If you still need this – you can add customizations in file inc/parts/query_type1, inc/parts/query_type1 in child recash folder or inc/parts/compact_grid in main theme (depending on module which you use)

1. There is no such menu in theme, but I have a plans to change current menu to off canvas menu in future + add multicolumn function to menu
2. You need to change login shortcode function. You can find it in shortcodes/shortcodes.php file (function wpsm_user_modal_shortcode)

1. What do you mean by custom header? Theme has 7 header variants, one of header variant is customizable header, where you can enable/disable some elements. You can find it in theme option – header option

Custom header mean wordpress admin and other user role add specific header or random header image for each content item(post and pages)

1. There is no separate custom header for each post in theme, but I think you need custom banner instead custom header, because header has logo, menu and other elements which usually are globally on site. Custom banner area is available in theme

This is not custom header.
wp-display-header is useless with theme, because you can control all settings of header inside theme option – header option. Background image, color, top line, elements, etc
To make images under header – you can use ready templates from visual composer. See examples

Currently there is no such option (only branded banner can be set separatelly). But if you tell me which of header image you want to change – I can give you css sollution for this.

Hi, my directory site has multiple categories of products. I’m using Specification Tabs and want to create a tab similar to in your demo, the specification tab with the list of various features for the product.
I create mdtf filters and was able to use that to create the tab. However, each of my product categories has different labels for features. How can I use a different set of features for different categories?
Currently, there is no option to make different tabs for categories. This works only for different post types. If you need – it’s possible to create custom extension for plugin which will work based on categories instead of custom post types. Such extension will cost $10

Right now I’m planning to use the standard Post type for my profile pages. I have multiple types of products that I’m creating profiles for. I could designate the product types by default categories or by default tags.
I’m also going to be heavily using the Blogs Custom Post Type.

Why did you make the standard Posts for profile pages and a Custom Post Type for Blogs? Just curious about the choice to make profile pages standard posts versus making a Custom Post Type for profiles.
Would you recommend I separate product types as Categories or as Tags within the standard Posts?
I made profile pages as Post type only for Redirect child theme. This is because standard Posts are default post type of wordpress and it’s better supported by different plugins and no need to create additional taxonomies for posts. So, reason is just better optimization. But it’s not required. You can set profile pages for another post type.
It’s better to use categories. Do you want to use multiple categories for each tab layout or it will be per 1 category?
Ok, will do. Should I still use categories if I plan to have hundreds of product types? I want to use one category for tab layout, I think. That might change as I use it more.

I don’t want to use many post types. Just the regular posts for profile pages and the Blog type for blog type posts. But I will have several hundred different types of products. For example, if I have a directory of laptops, cameras, game consoles, televisions, etc. these are all different product categories and they all need different specifications and filters.
So I need to be able to have different MDTF filters for the different product categories and different specification layout tabs as well.

Image logo is already clickable to home page. Text logo – is not, because I made this to prevent too much the same text links, which is not good for seo anchor profile of site

Is there a way to get the small blog thumbnails in the blog list to not be cropped so that you can actually see the whole image correctly? Sometimes it chops them so bad you have no idea what you are looking at.
Also it seems that there are articles that have comments but the comment count cloud is empty. All the comments are approved, but there is no number, not even a 0 in there
It depends on post module which you use. Some has cropped, some not cropped images, the same fro comments
how do i know what does what. I don’t understand why comments would be different for any post type? Is there a way to change the settings?
It’s different, because each module usually has own purpose. For example, some modules are good for blog loops, but other are for deal sites and comments are just not useful link. It’s not difference between post types, it’s difference for design of modules.
You can use different modules and choose which of the best for you

Perfect. Thank you. So I was working on using VC to manage the sidebars to exclude category. Worked great for a day. But as I went back to see my page today the sidebar is gone. I see it all set up properly in the backend. In VC as a widgetized sidebar but not showing up on front end…any ideas?

Checked. If you use VC for widget areas – you should not specify conditions in Woosidebar, because VC has condition inside. So, for such areas, just create it without conditions. I created test area and it works
P.s. I found a huge amount plugins on your site. Use only which you need, don’t activate all plugins. Also many plugins are not useful, because theme already has such functions.
And I recommend to create site from 0, because you have too much data from demo site and it looks like data from very old version of theme, not sure where you got it
Hi Igor. I’m using woolist that pulls product based on selected tag. My woolist code does not specify limitations on a number of products to show: [wpsm_woolist data_source=”tag” tag=”166” show=”” orderby=”meta_value” meta_key=”post_hot_count”]. But I’ve noticed that while I have 15 products in the database under this tag, only 10 of them show up in this woolist. It means that there is default show=”10” set up somewhere in your theme globally. How can I change this global default so I do not have to modify each line on every post? I looked into module_shortcodes.txt and see code ”’show’ => ‘12’,”, but it is 12, not 10, so not sure if this is relevant line. Thank you

What was a problem?
In the post I have full review with critera. But when a user wants to comment (reply) to a review they see the full review form, with sliders, with pros and cons. this is not good for just making a comment.
Is there a setting so a user can leave a reply as a comment without the full review form?
Example: A customer leaves a bad review for a product… the product owner would like to reply to the customer in a nested comment. But they do not want to use the review form.
If you don’t need user review comments – just disable them in theme option – review/affiliate – Type of user ratings
No – I do want user review and comments. But not every customer writes a review… some customers just want to respond with a single comment.
The form is the same even when you click ‘reply’. Reply does not need the full review form.
If I write a post about a camera and a customer leaves a bad review… the camera manufacturer may want to comment on the customers bad review. However when they click reply they are sent to the review form… so this can be confusing if they only wish to respond to the review.
Its not good for UX when the reply button gives visitors the full review form.

Reviews in theme works as fields in comments. Wordpress doesn’t have such role as “manufacturer”, so everybody are commenters. If you want to have such role – this is possible with customizations or additional plugins. Also, it’s possible to deactivate review form in comments for special role of users

Here is a question: When a visitor reads a user review and they hit reply on the review, they just want to leave a comment on the single review. But they are presented with the entire review form? Can they not just have a basic comment form?
I do want the review form with ratings and sliders and pros and cons for those who want to review, but I want the basic comment form for those who just want to ‘reply’ in a nested comment. So you see I want both forms for different user experience. Not for different roles
So in principle. I want the ‘default’ comment form for reply function and the review form the rest of the time.

They use our free plugin Content Egg with combination with theme functions, but it’s strange that google shows external link and review from amazon as part of site. Maybe it’s something new from google.
