I’ve just updated the theme code and visual composer and that fixed an issue I had but problem with the menu. When I attempt to save an edited menu I get forwarded to the homepage frontend and the menu is not save. Have you seen this issue? Thanks a lot

I have a website populated with demo7 content but visual composer does not show that content. So, I cannot edit the content. I does look like I can add elements of new content using visual composer though.
I can see a link to register VC but the form doesnt work or take you anywhere.
I have a VC license document in my downloads but there is no product code (not that I’ve seen anywhere to input it.
Please advise.

After latest core WordPress update to version 4.5+ there is conflict with jQuery.
All you should do is to - update our theme to latest version 1.4.1; - update VC to latest version 4.11.2.1 (came bundled).
After this, make sure all cache is cleared and everything should be working back fine.

Unfortunately the parallax effect depends on the device it is being viewed on. Some devices have better support for parallax, some don’t, which is why we have included an option in our theme to disable parallax on touch devices, in which case parallax images would be displayed as normal images on all touch devices.

One question before I buy. I love on the demo the top 2 sections with the parallax motion effects, particularly where it states “ALL THE PIECES FALL INTO PLACE WITH BURST”. I will buy this simply for that section on my website, lol. Can you tell me how I can get this editable for my site, or if I can achieve this using features of this theme, or is it something custom to your Live Demo that is not included with the theme? Are you using Google Map element from Visual Composer? That element is using default Google Maps API.
You can always embed Google Map directly by pasting the embed iframe into RAW HTML element from Visual Composer, to get the results you want.

The WordPress update to 4.5.2 has known issues with jquery causing conflicts with Burst-theme. After we updated Wordpress we got 404-errors on all pages except homepage. We tried re-saving permalinks and update our .htaccess – no luck. Chatting with WPengine adviced us to contact the theme developer about the prevalent jquery errors that are causing this to happen.

1. Please make sure main theme is activated while performing other steps
2. Go to Plugins page in your WordPress Dashboard, locate Visual Composer in the list, deactivate it and delete it
3. You will see message that required plugin is missing at the top of your WordPress Dashboard
4. Install the plugin and then activate it
Please also make sure to clear your browser cache after you have updated Visual Composer.
Everything should work just fine then with the latest WordPress.

I logged in to my wordpress today to find that visual composer no longer shows up on the backend. I didn’t even change anything—I just logged in and visual composer no longer works. I then updated wordpress and Burst theme with no help. And to make things worse, my support just ran out.

1 – Is it possible to create a smooth scroll on a desktop? Like you did in the demo.
2 – When I use the responsive version on my iPhone, the navigation links in the main menu won’t work. They don’t navigate to the specific part of the website.

Thanks for updating on this. Just make sure to create your anchors in a right way :
For each row/section on your page, in row settings, you should set some unique Anchor ID (not ID, but in Anchor ID field) http://screencast.com/t/ycOwqRJYAnG
And then, in Appearance -> Menus add Custom Links and enter the Anchor ID with the leading hash symbol (#) in the field labeled URL.

Two questions about the integrated Google Maps element:
1.) When «Zoom Map on Mouse Wheel» is set to «NO», how can I make the zoom function work on a mobile (e.g. Sony Xperia Z3 compact with android 5.1.1)? The little buttons (+/-) don’t work and double tapping on the screen also doesn’t work. On a bigger screen (desktop) both works.
2.) Is it possible to deactivate or turn off the integrated Google Maps function – and if the answer is yes, how?

1. You need to enable Zoom Map on Mouse Wheel for this buttons to work properly on mobiles.
2. This can be done, by removing theme’s default call for google maps API. Submit a ticket to https://mikado.ticksy.com , and our support will point you out how to remove it.

This been said, I wanted to ask you a tiny thing :
When using VC to add a “blog list” within a page with a “image in left boxe” type, is there a way to have the day within a span so I can add different styles from the month. I try to have the exact same layout than the blog page for day and month (day > bold; month > thin;), in result, I need to have 3 blog post in a middle of page with other modules after the blog part. That’s why im not creating a page with a blog template directly.

Thank you for your continued great support. I hope there’s a simple way to stop the shop’s product images from sliding. From your demo shop when you view a product the product’s images are auto sliding. I simply want static images, no sliding, how do I achieve this?

Unfortunately there is no option for this in our theme.

I appreciate there is no specific setting at the back-end to stop product image gallery from sliding, but the sliding product image gallery is not a default woocommerce feature, this is a feature you’ve implemented in your theme so there must be a way to disable it. As nice a feature as it is, it is simply not suitable for my project and I desperately need to disable it. Please kindly provide me with some guidance on how to disable this feature. In Mikado Settings -> Elements -> Parallax, you can enable parallax effect for touch devices. It will work properly on all devices that support it.

In Mikado Settings -> Footer, you need to enable the uncovering footer for your site.
It will be applied to all the pages, and the content for your footer is created in Appearance -> Widgets, inside appropriate footer columns.

It’s already enabled from the start, still not getting any footer on the homepage. I have already added a support ticket with the link of my website. I need it to be added as soon as possible.
