Hi. I have a home page which has anchor points down the page. The main menu jumps down the page when clicked. Now my problem is that when I go into a portfolio page….the main menu is still visible but don’t work as it has the anchor menu from the home screen. Is it possible to hide the menu on the portfolio pages?

Yes, the menu can be hidden with some css. But you can also make your anchors work even from the single portfolio pages.
You just need to add custom links in your menu, with the full URL to a specific page and with the desired navigation label. E.g. http://www.example.com/some-page/#anchor

I have a one-page site which has a load of products (portfolio). I have anchor menu items on the home page which jump down the page which works perfectly. My issue is when I go into the product pages….and I try to use the main menu to jump back to the home page…...the dotted dividers I use are gone as well as the space around title items (on the home page). I made some changes to it (trying to fix it myself)....Can you tell the support team that I added a light grey background on 2 of the panels on the home page and added some css to keep the padding around the titles. It seems to me that the Visual Composer has a bug in the ‘Design Options’ when coming back from the Portfolio pages. I originally had the padding set in the Design Options but they seem to disappear when coming back. That’s why the title loose their padding and the dotted lines disappear.

We update the plugin through theme updates, and you are getting the latest version of this plugin with future theme updates.

Hi. I have 2 questions for you if you don’t mind?
1: If I have 6 categories in my product range, is it possible to have 3 categories in one portfolio list and another 3 in another list on the same page?
2: I have a lot of products and I have them broken down into 6 categories. I don’t want to show all of them all of them at once so I place the number 8 in the settings. The problem is, when I use the filter…it only applies to the 8 that are shown…..not the whole product range which I have hidden. Is there a way of fixing this?

If you are talking about products, it would be the best if you contact plugin authors for that (WooCommerce shop) or read theirs docs.
If you are talking about portfolio, unfortunately answer is ‘no’ for both questions.

1. The product pictures appear blurry in the desktop version of the site, although I already run the plugin “Regenerate Thumbnails”. On the single product site the picture is crispy as uploaded.. Any Ideas?

Yes, Select Slider is for full width pages only.
Regarding Select Carousel slider, you need to insert carousel items first in admin > Select Carousel section. After that, you need to insert “Select Carousel” shortcode anywhere on page.
Regarding image slider (600×400), you can use Select Image Slider or Image Gallery shortcodes.

I love your theme and just have one question before I purchase. I was looking at the Violet version of the theme and in the Small Slider Project , I was wondering whether there is a way to add a thumbnail navigation strip below the slider (this would also be useful on the blog page as well). This is really the only thing that is important to me that I found missing from the theme.

That is a row with “Parallax” type selected. Edit row, and select it to be “Parallax” type, after that you will see the background image filed in which you can set the background image. “Check our portfolio” text is just ordinary content in that row.

Hi there,
I believe there is a bug with the theme. When I try to save an icon with the icon_type as a circle using the backend editor, it doesn’t save it and uses the normal icon_type. This also happens when you already have an icon that already has an icon_type as a circle. The only way I can amend it is to load the classic code and insert the relevant parameters in the actual shortcode.

You can use this css for any page, just note that each page has it’s own ID, so you need to adjust the ID in the custom css code. It also depends on the header type you use.

Hello, I have looked everywhere but cannot find where to change the text of the contact button on the hazel theme contact template. I can change the title text and subtitle text from Say Hello! Ect…. but the submit button says ‘Contact Us’ which makes no sense because I am an individual not a company. Please advise. Thanks
Nevermind, I edited the contact page template php file and uploaded it with FTP. STILL having issue though with a huge gap between the contact form and the header. theres lots of white space that I can’t seem to get rid of with custom css…. ??? please help me. [I tried to use Contact form 7 instead of the theme contact template but it looked SO shitty and there doesn’t seem to be the ability to customise contact form 7 in this theme? maybe I bug I thought Id point out while I was at it.] Its taking me forever just to create a simple nice looking contact form! rolls eyes. deannaalys.com/contact

Hi, after updating to Wordpress 4.5 my logo has disappeared – can you please help me out? I tried to contact you through ticksy but it says support has expired. However I think this has nothing to do with support – I made no changes in settings, I did not install new plugins and I know how to setup the logo – it’s just nog working after the wp update. Please update your Hazel theme now, to the version 3.1 that was released few days ago.

after it, deactivate and delete Visual Composer, and click on notification to install/activate it again, to get the latest version.
And make sure to delete browser cache as well!
