i have checked, it’s working fine with mouse SCROLL WHEEL for minimize and maximize; but with the mouse it really behaving abnormal.
When i maximize the image using the + magnifier and mouse over then image start behaving abnormal. I am really not able to control the image using mouse over. i can share you the screen video recording or image if you provide me any email id.
We’ve checked (in all browsers) and there is no bug. Could you pls share the video here or via support section.

I cannot see your video. Could you pls let me know which device and browser are you using to test this function on theme? We really dont realize any issues like that.

It is very likely that some files got broken during upload or some files are missing. So it is highly recommended to upload zipped files and extract the archive on the server. This will eliminate potential issues with missing/broken files.
Or if you are using older version of Porto, pls try to upgrade your theme to latest vesion 2.2.0.

Hi, we had the theme (demo 14) installed for a development site.. looked okay.. but could not create customer account. See below link. after filling info, and submitted it, page reloaded, but back to “create account page” with no account created.

Creating accounts is not theme related, this is core functionality of Magento, theme doesn’t control this in any way.
I’d recommend to check this on Magento default, or send us your info details via support section. I may help you on this

One thing for theme installation for 1.x, so the right way to install as below sequence 1) upload all from ‘Porta Theme” 2) upload Porto Theme (patch for Configurable Swatches) 3) upload Porto Theme (patch for Magento 1.9.2.2 and SUPEE-6788) 4) upload Porto Theme (patch for Magento 1.9.2.x)

Thanks.We actually figured out the problem. right, it was not theme issue. It was caused by an extension called Customer Attribute, which had an issue to work with 1.9.2.4.

Hi all,
Loving the Porto theme so far on a fresh 1.9.2 Magento installation.
The problem is, we’re getting on average 4-5 seconds of wait before the first byte is transferred. I’ve disabled the theme, and went back to the default magento theme, and our load time is 300ms.
Do you know what could be causing the delay?
It’s on a strong AWS setup, all cache on. We have another setup on the same server, and constantly loads at 400ms.
I want to go through and start disabling all of the Smartwave stuff to see where the problem lies, but was hoping you could offer some insight. (i’ve already disabled most, and still the same problem)

If your Magento is working fast with such big catalog and your server is good then the theme should also work well, there are no restriction in the theme itself. But please note that speed is mostly related to the server and Magento optimization. Things like search performance or site loading time are not related directly to the theme, they are done by Magento core code.
Porto itself is well optimized, well-structured PHP, HTML and CSS. It load fast even on cheap server. To solve the issue like that, You can enable CSS and JavaScript merging directly in Magento settings in System > Config > Developer

=> Please Do Not tell me “enable merge JS” again! It is no use…. I read the magento2 developer document today, the error could never be solved by “merge js”. Because merge js only works on layout in head, not works on code of Require JS … And all the refreshing page js error are all happening at require js code. And I study the code, and you told me remove the parallex stellar code. But I think that removing parallex stellar code is not a good solution to fixe this problem.. We should focus on why refreshing the page make jquery and requirejs not woks well… I also found every time refreshing page will include “jquery.js” TWICE!!!! One is come from Smartwave/porto/Magento_Theme/layout/ , and the other one is come from porto’s require js code. The js error happen when it is include “jquery.js” TWICE after refreshing page.

Yes, you are right. Merging is applicable only for assets included via layouts. if the asset is included directory on a page or using Require Js techniquue, it will not be merged. SO There are two preconditions for using this option properly:
1. You need to run dev/tools/Magento/Tools/View/deploy.php script.
2. Switch from “default” or “developer” mode to “production” mode.
I know this method cannot be best solution at this time. But we are working hard on fixing this type of issue in next version (around next 2 weeks). Could you pls be patience and consider your rate again.

I enabled full page cache for the frontend.Now while loading a page a distorted page is visible for a few seconds until page loads fully.I installed the quick start package.Kindly tell me how to rectify it. Also while loading the newsletter popup shows up in the footer.until loading is complete.

I dont know extractly which header link you want to remove. There are some suggests for you.
- you can do it in /app/design/frontend/smartwave/porto/template/page/html/header_type9[Your Header Type].phtml file.
- If you want to remove the login/register link, please try to add below custom style into System > Configuration > Porto > Porto – Settings Panel > Customization Settings.

That file path is incorrect in several places and I cant see where the header variations are, also this file will just call the header links block, I need to remove one of those links so I need to fin the header.links file

You need to fix your code eg demo 9 “SALE” and “FREE SHIPPING” top left side banner so that adblockers do not think its advertisement and block components from loading in firefox. You were made aware of this issue via support.

I have told you exactly how it does it! I have shown you proof of exactly how. Anyone can visit your demo 9 with ADB on and will not see the free shipping n sale banners above testimonials on the left side in Firefox. Turn off ADB and you see it. Turn it back on and you don’t see it. Same thing inside product listing. Clearly needs to be fixed and the coding is the reason.
Sorry for my mad. Dont worry, I just not ure how adblock works with the theme. This is on our improvement list for next update. Will give you solution asap.
