How do i customize menu for mobile ?
Hi,
Sorry to say that there is no option to create your different menu for the mobile version. In our theme, there is only one menu which works on the both mobile and desktop. You can not create a different menu for mobile.

which menu should i edit to impact mobile menu?
it seems like my mobile menu show main menu & sidebar menu, how to set so that it only display main menu?
Please go to Appearance >> Menus and select the sidebar menu and in the end of the menu you find the sidebar menu option just uncheck the box of sidebar menu.

on mobile my menu have 2 menus, 1 is main menu another 1 is sidebar menu. In main menu sidebar menu is unchecked by default.

You can not create 2 shops in the same time for the single site in woocommerce. But you can create so many different products in a shop and also create different types of categories assign to products.

May be you misunderstand my idea. For example, in the default theme, There is a shop to purchase goods. But I want to create Men’s Fashion to sell men’s clothes, Women’s Fashion to sell women’s clothes. Like this: http://imgur.com/HWUTfDo

As I already mentioned in my last comment that for the different products you can create different categories and assign relative category to the products.

You also have a bug somewhere that I can’t isolate.. Users who do not have access to the WP backend see the WooCommerce stores fine but anyone logged into the backend with the WP nav bar at the top and the CSS breaks…

To say that I feel more than slightly foolish about this is putting it mildly but just to feedback…
Thou shalt not set WooCommerce > System Status > Tools > “Template Debug Mode” to enabled, or it will beggar up your theme when logged in as an administrator…

Just a tip regarding the Illegal string offset error for wp-includes/l10n.php…
The error message is hiding the fact that you need to update the WP plugins that are pre-packaged with Porto.
To fix, go to the WP-dashboard > Appearance > Install Plugins and update the ones that are highlighted as needing an update.
This fixed the issue for our site.
Hope that’s useful for anyone else who’s wondering what’s going on.

when there is a new update (like now), I am used to click on the Envato toolkit (as with other themes) and then on themes and can update the theme. With the porto theme I have the Envato toolkit with my correct login, but there is no tab with themes and I cannot update it directly!!

I think I put in a wrong API key. Now it works. However…. I cannot update the theme, it says: “The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. ”. So, I will have to check ALL permissions??? I have installed it putting the zip file with ftp on my server and unzipping (because it didn’t upload with WP). Any hints which permissions I have to check? thanks

After Porto update from 2.8.4 to 3.0 we lost custom tabs, we have 5-6 tabs set in previous versions but now it showing only 2, and in custom fields area we can see that there is 6 tabs but we can edit and see only 2 of them, however that being said on the product view page where all customers are viewing the product they can see all 6 or whatever we have tabs the problem is that when you edit the page we just can edit 2 of them please fix asap.

How can I import demo data using Alternative Method? I can’t find any documentation for “Alternative Method” on official documentation page. Thanks.
Actually, we have changed and improved the method of import Demo. Now you can install the demo with single click method only. Please go to Admin Panel >> you can find the Porto menu >> Click the Install Demo >> Here you find all the demo for installation.

I have not tried import all the demos yet but I have a issue to import “shop7” demo. also tried on 3 different vps (DO, Linode, AWS)
fresh installed lamp or lemp stack ( testing on 1 cpu, 2 cpu cores. ) no firewall enabled, no https.
I’m monitoring “htop” almost 1 hour now ( 2 cpu, 4G memory )
cpu usage passing 50% each core ( if with 1 cpu will be 100% all the time) ram usage almost 2G. ( if with 1G ram will hang all day )
I don’t think your improved method is really improved…(wp importer) and I prefer manual upload.
please, can you provide alternative method?

ps: yesterday on AWS t2.micro( 1cpu, 1g ram, 30g ssd ), mysql bin log(100M each) are generated & filled all volume space during import demo. I had to remove manually.

is it possible to add a subtitle for each product? I would like to have the brand as a subtitle. For example, if we sell wines, it would be nice to have the winery name below the product name.

Please read what I wrote. NOT the name of the product, I mean a subtitle! So, a line under the product name. Example: Product name – brand’s name -

Please check Optimal Server Requirements For Theme:
• Server Type: Linux with cPanel ( Bluehost hosting Recommended ) • PHP version = 5.4 or greater • Apache = 2.2 or greater • MySQL = 5.5 or greater • PHP Memory Limit = 256mb • PHP max_execution_time = 600 seconds • mod_rewrite Apache module = Enabled
If you are installing through WordPress Theme section, make sure your PHP Upload File Size limit is 40MB, since the theme .zip file is around 40MB
Please make sure all above settings are correct on your server, before complaining about theme issues. You can contact your web hosting company.
Go to Theme Options >> skin >> Compile default css and from here click Theme css and plugin css button one by one then Save changes.
