Hi – please can you sort out the Woocommerce billing city and shipping city checkout fields in your next theme update. There is no placeholder text and this is poor user experience because there are no labels that tell users what is required in these fields.

Hi I want to add a row with a background FULLSCREEN image in parallax. I set row type on “Parallax” and my page has a full width template but my image in background still remain boxed, please can anybody help me??

To have full width parallax section, you need to use FullWidth page template, and ROW type should be set to parallax http://screencast.com/t/DiRdoAYY
and it’s necessary that your image is wide enough, to cover the full width (we recommend 1920px wide photos)
And or course, make sure you’re not using Boxed layout in Qode Options -> General!

Is there an option to open all submenus at the left side menu? Now I just see the option how to show the submenu items. (hover, click..) But I want to show all submenu items without clicking or hover. Thanks

You should add your Layer Slider at the top of page content (in a row) not in a Slider Shortcode field , so you can set AnchorID for that first row that’s holding your slider.

I have just updated to Wordpress 4.5.1 and almost the entire website has problems. The logo, texts, maps… have simply disappeared. To sum up, I don’t know what to do.
And of course, as the previous comments, the visual composer can’t be updated.

Please make sure you’re using latest Bridge 9.1.3, that includes Visual Composer 4.11.2.1, and clear browser cache upon all the updates. Everything will work fine with new WP 4.5.1 as well then, this new update included just several fixes from the previous version.

Hi. I now have the same problem as earlier. The visual composer is not working anymore. The last time I was able to update the plugin, but now I have the latest update. Why is the plugin not working anymore? Will this be an issue everytime I make a Wordpress update?

You should not have this issue with the latest theme/VC release.
Please make sure you’re using latest Bridge 9.1.3, that includes Visual Composer 4.11.2.1, and also make sure to clear browser cache upon all the updates (has to be done, since the problem is script related). Everything should be fine then.

I have reinstalled Visual Composer (4.11.1) I am running wordpress (4.5) I am missing wordpress editor tools . in Visual Composer all text is white in editor. Latest version of Bridge theme (9.1.3) includes latest available Visual Composer version (4.11.2.1).
Please update your theme first to the latest version: http://bridge.qodeinteractive.com/documentation/2-getting-started/2-3-installing-the-bridge-theme/2-3-4-theme-update/
After it, update VC plugin:
1. Please make sure main theme is activated while performing other steps
2. Go to Plugins page in your WordPress Dashboard, locate Visual Composer in the list, deactivate it and delete it
3. You will see message that required plugin is missing at the top of your WordPress Dashboard
4. Install the plugin and then activate it
and clear browser cache after it.
All should be perfectly fine with new WP then.

Hi I have done these steps – Latest version of Bridge theme (9.1.3) includes latest available Visual Composer version (4.11.2.1). and WP 4.5.1 Every loads ok – but the editor has no toolbars and text is white. Have you checked that the editor works ok for example in posts and in text block settings? thanks

By the changelog for this new WP update, only some fixes were included into this new version, so it should be completely safe to perform the update.
Just make sure that you’re using latest Bridge 9.1.3 version, and latest Visual Composer 4.11.2.1

Let me try to explain how menu color is defined:
In Qode Options -> Header , you can set header skin for your entire site. Light means white menu items, dark means menu items in black color.
In Pages -> Some page, in Qode Header panel , you can set Header Skin individually for that page, and that setting override this general one from Qode Options.
Check if you have header skin set to light maybe?
So, you can either set header skin to some of these two predefined, or your can leave that Header Skin field empty in both general and individual settings, and then to set your custom colors for menu items in Qode Options -> Fonts , under Header & Menu (note that this will only have effect if no header skin is chosen.)

I need some help! All my Visual Composer work disappeared from the page I built up the page on. I have complete wordpress backups through Updraft Plus. The restorations do not fix this either. It’s like I never did the VC work on the back end, but the front end is “laid out” as if it was done with VC but NONE of my images show up. I’m now past my support deadline and do NOT want to pay unless I know for certain you have some sort of resolution for me. I have no idea what’s going on here. It’s been fine for months, then one day all the pics disappear and the VC work is gone. I don’t get it. Can you please help? I’ve purchased this theme TWICE! by the way.

I did the theme update and deleted the 2 plugins you mentioned. I never got a prompt for install which I’m assuming is the 4.11.2.1 updated version. So, I downloaded the “Installable wordpress files only” from Bridge download and that version is 4.6.2. How do I get the latest version manually? Why is your download zip outdated?

Please note: the latest theme version: Bridge 9.1.3 includes 4.11.2.1 Visual Composer and 5.6.4 Layer Slider.
So you need to download latest theme files, and update your theme first.
If you don’t get this notification to install plugins after you delete them, you can install them manually. The latest zip files can be found in wp-content/themes/plugins folder. So you can then manually install them.
Just please make sure you have the latest Bridge 9.1.3 version.

Ok, I got the prompt and have in fact updated the both VC and theme. But, all my images including the logo in the menu bar have disappeared. Images I use in the Visual Composer to not show up on the front end. BACKGROUND images are working fine, but nothing else. They were all there on release, and now do not show up. Why? Do you think?

Somewhere between the Visual Composer and the front end, something is being lost.The CSS image effects are not working. If an image has an effect it disappears, logo doesn’t appear, accordions doesn’t work either. Got any ideas of how to fix these?

Anyone else experiencing fatal errors or PHP timeouts after update to Bridge 9.1.3? Our support team found this in the site’s raw logs (we don’t use WooCommerce):
1. Fatal errors are bad as they cause PHP to stop rendering the code. PHP fatal errors could result the site as looking down. Below is the most common fatal error in the php error logs. Your theme is calling these methods (a common thing to do in a theme), but it errors out. `[25-Apr-2016 16:29:51 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /www/wp-content/themes/bridge/index.php on line 1`
2. It looks like a method for woocommerce is also being called from your theme at line 68. Its likely failing because that method doesn’t exist anywhere. I’d be sure that this is removed as well. Failing here could cause the previous log file (see #1) as well. `[25-Apr-2016 18:52:38 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function woocommerce_content() in /www/wp-content/themes/bridge/woocommerce.php on line 68`

2. As for Visual Composer, due to new WordPress version, you have to update the theme to the latest Bridge 9.1.3 version, and update Visual Composer after it to 4.11.2.1 that’s included. After the updates, you have to clear browser cache, and it will be all fine again.

Hi Qode dudes – I have an urgent issue with a site that is due to go live.
The Woo Commerce checkout page: When an error is detected in the form, such an an email not entered, the page automatically scrolls the user back to the top of the page and display the warning.
However on mine it doesn’t scroll high enough, so the user is left clueless as to why it’s not gone through.
Can you let me know where I should look to adjust this setting?
