For whatever reason I cannot upload the Dummy Data for the One Page Salient Demo. I do not want to change the entire theme but just take a few bits and pieces from this demo?? I can’t find where to change the hover color of the recent post feed. I have a recent post feed for my blog showing the latest three posts and the hover color is white. I would like to change that hover color to something else as the recent posts sit on a white background so on the hover you lose the name. Is there a place to change that in the theme or some simple CSS I can add? Thanks.

Is there a way to change the color of the footer and header of the theme? In the header and footer section of the admin panel there’s no option to adjust colors in those sections.

Salient offers color pickers for both of those areas
In the Salient options panel > Header Navigation tab choose “custom” for your “Header color scheme” option.
In the Salient options panel > footer tab choose “on” for the “Custom color scheme”

So on my Nav Menu I have a “Shop” section, and under this section I have a sub category. In this sub category I have a 13 products, but only 12 products are displayed when you click on this sub category. There are not buttons at the bottom that allow you to goto no the next page to view more products.
How can I change how many items are viewed on a sub category.

all that does is remove the text “All Items Loaded” – it does nothing to fix the actual issue that nothing is loaded after that but here are 150 items to load….

Is there a way to remove the lag time between pages? For our site solistone.com, it hangs for a second and then loads the page. Is there a way to eliminate that? We upgraded to a faster server, are using caching plugin and optimized images. Is there anything else we can do?

Visual Composer and WooCoomerce both require processing which will add slightly to the page time – are you using caching for pages and database or just browser caching? Depending on the caching plugin there are many different types which vary in complexity

Hello! The visual composer plugin has stopped working on my site. Any suggestions as to why that is happening?

The only version of Salient that is compatible with the latest WP is Salient 7.0.9, and the only version of Salient Visual Composer that is compatible with WP 4.5 is 4.11.2. If you’re using older versions of these and have updated to WP 4.5, your visual composer will not work.
Once you’ve updated Salient, head to the plugins section of your admin panel to update Visual Composer. If you’re having issues after using both the current versions, check for third party plugin issues – WP 4.5 added a new version of jQuery and a lot of plugins broke because of it.

I have activated secondary header with social media icons and I also have some menu items on the right hand side, I would like to display the social media icons on the right hand side as well, but after the custom menu items. Do you have custom code that I can include to achieve this?

I’ve noticed when testing the video nectar slider cross browser that IE displays a blank section where the video should be playing. I’ve used all 3 video types(webm, mp4 and OGV) which have all been converted using the online converter mentioned in your troubleshooting user guide.

Yes – that would be the easiest. The alternative would be using css to hide the logos based on the page ID – but you’d still need to add all the images into the header.php

Thanks, there are a number of logo references in the header.php – I am using the default-logo dark-version. Would you be able to give me some example code of how to change this (if for example my new logo is ’/logo-green.png’) as I am having issues getting this to work.

hi first i want to say what a great theme you have i want to buy but before that i want few questions answered 1-can i create something like the portfolio in the agency home page demo using the image gallery element ? 2-can i create a full width mansory with images and without having to create portfolios
