Hello there, with your carousel im trying to edit it but it seems very limited, i currently have the row as “full width content” but it is only showing 3 x carousel items, how can i increase this based on screen size, the responsive views are fine, but im viewing on a 27 inch monitor and 3 small carousel items looks a bit silly, Also is it possible to have this continuously scrolling instead of sliding in and out, with a pause on mouseover?

It could be achieved with custom css – add the widget into the first column and then use this in the custom css box in the Salient options panel:
#footer-widgets .row > div:not(:first-child) { display: none; }
#footer-widgets .row > div {
width: 100%!important;
margin: 0!important;

The contact menu button is all white see through but for some reason I can’t style it on hover while sticky menu is in place…
If you scroll down a bit and scroll back up a sticky menu will appear…on hover I can’t get it to stay just all white like it is when transparent…the border is still not white….ugh.

Our current website runs Sailent v.3.15. We updated to Wordpress 4.5.3 and the Visual composer has crashed.
I have the product code for the initial purchase but the have lost the account information.
Is there a way we can update our site? Also, If we have to purchase the theme again (which isn’t our best option here) Will we lose the existing look and feel of the site and new pages created?

You’ll need to contact Envato in order to get access to the theme without purchasing it again – Your design should still work the same in the current version. When you do install the current version just remember to install and activate Salient VC now in appearance > install plugins as it’s no longer built in

I’ve used the image gallery using the visual composer, with these settings: Gallery type: Image Gallery Style, Layout: 3 Columns, Image size: full, Gallery Style: Meta below thumb w/ links on hover.
Thumbnails in the gallery looked sharp. However, when i clicked “View Larger”, the image became blurred.
Here is a screenshot (left image is from my website where image is blurred when “View Larger”, right is what is should look like at that particular size: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwBghPzmVskISzEtcmFyWEdyZVkImages in the gallery are all resized to 1024×683 and not the resolution that i’ve uploaded (2048×1365). Is there any way to solve this? Thanks!
alright, i think there’s a problem with your theme. cos when i created a gallery using the default wordpress menu, im able to choose “full” image size, whereas in your menu, it’s stuck at 1024px despite me typing ‘full’ in the image size column.

The lightbox image link size is set by the “large” image size you have defined in Settings > Media in your admin panel. The fix which will allow the “full” size to work normally will be in the update coming out shortly

Is there a way to null the “form’s” css on just one page? I have a plugin that uses forms but the themes css makes some of the text not visable.

Hello, was wondering if you’ve seen anyone successfully integrate Scrollify (http://projects.lukehaas.me/scrollify) or a similar snap to section which also orients that section’s content to the size of the view port. Seems like it would be a killer feature for Salient and haven’t seen another theme on Theme Forest with it.

Is that only occurring for you when Salient is the active theme? The error message you’ve posted is coming from the plugin, and since there’s no known compatibility issue with yoast SEO and Salient, something else might be occurring. Have you tried reinstalling the plugin?

Found it ! That wasn’t because of SEO, that was because of PHP version and .htaccess. I switched to PHP 5.6.2, everythink works! Thx!

for the nectar slider on the homepage, is it possible to have buttons so you can manually shift through the slides instead of an automatic timer. If not than I think you guys should really considering adding something like that to the theme.

Yes there’s next/prev buttons and pagination buttons available as options. You can turn them on/off when editing the Nectar Slider element in Visual Composer on the page you have it placed

A few things on my site are not being responsive. I wondered if you could help?
If I view the website on an ipad or reduce the size of my browser – any long testimonial text overlaps. I also have a table at the bottom of my home page which doesn’t reduce in size, it just stays were it is and thus a whole column is missing when the site is viewed on an ipad.

I’m using a add-on for visual composer that animates buttons, but it doesn’t allow me to inherit the accent color that is selected through the Salient theme. Is there a way to add into the “Extra class name” or somewhere some code that will inherit whatever accent color is selected? That way if we change the accent color, we won’t have to continually go back and change the color for every button on the website?

ok so I could put a woo commerce shortcode category into portfolio page to show some items..
You could use the portfolio element to create the masonry grid and link each project to a WooCommerce category, however note that it would be a manual process. I.e. each project item would need to be created separately with the link, there’s no way to have an automatic masonry grid of woocommerce categories populate
