Ever since upgrading to Muse 2015.2, my tablet and phone pages only show a blank page. I downloaded the 06/18 update and copied over the tersus.js, css, and smoothscroll.js files. After some debugging, it’s coming down to the tersus.js file and it will only work if I comment out the new WOW and WOW.init() functions. Any ideas? It’s almost like it won’t render if it can’t find the WOW library.

Let me know which template are you using. Also, do you see the same problem when you open the item main preview link with the same devices? If yes, let me know what OS do the devices run, for example iOS or Android.
The problem with the WOW functions is new to me. Thanks for reporting it, I will check it out. Before that, in the additional JQuery CDN. If yours is still using v2.2.3, change it to v1.8.3. See Image:

Just sent you email. I did change it to 1.8.3 so I;m scratching my heads. I’m testing on Android and also via my Macbook on both Chrome and Safari.
I’ve received your email with the links and I can see the problem. Would you be able to send the project file along with the Assets folder to me? The Images folder is not necessary, but you can also include it together, up to you.
Since the problem is not happening on the item main preview links, there probably something that need to be updated or changed on your project file.
You can send via We Transfer or any other file transfer services to the same email.

Thanks! You’re amazing doing tech support this late at night. I was messing with the file on my website and wrapped those calls in a try/catch block and that got the site to at least render. However, I lost the slide in rect for the menu.

If you’re part of the Beta program for Muse, this dialog would be displayed if the file was opened and saved using a Prerelease/Beta version of Muse. (Once saved with a newer version of Muse, a file can no longer be opened by the older version(s).) If that isn’t your situation, please send us the .muse file at muse-support@adobe.com (along with a link to this thread for context) so we can investigate further. If the file is larger than 20Mb you can send it using a service such as DropBox, WeTransfer, Adobe SendNow, etc. Thanks.

I am wondering why view in the website or preview takes so much time? I’ve tried both on mac and pc. Is it due lack of any package, javascript, or something?
How can I remove some sections from this template? I don’t want to have all elements. When I remove any section, the home section photos stay on the back!

The long loading time is a common issue with Muse particularly on a more complicated site. The problem can only be seen on the responsive sites but not the alternate layout sites. Unfortunately, there is no way to fix this problem for the time being. The problem has been discussed in a few Adobe forum threads, and they are aware of it.
You can check this video to see how to elements can be removed. It basically just select and delete. This is based on template 3: http://bit.ly/1T6M3u0
The Home Slide can be seen, because at the Pin setting, the element has been set to always stick on top even when the page is scrolled down. So if you don’t want the Home Slide to stick on top, you can disable it at the Pin setting. You can also use a background to cover the Home Slide from being seen. sorry normal I know where I can edit the site lenght. I use the Layout 8 sigle page layout and delete a few things on the page. Normal the page is more than 19173 pixel high. I need only 13000 pixel. How I can reduce the lenght ?

In the video, the height is set by dragging the handle arrow. You can set the height to 13000 in the Page Properties. However, this is only allowed in the Alternate Layout template.

Hi, in responsive version, only the minimum height can be set. You can try to use the Min Height option, and put the 13000 value.

Anyway this is what you can do. Open the Master Page’s Page Properties dialog. In the Metadata box, look for this line:

That should do it. After you paste, remember to arrange the position of the elements in every breakpoints.

Hi, the only thing that you have to do is to make sure that the additional JQuery version in your current site is version 1.8.3. See image: http://bit.ly/28NQQPy Some older Tersus versions have the additonal Jquery v2.2.3, which will not work with the new Muse. The dialog box can be seen in the Master Page’s Page Properties. Unfortunately there is no ‘one click ’ update in Muse. The platform is just not set up that way.

Thanks for reporting the problem. Can I know which version of Tersus you are using? There’s an update on May 8 2016 (v3.0.1.1).
That one should be working fine with Muse 2015.2. However I will check further and update all templates to the latest Muse version asap.

Hi,
I’ve spent the best part of two hours attempting to install Tersus theme. I have read through your documentation and tried uploading via: – Envator Toolkit – your theme simply doesn’t come up, I’ve deleted it from ‘themes’ section and ftp and even checked my envato account - FTP – tried installing via ftp – says stylesheet is missing – then when I try to install a theme manually it raises an error concerning further stylesheet missing and yes I’m uploading to the right folder wp-content/theme - installing theme manually through wordpress – just gives me a generic error saying theme failed and not installed.
I’m at a loss as what to do – I do not want to give a bad review or anything like that but I want this to work as well. Please help.

