Hello gentlemen,

Since the latest update, the custom CSS snippet you provided to remove the red background block from the payment options area on the Checkout page no longer works.

Here is the code you gave me at the time:

.woocommerce-checkout #payment, .woocommerce-checkout #payment div.payment_box { background: none !important; } .woocommerce-checkout #payment div.payment_box { color: #555 !important; }

Could you let me know how to update this CSS to remove the red rectangle?

Hi Andrew,

This is happening because you have added those Custom CSS codes:

.woocommerce-checkout #payment {
    background: #de3421;
}

.woocommerce-checkout #payment div.payment_box {
    background-color: #c82f1e;
    color: #fff;
}

Just remove that code and the red color will be removed.

Hi guys…after the last update my visual composer is not working. Also Contact page is premanently redirecting and can no longer be viewed…any ideas what’s going on.

Please note that the Visual Composer has done some changes, and you need to hard-refresh the browser, this is what other users have reported and after loading the new JS files of Visual Composer it turned to work fine.

Make sure you have latest version of Aurum as well v2.9.2

This requires too much customizations, and that user has made those customizations on their theme because he must know PHP.

We recommend you to search for a plugin that can do this job, it may be easier for you too.

Thank you very much for letting us know about this bug, it seems that our code doesn’t work on old PHP versions, because on our testings on localhost the search worked perfect, but our sever (and probably your server too) is using an old version. We just fixed this to work on both :)

So please download this file search.php and replace it to wp-content> themes> aurum.

We will include this fix on the next version of the theme :)

i have a problem. I builded my page with your template. thanks for that. i really like it. Now the page is finish and i was checking the page on my smart phone. For my shock, i cant find any menü for mobile version..

Need your help,,, all is fine wit the page just the mobile menu is missing..

You to create a separate menu for your mobile devices, to do this create a new menu and then go to Appearance > Menus at the top select Menu Locations tab, then make sure you’ve set the Mobile Menu to the menu you just created, this should make it work :)

Hi, Hope you’re doing well. I’m having issues with an element in the visual composer, and the way it reacts in responsive setting. I have 4 image banners side by side on a single row (in desktop mode), each contains text. When switching to mobile-view, I want these 4 banners to rearrange, forming 2 rows of 2 banners. I’ve done this in the “responsive setting” tab for the row element. However, the text does not scale to fit the new dimension of the banner, and overflows. Is there a setting or a CSS file I can edit to fix this ?

Hi Aurum Team,

panadise.com I have an issue with the responsiveness of my theme. The mobile version looks completely different than the full site version. Plus the Aurum menu still shows up even though I deleted it. The page title is showing up even though I have a plug-in to hide the title. The Banners from VC are not showing up, instead, the shortcodes are been display. Please help… :(

Thanks for the tip, I assigned the menu in the theme customizer last night. I just can’t get the mobile site to look like the full site on my phone. Can u assist me with that?

There’s the matter of the border around the slider, the menu looks diferent and there’s the site title showing.

This is a really strange issue, I remember we have had a problem like this with another user (this is not a theme issue), in the mobile view your site is loading another theme and not Aurum as you can see, that’s why it is not displaying the same.

Can you please send us your WP and FTP credentials on email? We need to investigate your problem and then get back to you with possible solution.

Some time ago I updated Wordpress to newer version and now Visual Composer stopped working (It’s just loading). Recently I also updated theme to newest version but I got VCB version 4.9 not the latest 4.11. Please help to me to make it work. Also change I made recently is increasing the size of uplaod in php.ini. That are only changes I made.

Please first make sure that you are using Aurum 2.9.2 :)

The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure.

Very Important: After you update the theme please don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support. Specially Visual Composer.

Note: If you can’t update LayerSlider, go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and – delete LayerSlider plugin then install it from Install Plugins page again. Your current sliders will not be deleted.

Hi I am trying to add the main image to the product detail page. I have added it everywhere I can think of but its not appearing as I need it.

