Hello and thanks for contacting us. The theme comes with two forms builders, one is included with the booking calendar and the other is Formidable.

Formidable is a stand alone form builder that you can use anywhere on the site and as a standalone form tool. The WP Booking system includes availability calendar and also has form builder. They work together.

You can use the booking calendars on their own as well just to show availability but once you use them with the form builder you can allow people to choose their check in / check out dates and submit that info through the form.

Yes you can use the booking system just for sending notifications / and auto responders, that works too. The requests will queue up in the dashboard but you can just ignore them and only use the admin email notifications and customer auto responder to run your business. Both are also optional.

It’s very flexible.

Hi there, I’m not entirely sure how the WP Booking System works for Users, I think you need to be an admin to manage it. There might be some access if you go inside the calendar as the admin and give that user permissions to access it. You’ll find this under WP Booking / Calendars / ’’Assign users to this calendar”. Once that is saved, then you can play around with that users permissions levels so they can see that calendar. I”m not sure if it’s editor, author or more. Try them out and see.

Hi! Sorry for the delay, yes the demos are virtually identical apart from the images and some very minor tweaks. We have explained the reasons for providing one import file in this article with some helpful links:

We provide links to most of the photos used in the demos as they are licensed as creative commons. The article above explains where to find the links to these.

To customize any of the templates, look in the templates folder and activate our child theme, then copy any of the templates over to the child theme inside the templates folder and you can customize as you like. Each template file represents 1 of the different content blocks from the meta box builder. The meta box builder can do a lot so you should be able to customize a lot of the page without having to edit the html or php.

We’ve provided a lot of help, and you can find links to all our resources under Appearance / Theme Options / Help Tab. This includes videos, 70+ articles, public support tickets, FAQs, and documentation.

If you need anything at all just create a ticket for our support team. We are very good about getting back to you and assisting. A link to our support system is also under the help tab mentioned above.

Hello. Regarding the fees and taxes, you can set this up in WooCommerce. It has a very good tax rate table depending on where the buyers is from or you can change everyone who buys through you. That’s pretty easy to setup in WooCommerce.

The cleaning fee is pretty straight forward as well. We wrote an article about it here: https://themovation.ticksy.com/article/7343/

1) Adding tax rate – Yes, via woocommerce setup.

2) Adding a cleaning fee or pet fee that is non taxable. Yes, in that article I included there is a plugin that allows you to choose taxed or non taxed. I think it’s free.

3) Yes the coupon system is already built into WooCommerce. You can learn more about it here: https://docs.woothemes.com/document/coupon-management/ – You can do a percentage, not sure about the buy 2 get one free though.

4) Yes, you can download the csv through woocommece. You can find out more here: https://docs.woothemes.com/document/ordercustomer-csv-exporter/ – I think this is free as well. The booking system has it’s own customer list but this is not exportable at this time. You can certainly hire a developer to export this if you need to but WooCommerce should have all the customer information it it as well.

The booking system passes the booking total off to WooCommerce and then the customer fills out their billing info at that time, so WooCommerce will have more accurate billing information in it’s database vs the WP booking System.

Oh okay, I’m a little confused, but you’re saying the Wp Booking System integrates with WooCommerce to collect payment, but will manage the bookings through WP Booking System. Sounds a little tricky. Do you have demos of the admin area?

Hi! WooCommerce handles the payment and WP Booking handles all the booking information. The reason I mentioned WooCommerce is because you requested a CSV export and WooCommerce has this option. The customer will be providing their email address (and other billing info to Woo) if you have online payments setup. You could export the customer info such as email and other billing details via WooCommerce.

All the booking / pending / approval / auto responders are managed in WP Booking. Only payments are processed via WooCommerce.

1) Yes you can do both, the theme includes a shop where you can setup products for sale.

2) Yes, the apartments can be added through the rooms custom post type if you wish or you can also add the apartment as a product page. The products can be added to your shop and you can use it’s product page separate from the apartment page.

3) The Apartments can be managed by the Rooms Custom Post type. You can even change the permalink to ‘apartments’ instead of ‘rooms’. You would manage the product in WooCommerce as a product.

This all sounds possible and should work well with our theme.

Hey! Thanks for the follow up. The plugin developer is actually adding this to the plugin, we just don’t have an eta right now. It’s suppose to be in the next few months. You can always use a plugin to help add extra charges or upsells to the order via WooCommerce.

What’s exciting is that we are enhancing the booking plugin with a lot more integration with WooCommerce, it should be ready in the next two months.

Not sure what you mean by a hour filter. You can book by single or multiple day. You can add any custom field you like to the booking form.

Yes you can make it so the auto-pending is turned off, allowing unlimited bookings for the calendar.

Yes you can add as many rooms as you like. They don’t have to be rooms, you can add them as buildings or apartments. You can also organize them in as many groups as you like. Yes the booking system is translatable. Works great with Polylang which is a free plugin and also WPML.

As for the channel manager, the booking system included already does exporting to airbnb etc, but for importing we are working on a solution for that. It’s not ready just yet. I’m not sure how bed24 works but I suppose it could. The best way to sync is to use ical and we’ve got that working for exporting from WP Booking System to all other calendars, just the importing into WP Booking System is the next step.

Yes the Photoshop file is organized in a very efficient way, we do this to it’s easy to make a mock up for you or clients. It’s free and bundled with the theme. The photoshop file is just for mockups, so if you wanted to change the way the theme works you would like to use the theme options control panel or you may need to customize the theme with a child theme which we also bundle. Hello, the theme comes bundled with Master Slider Pro but if you want to use Rev slider then that should work as well. You can use it in place of the Master Slider shortcode. It will certainly work in the content editor.

Yes Visual Composer will work but we don’t apply our styling to the short codes that come with VC. So for example if you add testimonials using VC it might not look like the ones on the demo because you are using the shortcodes that come with VC and not ours. We’ve had others use VC but using our meta box builder is going to generate the best results if you want your site to look like our demos.

Yes you can book by room, each room has it’s own calendar. The same person could book multiple rooms but you would need to make separate requests but the checkout can be done in 1 order. What this means it that you make a booking request for each room / calendar, when you add your order to the cart you can continue to add more rooms or you can choose to checkout. Basically the booking engine passes the total off to WooCommerc for each booking. There is nothing stopping a visitor for booking multiple rooms and then checking out with one big order. Each booking request for each room gets logged in the database as a separate booking.

Our support is very good. We don’t give priority but we try to get to everyone as quickly as possible. If there is a real emergency then sometimes you can jump the queue. Extended support is a cost savings for you because you are getting better price by purchasing more support up front.

Hello, you could use rooms for both but when it comes to the permalink you would need to choose one or choose something that is ambiguous. So mydomain.com/stay/room1 or mydomain.com/stay/yachts and then use groups to separate them. That is possible.