It seems like you have purchased the wrong product. As stated on the item front page, this is a product for the Adobe Muse platform. It wont work with the WordPress platform.
Oh! I am extremely sorry.. I got so caught up in the visuals that I did not read the description thoroughly. Do you offer an WP theme products or is there anyway I can get a refund?

The WordPress version is currently under development by another team. I can’t really say much about it now since I’m not part of the team working on it.
Refund is possible but it depends on the situation. This is because the product is a digital copy that can be downloaded upon purchasing and returning it back doesn’t really meant anything to the seller. A copy can still be at the buyer side. Regarding the problem. Have you make sure that the element’s ID in the Map widget is correct? This is how you can get an element’s ID: https://goo.gl/gucIbA
Copy the ID and paste it inside the Map Widget (see image): https://goo.gl/oFEB5H
Remember that when you move the rectangle from one page to another, the ID will change. Even when you cut and paste it within the same page, the ID will change.

Hello, back from holiday. So far the page is running 100% well. The Adobe Maps Widget does it as well.
Your maps are just cooler. I can get the element’s ID, but your second screenshot is maybe for something else. I don’t see where I should paste the element’s ID sorry. There is also no map widget under elements, only Gmap v1 with <> on the Layout. That ID is u22178.

First of all I’d like to clarify that the widget is not created by me. You can refer the documentation for more details regarding the widget.
For your question, you have to select the <> object and click on the blue button to open its options setting. In the setting panel, you can key in the ID. See image: https://goo.gl/WgDEqJ

Aha, it is further down in the documentation. You grab the ID from Chrome Browser and not inside Muse. That worked like a charm.

I took care of this issue. I went to Font Awesome and downloaded the fonts and uploaded vis my Typeset Self Hosted Fonts. Now it works fine.

The documentation is a PDF file. Once you extract the the zip file and open the folder, you should see it. The file name is ‘Main Documentation’.
Ok site is up and working great. emails sent from website contact form going to junk mail folder. (emails sent from regular email clients work fine as usual). Any ideas? thanks!
I’m not totally sure that I’m right on this but this is what I think is the reason.
Currently the web is hosted on the subdomain of 4kfinish.com. However the email that has been set inside the Email to: box is probably from a different domain or email provider. Therefore, the security check might have been failed thus resulting the sent email being marked as spam.
The first probable solution is to host the site in the same domain as the email.
For another solution, since the email sent from the contact form will only be seen by the owner of the site. He can change his email setting so that any mail sent from the contact form will not be marked or sent to the spam box in the future.

I thought the same thing, but this is happening now that it is on his server www.joepistorio.com – he is aware of it and watching his spam box and has contacted his hosting company to check his email dos stuff. but yes he can add the address to a white list or something. thanks!
Ok almost done… I’ve been modifying Tersus design 1 as a simple video portfolio page (incredibly hard thing to find on ThemeForest btw). The site looks great – really cool template. Love Tersus, HATE Muse. Last thing is I’m trying to add another group of 3 client logos in the slider. Followed the PDF from an earlier reply on how to do this, but when I do it to the 1200 page, it completely screws up the other sizes, throwing those whole pages into disarray, and I can’t fix it. (also can’t select all 3 logos to copy in place at once as in the tutorial, so have to copy one at a time). otherwise thanks for all the help!
I’m customizing design 1 and I can’t find any documentation or posts on how to modify Footer elements. I need to delete some social media icons, add social media web links, change copyright etc. It all seems locked, but the layers window is not locked. I don’t see layers for all of the footer elements, just the “top of page” button.
For some templates, the footer elements have been placed inside the Master Page.

I have purchased the Tersus – Business Portfolio Parallax Muse Template. Very pleased and excited with the design of your template.
I’m a photographer, not a lot of experience with Muse or with programming for that matter. Beginning to put together my photos, text, logos etc.
I will be using design 8 multi or single not sure yet. Needed to know what is the best size and resolution for more photos? And what would it be better to use, JPEG’s or PNG’s?, or?
I believe these are very basic questions more, but have not found info on the web.
Would appreciate your help and advice!

Hi,
Use 72 resolution for big images and always save them in JPG format. You need to also compress the files and save them to be smaller, and the best way to do that is by using the Save for Web function in Photoshop. Go to this sites to learn more:

For smaller logos and icons with flat colors, it’s more common to save them in PNG format, also with the Save for Web function in Photoshop.
While personally I think the Photoshop tool is the best way to compress images for website, they are also other options to do that. Checkout this site:

I’m not sure this is something that is possible to be done inside the Muse app. I might be wrong but to my knowledge, this involves editing the ’.htacess’ file in the HTML folder.