I found an issue with either your theme, VC or Woocommerce but I’m not sure which. On my home page – www.blueskylingerie.com – right near the bottom I have used the VC element: Woocommerce Product Category from the VC tab Woocommerce. I added a featured image to each of the 4 product categories displaying on the home page, these images are 600×480px. Yet on the front-end the images are showing up quite pixellated. On mobile they are showing even more pixellated. Can you take a look and see if this is an issue with your theme?

This is a built in feature within our theme, so in this case you may choose to use the original image for the categories you have added, in this way:

add_filter( 'laborator_wc_category_thumbnail_size', create_function( '', 'return "original";' ) );

Add this code in functions.php and it will use the images you have uploaded.

Hi! Good day. I’m trying to set a transparent header and as I read here the idea is that I should go to the Page editor and look below the main textarea for the three tags where I will find the way to enable it. The problem is, the tags aren’t there. I have the last update of Aurum and so far everything has been working well. Why could it not be there?

This happened because WordPress made some changes. But don’t worry, we will update Aurum tomorrow and that tab will appear again on your site.

When the update it’s ready you will receive an email if you have enabled “Get notified by email if this item is updated” from your Downloads tab.

hi. i have 4 problems. I already ask you how to fix it. but we couldn’t solve. i hired someone to solve my problems but everyone say that the problem is because of theme.

okay my first problem is not about your theme. But Second problem is because of theme. Third problem is because of theme. Fourth problem is page speed. Everyone tell me that theme use too much plugins. That’s why it’s too slow.

1. price by country; for example american people should see only price for America.

there should be different prices by country. But at the same time, american people shouldn’t see other prices even if they change language or currency. let’s say price for america is $20 price for russia is $15 so american people shouldn’t see price for russia even if they change language or curreny.

2. Currency in cart; for example i choose $ in currency switcher and everything exchange to $ but not in cart.

3. language switcher on mobile; i can’t change languages on mobile. only the first 2-3 or 4 languages are shown and able to change.

1. For the issue with prices, can you please send us your FTP credentials, I need to analyze why the price stays in Turkish Lira when currency is changed.

2. For the language dropdown, also will fix this bug when I login to your FTP.

3. The page speed depends on the plugins its true, but also the server may some time take a longer to execute requests, and as we know, a lot of users who use WPML have issues with site speed. This is purely their problem when it comes to site speed.

We have dedicated server, and I have analyzed the “multilingual” version of Aurum which uses WPML, and so that was the only demo that takes longer to execute because of the structure WPML applies to their code. We cannot do anything about this.

As for WPML compatibility, if you have managed to translate the theme completely than it says it all, theme can be translated via WPML.

I saw that you are using an very old version of our premium plugins Visual Composer and Layer Slider and this may be the cause of your problem. Each time after you update the theme please don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

P.S: If you can’t update LayerSlider, go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and – delete LayerSlider plugin then install it from Install Plugins page again. Your current sliders will not be deleted.

Also please disable Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer because that plugin is very old and may not work nice with our theme.

Thanks, I updated the plugins and the backend editor is working.

I still have a problem with my cart though. Since I updated the theme to the latest version, I can’t add products to the cart or view my cart. There is a 0 showing as if I had 0 items in my cart.

How can I fix this urgently? Right now nobody can buy anything.

Thanks for writing in! Please don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support, then if your problem is still active please reply us again here with a detailed explanation of your problem.

If after updating the premium plugins the problem is still present, then can you please disable all your third-party plugins (plugins that don’t come with our theme) one by one, and check if this problem is solved.

I’ve been trying to change the text excerpt extension from post preview in many different ways you explained … but I couldn’t and I drives me crazy … the default size is too long … so … I would like to suggest you to add a new field in the Blog section of Theme Options to choose with a number the size of the blog post preview excerpt so the theme would add a new functionality, quite useful for the blog and the theme appearance. I would be very pleased if you do that for the next update. Thanks.
