a really good extra. For example see these best selling e-commerce templates they all have option to add a sidebar to single product view:

If you’re using Portfolio List category, in settings for this element, you can specify the category from which the items will be displayed http://screencast.com/t/Zf2OuKHc3wp
Just make sure to write the slug of the category you’re looking to display in this list.

I have a strange problem.
So far I have used an other theme (“epic” from themeforest)
This theme also had “portfolio” menu.
So now i just upgraded to your super “bridge” theme.
It seems Unfortunately there a lot of bug with this upgrade.
Plugin disruptions, bad appearances, page freezing etc…
I have a lot of blogs and portfolios. I don’t want to rebuild all.
Can you help me how can i solve it?

Unfortunately, most likely they have registered custom post type for portfolio items like we did.
But you can’t just switch the theme, it’s fine for posts and pages, but for custom post types it can’t work properly.
Also, each theme uses different shortcodes, so those won’t work as well. Some re-building needs to be done in this case.

Did you got our reply on your question? We answered above, that each theme uses different shortcodes/elements for content creation, and registers it’s own custom post types, so when switching from one theme to another, the site/elements might broke.

I don’t use any old page or old portfolio from old theme. I have deleted the all old portfolio!
A have recreated new portfolio pages with Bridge theme. (more than 100)
And I use only “pages” and “posts” from old theme and there are no problem with them.
But there are a lot of bug. (Plugin disruptions, bad appearances, page freezing etc… )
And i don’t understand why?
I have tried to find the problem but I can’t test with basic “twenty template” because there are no portfolio pages.
What can i do in this case?
Please help me.

if I go on that page directly, it works
. what’s wrong? the gallery is build with masterslider plugin, and they told me there is a conflict with the theme skin after theme update.
if not possible to solve the problem with masterslider, is there a way to have a similar gallery with bridge?

Hello,
Try disabling Ajax Page transitions, it could be conflicting with the plugin you use. Either turn them off generally in Qode Options -> General, by setting Page Transition to NO ANIMATION.
Or only for the problematic page, to do that, go to Pages -> that page, scroll down to Qode General panel, and again set Page Transition to NO ANIMATION.

Just make sure to empty cache, it has to be done!

Hello, I updated the theme, as well as plugins and am receiving a white screen on my website. When deactivating Visual Composer I can again access the homepage, but when I reactivate it goes white again.
Resolved..happened to be an issue with some of the actual coding on the page

The visual composer last version doesn’t work fine with last wp 4.5 and your last version of bridge. When you tried to add a imagen doesn’t work. I delete the site and put again with 4.5 and your new package and it’s impossible to add a image with visual composer

So, I buy the Bridge theme.
Then I buy additional support for another $ 60.00;
I send in support tickets. Animation on (2) sub menu pages is turned OFF. The main menu link for those sub-pages DOES NOT WORK.
Canned reply is turn animations for the pages.
I already said I did that.
How many times do I need to say it?

The ONLY reason I bought your theme was because I liked the page transitions.
There are hundreds of themes of equal quality out there.
EVERY single demo on your Envato page shows page transitions on everything.
NOWHERE do I see anything about the fact you CANNOT use ANY other 3rd party plugin or your transitions will not work.
How many website out there, do you think, do NOT use third party plugins. It is what Wordpress is all about.
FLEXIBILITY.
You stifle that flexibility by advertising something, in realty, you CANNOT use !!

Please note that we simply can’t cover every single plugin that’s available online. There are thousands and thousands of them, and plenty work properly with ajax transitions (we have many users using many different plugins without any problems), but some are simply conflicting with transition script (like some plugins conflict between each other, that’s totally normal)
